So far I have some pretty bad experiences with this vet. I get my dogs flea/tick preventative from them and his claws clipped but this is where my service stops. There have been two specific occasions where I have needed to call them on an emergency basis and their response is that they cannot supply an answer until the next day, I call during normal business hours mind you. This is both a nuisance to myself and my dog, so in emergencies I have resorted to other local vets that are able to better provide me with quicker service that is beneficial to my dogs health. I hope they can change their work ethic and values for me in the future but incase anyone else has shared the same traumatic experiences, your not alone. Thank you!! Read Less

I can’t say enough about how confident and comfortable I feel taking my precious Great Pyrenees to them yesterday morning post surgery at the Emergency Animal Hospital on Sunday. I even left a desperate message on their voicemail on Sunday and to my surprise, Dr Emmet called me back! I wasn’t expecting that, but he told me where to take my Pyr. Unfair billing - staff said there would be NO charge, several weeks later I received a bill and they will not stand behind what I was told by the individual. I recently started taking my service dog here because his former vet retired. The first time I came in to establish my dog and myself as new clients I felt very welcomed. I brought him in about two weeks later to have his toenails cut. They did a fabulous job. While he was getting his nails cut Dr. White made a point to come out and introduce herself. She is very pleasant and does not make you feel like you are stupid using fancy terminology. She is very down to earth and respectful. My dog is a guide dog and of course I depend on him to take me through the community safely and healthy. I am confident that he is in the best hands possible here. Every time I have been in the facility smells clean and the staff are pleasant and professional. My dog is very well taken care of when they take him to the grooming room. I hear the staff laughing and giving him all kinds of love. Since my dog is a guide dog I have high standards for the way he is treated and Dr. White is completely on the same page with me. Called to get an estimate on how much a few shots for my dog would cost & the receptionist told me how much. I mentioned these being cheaper at another vet (wasn't sure if they offered matching of other vets) & she gave me great advice by telling me to go to that Vet! Dr. Emmert is superb. He is always able to answer all of my questions about my dog, since she has a bad couple of ears and a bad back. She has been going to McGee Street Animal Hospital for wellness checkups, her injections at the end of the year, and she needed a couple of surgeries. She also had a laser treatment on her back. The staff is very nice they don't try to upsell things you don't need. If the appointment says 11 o'clock they mean 11 o'clock not 1130 or noon. They were very good with my cat and they gave me an estimate before they treated him. Yesterday he was lethargic and in pain, this morning he was his normal chirpy self and was even putting weight on his foot. I took him in for an abscessed foot and that's exactly what they treated him for. I know I'm grateful I'm pretty sure he is too. Read Less

I was nervous after dropping my 80 pound, Shepherd/Border Collie off for vaccination boosters and a summer shave! This was his first hair cut and first time in a new environment. I was anxious because I know my dog is high energy and very vocal. I returned to see a handsome dog, groomed perfectly, and the staff did not shame myself or my dog for his energetic behavior. In the past, places such as Petco, Pet Smart, etc would refuse to groom him, because on a scale of 1-10 of calmness he is a 1.
