As with new doctors, dentists, therapists, or whatever else, I'm always a bit anxious finding a new vet for my dog. My parents recommended Rose Rock, because they have a rare breed their former vet knew nothing about and didn't do much to help. Since then, they have taken their dog to Rose Rock. I gave them a shot, because my dog is a Bugg, a pretty uncommon crossbreed of a pug and Boston terrier. They seemed to be familiar with the traits of both breeds and gave me pretty accurate information without knowing too much about him outside their office... especially his tendency to eat too much. They took a blood sample and gave him his vaccinations with ease, plus took his temperature rectally, which all dogs seem to just LOVE. I was worried because my dog does bite, scratch and box (and doesn't know the meaning of "gentle") but he was about as well-behaved as he gets when they went to work on him. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and courteous, even offering to get all my dog's records from the last vet in Arizona when I called to set up the appointment. They had free coffee in the lobby, and I only wish any doctor I've been to for myself saw me that quickly. I have no complaints about my experience here, except for my psychotic little dog who got way too excited in the lobby. Read Less
