They are amazing, and really care.
I’ve been bringing my pets here for nearly a year, and they have been great everytime in answering questions and working with me on my grad student shoe string budget.
What amazes me is how above and beyond the staff went for us today.
I found a stray kitten in my bushes, and she had a hole in her neck. Me being the big softy I am immediately took her in, and the vet was able to see her right away and get her put right.
And then, the poor kitty, esacped from me when i was trying to put her in my car, and ran into the thick bushes surrounding the clinic. Even without me asking, Two of the emplyees came outside to help me trudge through the brambles looking for her, taking up about 1.5 hours, and all were happy to do it, because they really did care. I was very amazed and appreciative of how much they wanted to help with this little stray.

Sooner refused to give me a price! saying they could not do that even though they know the type of medication the dosage and the number of pills... They said they had to see my dog before they could price anything!!! WHAT ????? THATS STUPID NUTS... I just wanted to price compare the meds...

Since Doctor Russel retired, the quality of veterinarians have gone downhill. It seems as if you are rushed out of the exam room quickly. The last time we were in there, I helped my mother bring her two dogs in. The chocolate lab is very hyperactive. She was seen by a new veterinarian there. When the veterinarian came in, she did not bother to introduce herself. First thing she said when she came in the door was, that dog needs a sedative every time she comes in here. Definitely not the proper way to start off a visit. Yes, the dog is hyper and she does need a sedative. Very poor people skills on this new lady’s part. I always took my dog to Doctor Russel when he was still full time. Since he retired, I have since moved to a different veterinarian. Nothing whatsoever against Doctor Russel. He is the best out there. I do not care at all for the quality of care provided by the other veterinarians there.

They are truly amazing. My cat had kittens and it didn't go so well. She got sick and became septic. They got me in and did immediate emergency surgery on her right away even though they weren't sure if she would survive or not. They took great care of the kittens as well and gave us lots of tips. I'm happy to report that 2 kittens are doing amazing and my cat is back to her fiesty self again terrorizing the house! At her recheck everyone had to come in and love on her because they were all so happy she had pulled thru and everyone of them spoiled her!!

I used to love this clinic. I've been bringing my first cat here for 1.5 years and my second cat for five months. I always tried to stay calm when there are several large, loud dogs coming up to me and my cat in the waiting room. But it's just not a big enough space to have so many animals in there at once.
My elderly cat has been sick since I got her (she was dying when I adopted her) and I always paid vet bills over my own needs. Everyone told me they thought my vet was overcharging me but I ignored it, until now.
I took my elderly cat in a few days ago because I found tumors and saw a vet I don't usually see. She grabbed my cat (feeling for tumors) and just said "it needs to come out"... There was zero compassion. They gave me a cost breakdown of all the services I need for her and I shared it with a friend and compared prices.
They've been taking advantage of me for five months. I given them $1500, in five months.

Our home vet wasn't able to get us in when my pup had an allergic reaction & S.V.C. got us in right away. We waited for about an hour in all, but they were doing emergency care on a fur kid that needed attention. Krystina (sorry if I butchered the spelling) was helpful and David Morales D.V.M. was great. They're actually more fairly priced than our usual vet & I believe we will be making a switch. THANK you guys for your help with Haze.

I had a baby chiweenie puppy last year that I took in to get his shots as soon as he was old enough. When they examined him, they found that he had the parvo virus. They helped me nurse him and tried their hardest to save my baby. But, unfortunately he was so tiny that his little body couldn't fight off the virus. He passed away. But, thanks to ALL the staff there it was a little easier for me to say good bye to my little one. They are amazing people and sure do show their love for their jobs and for our babies of every kind. Thanks so much!!! I will never go to another Vet, except for y'all!!

This place is trash. They told me my dog was in exceptional health when I brought him in for a checkup, even though he appeared to be in pain. That didn't stop them from keeping him for a whole weeken...
This place is trash. They told me my dog was in exceptional health when I brought him in for a checkup, even though he appeared to be in pain. That didn't stop them from keeping him for a whole weekend, and charging me thousands of dollars to do so. His condition didn't improve, so I took him to a competing vet, who quickly diagnosed him with a motor neuron disease and found a large lipoma in his groin that Sooner Vet missed. I also found out that my dog tested positive for Ehrlichia at Sooner Vet, and I was never informed. I only found out when the new vet pulled my chart from them. I'm beyond angry, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

This is the best Vet Service in the metro. I have been taking my fur babies here for 20 years and even though there are new people, the same quality of service and just downright kindness has not suffered with their growth. We have been to see Dr. Russell many times over many years with our dogs and have had good experiences. Recently my 16 year old cat, who had been very healthy, became sick and I took her to Dr. Russell. He was very compassionate and honest telling me that due to her age and condition she would probably not live much longer. We discussed possible options and probable results. After much discussion (& patience on his part), we decided to put her to sleep gently. It was a very hard decision, and I was upset, but felt it was probably best. I so appreciate Dr. Russell's honesty. I have heard so many horror stories from others about vets/hospitals who run up huge bills on pets, only to have them die anyway. Thank you Dr. Russell for your kindness, compassion and honesty.

I brought my dog here to have him neutered and after I picked him up that day he has never been the same, doesn't trust me or my husband anymore. They told us he has "issues with his paws" but I would touch his paws every day and "shake" was his favorite trick- he won't do that anymore. I am confident that this office didn't treat my dog properly, didn't gain his trust, and violated him. I will never go back there and I hope that anyone reading this will not take their pet there either. Never in my life have I seen an animal be so permanently affected by one trip to the vet.

I've to this place almost a dozen times for my cats having diarrhea. they gave her a dewormer. gave poo sample. came back again.. gave her antibotic and deworm along with fortiflora. came back with my other cat. Dr. Russell was very very helpful out of all the vets! addressed all possabilities. gave me anti diarrhea med. i started buying the suggested I.D prescription diet medicine. said to come back with another sample to try to test for other things that was not tested the first time. results were all negative. came back again with my other cat and a poo sample covered in what seemed to be tapeworms. they gave me dewormers and called with the results "negative."i asked how could it be negative when there were obviously worms. the front desk lady said they didnt test for worms because there were obviously worms. i asked why i even sent it in then. we got in heated discussion. she said it was so they could test for other things, they already have though so it doesnt make sense. i called back again to request an appointment with dr russel. the same lady said he was sick. i said i'd call back next week and she hung up on me.very displeased!!! all vets (besides russel) and most staff seem to want money not to solve your cats problems!

Even without me asking, Two of the emplyees came outside to help me trudge through the brambles looking for her, taking up about 1.5 hours, and all were happy to do it, because they really did care. I was very amazed and appreciative of how much they wanted to help with this little stray.

Since Doctor Russel retired, the quality of veterinarians have gone downhill. It seems as if you are rushed out of the exam room quickly. The last time we were in there, I helped my mother bring her two dogs in. The chocolate lab is very hyperactive. She was seen by a new veterinarian there. When the veterinarian came in, she did not bother to introduce herself. First thing she said when she came in the door was, that dog needs a sedative every time she comes in here. Definitely not the proper way to start off a visit. Yes, the dog is hyper and she does need a sedative. Very poor people skills on this new lady’s part. I always took my dog to Doctor Russel when he was still full time. Since he retired, I have since moved to a different veterinarian. Nothing whatsoever against Doctor Russel. He is the best out there. I do not care at all for the quality of care provided by the other veterinarians there.

They are truly amazing. My cat had kittens and it didn't go so well. She got sick and became septic. They got me in and did immediate emergency surgery on her right away even though they weren't sure if she would survive or not. They took great care of the kittens as well and gave us lots of tips. I'm happy to report that 2 kittens are doing amazing and my cat is back to her fiesty self again terrorizing the house! At her recheck everyone had to come in and love on her because they were all so happy she had pulled thru and everyone of them spoiled her!!

I used to love this clinic. I've been bringing my first cat here for 1.5 years and my second cat for five months. I always tried to stay calm when there are several large, loud dogs coming up to me and my cat in the waiting room. But it's just not a big enough space to have so many animals in there at once.
My elderly cat has been sick since I got her (she was dying when I adopted her) and I always paid vet bills over my own needs. Everyone told me they thought my vet was overcharging me but I ignored it, until now.
I took my elderly cat in a few days ago because I found tumors and saw a vet I don't usually see. She grabbed my cat (feeling for tumors) and just said "it needs to come out"... There was zero compassion. They gave me a cost breakdown of all the services I need for her and I shared it with a friend and compared prices.
They've been taking advantage of me for five months. I given them $1500, in five months.

Our home vet wasn't able to get us in when my pup had an allergic reaction & S.V.C. got us in right away. We waited for about an hour in all, but they were doing emergency care on a fur kid that needed attention. Krystina (sorry if I butchered the spelling) was helpful and David Morales D.V.M. was great. They're actually more fairly priced than our usual vet & I believe we will be making a switch. THANK you guys for your help with Haze.

I had a baby chiweenie puppy last year that I took in to get his shots as soon as he was old enough. When they examined him, they found that he had the parvo virus. They helped me nurse him and tried their hardest to save my baby. But, unfortunately he was so tiny that his little body couldn't fight off the virus. He passed away. But, thanks to ALL the staff there it was a little easier for me to say good bye to my little one. They are amazing people and sure do show their love for their jobs and for our babies of every kind. Thanks so much!!! I will never go to another Vet, except for y'all!!

This place is trash. They told me my dog was in exceptional health when I brought him in for a checkup, even though he appeared to be in pain. That didn't stop them from keeping him for a whole weekend, and charging me thousands of dollars to do so. His condition didn't improve, so I took him to a competing vet, who quickly diagnosed him with a motor neuron disease and found a large lipoma in his groin that Sooner Vet missed. I also found out that my dog tested positive for Ehrlichia at Sooner Vet, and I was never informed. I only found out when the new vet pulled my chart from them. I'm beyond angry, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

We have been to see Dr. Russell many times over many years with our dogs and have had good experiences. Recently my 16 year old cat, who had been very healthy, became sick and I took her to Dr. Russell. He was very compassionate and honest telling me that due to her age and condition she would probably not live much longer. We discussed possible options and probable results. After much discussion (& patience on his part), we decided to put her to sleep gently. It was a very hard decision, and I was upset, but felt it was probably best. I so appreciate Dr. Russell's honesty. I have heard so many horror stories from others about vets/hospitals who run up huge bills on pets, only to have them die anyway. Thank you Dr. Russell for your kindness, compassion and honesty.

I brought my dog here to have him neutered and after I picked him up that day he has never been the same, doesn't trust me or my husband anymore. They told us he has "issues with his paws" but I would touch his paws every day and "shake" was his favorite trick- he won't do that anymore. I am confident that this office didn't treat my dog properly, didn't gain his trust, and violated him. I will never go back there and I hope that anyone reading this will not take their pet there either. Never in my life have I seen an animal be so permanently affected by one trip to the vet.

I've to this place almost a dozen times for my cats having diarrhea. they gave her a dewormer. gave poo sample. came back again.. gave her antibotic and deworm along with fortiflora. came back with my other cat. Dr. Russell was very very helpful out of all the vets! addressed all possabilities. gave me anti diarrhea med. i started buying the suggested I.D prescription diet medicine. said to come back with another sample to try to test for other things that was not tested the first time. results were all negative. came back again with my other cat and a poo sample covered in what seemed to be tapeworms. they gave me dewormers and called with the results "negative."i asked how could it be negative when there were obviously worms. the front desk lady said they didnt test for worms because there were obviously worms. i asked why i even sent it in then. we got in heated discussion. she said it was so they could test for other things, they already have though so it doesnt make sense. i called back again to request an appointment with dr russel. the same lady said he was sick. i said i'd call back next week and she hung up on me.very displeased!!! all vets (besides russel) and most staff seem to want money not to solve your cats problems!
