Dr. Otto has always provided our furbabies with excellent veterinary care. You can tell that he genuinely cares about animals and he always takes the time to explain issues and conditions to us so we can make informed decisions. Cindy is usually working the front desk and she is the nicest person you could ever meet. She is always compassionate and friendly and helpful. Similarly, the vet techs are always kind and gentle with our pets. We never worry about the care we will receive here. They're not the cheapest vet office in town, but the care we receive is always terrific so to us it's a bargain. Read Less

We have been taking all of our pets here for the last few years. Today we had to put one of our kitties to sleep, and the whole experience was painless and very professional. Dr. Campbell made sure to walk us through every part of our cat's illness and end. As sad as it is to have to make this decision, I am so glad that we took her here. I just made an appointment for my cat and I know sometimes I ask a lot of questions, she answered everything and was so helpful. The receptionist is the nicest and friendliest woman I have ever met. Her enthusiasm brightened our day. The vet was kind and understanding. He took his time to answer our questions and we never felt rushed. He also gave us additional material to answer any more questions or concerns we had about our new puppy. We switched to University Hospital after the passing of our regular vet Dr. Linnaman. We had such a good relationship with him, we dreaded changing vets. But we were wonderfully surprised. Both Dr. Otto and Dr. Campbell are compassionate caring vets. They are genuinely concerned with our bassetts overall health and care. They are also pragmatic which I appreciate. One of our first visits was to put our 15 year old basset down. He had taking such a sudden turn for the worse. The staff and doctors were very compassionate and caring. I also appreciated the fact that they didn't try to talk me into not putting him to sleep. It wad time and they acknowledged it. The office is clean and efficient. Dr. Otto also raises money for his foundation thru a book he wrote about a true story. It is very touching and shows his commitment to service.Read Less

University Animal Hospital is the only place to have your pet cared for! The staff is just awesome! They are friendly, knowledgeable, caring, and did I say awesome?! Dr. Otto is brilliant, honest, sweet, caring, and upfront, no hidden agenda. My pup Dani is skiddish and frightened of strange men, but, Dr. Otto won her over! I board Dani there because I don't trust anywhere else. I know she gets the best care possible while I'm away. Dani became ill with an Autoimmune disease this last summer and through the diligence of Dr. Otto - well, he saved my pup's life! I will be forever grateful to Dr. Otto and his staff. I went to this vet this morning after adopting my dog, Max, from the OKC Animal Shelter on Monday. Dr. Otto and his staff are all really great people! They were all very helpful and friendly to Max and I! I will definitely use them for all of my veterinary needs, thank you UAH! After reading some of the bad reviews we had mixed feelings when we took our kitten to University Animal Hospital this week. BUT we were positively surprised! Dr. Campbell and his assistant were very nice and patient. We had about 1000 questions and he answered them all patiently and explained everything! We even had some forms for him to fill out and he did that for free although it took him a long time because he was so careful and double-checked everything. The rooms were clean and friendly.
