Let me start by saying not all Banfield's are created equally. We have been loyal banfield patients for multiple years.. We recently moved from South OKC to North OKC and tried to switch to this location- What.A.Mistake. The entire visit was a cluster to say the least. We had a 7:45am drop off time and were rushed to get them checked in and cut short on our questions. We were called at 1pm and told we could pick up our dogs at 330pm. 330 PM rolls around and the dogs aren't ready... okay, thats fine we can wait. 25 minutes later they bring one of the dogs out-with no collar and no leash. Fast forward another 20 minutes and our second dog is brought out. I ask if a skin scrape was performed and what the results were (This was the main reason I made the appointment!) and I was informed that no skin scrape was done...and the vet decided my dogs skin condition (that we have been dealing with his entire life) was "resolved". I had to ask the aid multiple times to do the skin scrape, and she kept insisting it wasn't necessary.. I know they deal with dogs and this is their job.. But this is my dog and we have been around this block a time or two. If he doesn't have his medication his hair falls out.. The Vet would have known that if she would have looked at the patient notes from the last 20 or so vet visits we have had at our previous Banfield. All in all I vote to go anywhere but here. Their customer service is terrible, no one communicates, and their "bedside manner" is nonexistent. I am not one to complain- But when it comes to my dogs and the amount of money we actually put into taking care of them- I expect nothing less than the best care possible.. and maybe a vet that comes out and actually speaks to you... Would you go to the doctors office and let the front desk secretary diagnose and treat you? Don't waste your time or money on this location! Looks like we will be making the 40 minute drive south to the Banfield on I-240 from here on out! Dr. Canida, Kayla and the rest of the crew are AMAZING! Read Less
