I thought I was real happy when I switched to this clinic after my other vet retired. Doctor Jeff Boyer was wonderful with my dog. However, I thought once you were their patient you would have priority for visits. Wrong...I was told I would have to wait over two weeks for my dog to be seen or go see someone else? What??? I guess I'm on the look out for a new vet again. Too bad because I really liked them and will stay with a vet for life if they treat my dog well.

He doesn't try to rip you off either. Another vet I went to, most of the assistants do everything if the problem isn't too serious and their wait time is long.

I genuinely can't imagine a more wonderful vet. We have brought all three of our dogs here for the last several years and every. single. time. we are thrilled with Dr. Boyer and his staff.
They remember our dogs by name (even the two that don't come in the be groomed regularly).
Twice we've had scary incidences where our dog needed emergency/abnormal care- our pups were taken care of and obviously loved while at the office, and we have always gotten follow-up phone calls to see how they are doing.
There have been a couple of occasions where we have brought a dog in for something unexpected and small (like a surprise allergy attack) and have not been charged an office visit, only the cost of medication.
-- One of these times we left our dog here all day after she had been attacked by another animal and we were not charged a single thing for them to monitor her all day. Who does that?!?
We love, love, love this practice, and plan on taking our doggies here long after we've moved out of the area. We can't imagine anyone having anything but a five star experience.

I'm sorry to say after 14 years and three dogs, I am parting ways with this vet clinic. I've been told that purchasing a generic arthritis med for my dog is being a bad parent. I have no choice-their expensive drug or find a new vet, and the vet is too busy to talk to me. I'm taking the "or" option. It's a shame when chasing the dollar is more important than taking care of the patient.

I’ve brought my dog and cat to Boyer's Veterinary Clinic for the past eight years and am very pleased with the service I have received. There are three veterinarians in the office and I have used all of them, although clients can request a specific doctor if they wish. They have ample appointments available and have always been able to get me an appointment for the same day when necessary. They have evening hours three days a week which makes it easier for me to schedule appointments after work. The doctors in this clinic are conservative and take the high cost of veterinary care into consideration when making recommendations for pet care. I appreciate this as I have been to other clinics that try to guilt clients into purchasing unnecessary and expensive treatments for their pets. All of the doctors are great, but I especially enjoy working with Dr. Bentley. She is very devoted to my dog and recently went to great lengths to find a diagnosis. She took time to speak with me and explain test results and the diagnosis in laymen’s terms and provided me with literature to read at home. I know she has both my dog’s and my best interest at heart and I feel confident in her abilities.

I have always been very pleased with any advice and attention given. Both veterinarians take time to actually get to know my dogs and they spend time to follow up on anything that I need looked at. I have referred my friends because I know that they wll also get the same special attention.

We had some problems with previous vets till we came here and it was like we had been clients for 10 years. They were nice, thoughtful, and very understanding of every situation or worry that we may have had, or do have when the time comes, at that point.

The groomer at Boyer cut my dog's eyeball. When I arrived to get her, the dr. was working on her and showed me the cut. Her whole eyebrow was shaved clean and it was obvious what had happened, and he agreed that was the case. We had to take her to an optometry specialist for surgery, The Boyer clinic refused to cover any of the cost and said for us to try to prove it in court. They didn't do what was right, and we have never been there again.

It would be nice to know how long a wait could be expected upon arriving for an appointment. The Doctors are more people friendly than the receptionist, do trust them with my pets but it's that first impression of the staff (techs too) that made us change doctors. Also allergic to cats so thoat started closing up while waiting 45 minutes to see a doctor as there was hair and dander everywhere. Of course some is expected but there seemed to be an over abundance, maybe since it was late in the day but not the cleanest place we've been.

I appreciate this as I have been to other clinics that try to guilt clients into purchasing unnecessary and expensive treatments for their pets. All of the doctors are great, but I especially enjoy working with Dr. Bentley. She is very devoted to my dog and recently went to great lengths to find a diagnosis. She took time to speak with me and explain test results and the diagnosis in laymen’s terms and provided me with literature to read at home. I know she has both my dog’s and my best interest at heart and I feel confident in her abilities.

I have brought my dog and cat to Boyer's Veterinary Clinic for the past eight years and am very pleased with the service I have received. There are three veterinarians in the office and I have used all of them, although clients can request a specific doctor if they wish. They have ample appointments available and have always been able to get me an appointment for the same day when necessary. They have evening hours three days a week which makes it easier for me to schedule appointments after work. I moved away from the general vicinity of Boyers, but I will still drive back to make the 30 minute trip for my dogs. It is something about the way they treat me and my two dogs. I have always been very pleased with any advice and attention given. Both veterinarians take time to actually get to know my dogs and they spend time to follow up on anything that I need looked at. I have referred my friends because I know that they wll also get the same special attention.

We had some problems with previous vets till we came here and it was like we had been clients for 10 years. They were nice, thoughtful, and very understanding of every situation or worry that we may have had, or do have when the time comes, at that point.

The groomer at Boyer cut my dog's eyeball. When I arrived to get her, the dr. was working on her and showed me the cut. Her whole eyebrow was shaved clean and it was obvious what had happened, and he agreed that was the case. We had to take her to an optometry specialist for surgery, The Boyer clinic refused to cover any of the cost and said for us to try to prove it in court. They didn't do what was right, and we have never been there again.

The Doctors are more people friendly than the receptionist, do trust them with my pets but it's that first impression of the staff (techs too) that made us change doctors. Also allergic to cats so thoat started closing up while waiting 45 minutes to see a doctor as there was hair and dander everywhere. Of course some is expected but there seemed to be an over abundance, maybe since it was late in the day but not the cleanest place we've been.
