We've taken our cat here for 6 years for his regular exams and shots, and they've always been kind and admiring of our beautiful kitty. They stitched him up after a bite a few years ago, and he healed beautifully.
We recently made the difficult decision to have him put to sleep after a serious blockage. The initial 1 day treatment wasn't enough to clear it up. The option was surgery and/or several days hospitalization, both quite expensive. I couldn't face our boy having to go through so much more discomfort, anxiety, recovery, etc.
They were so compassionate and gentle. Even though it was so sad, I was reassured to see how peaceful he was throughout. I am impressed with both the professionalism and kindness of the vets and techs, and recommend this place without hesitation.

Be wary of Dr. Blair. If you review her profile, you will see her kids have some expensive activities. She needs to pay the bills, and in my experience, she will do so by saying your pet needs expensive treatment, even if they don't. My dog ate vitamin D gummies. Dr. Blair told us that Vitamin D is the active ingredient in Rat Poison and they my dog needed emergency treatment to save her life. After paying $650, I did a bit more research on my own and talked to my regular vet. I learned that my dog would have needed to eat 16 BOTTLES of gummies to die and at least three bottles to have any effects at all. Dr. Blair refused to return my money and her bad lab work caused me to have additional unnecessary tests run on my dog. I would not recommend Dr. Blair. Perhaps the other doctors at Hefner Road are better, but be cautious of her poor diagnostics and desire to run up your bill.

I love this Animal Hospital. I've been taking my dog here for 3 years and I've never had a single problem. The employees are friendly. The vets and vet techs are absolutely amazing and informative. They treat all of the animals that come in like family. If you board your dogs at the Animal Hospital or the Pet Resort those babies are always taken care of! 7 days a week those employees work. They take each dog out to go potty multiple times a day, clean each kennel twice daily ...or as many times as needed. They feed the animals as many times as instructed by the owner and change out the water multiple times a day. They are very thorough with everything they do! Very orginized company! Dr. Purvis runs an amazing Hospital and Pet Resort, it is top of the line and they treat every human and animal with respect, love and care because they know that your animals are your babies! I don't know what "Laura S." is talking about......I've been taking my dog here for years, and THEY have you take your dog's collar with you. I think she's full of it. Every time I've kept my dog here, they have been nothing but professional and accommodating. I never worry about having my dog stay here. I think Laura is full of it. As for "Monique", I think you're also a "high-maintenance" client that is never satisfied, and expects the "help" to bow at her feet for the privilege of letting them serve her LOL!

I would not take a FLY to this place. It started with the ILL MANNERED human who answered the phone. ABRUPT, SHORT AND RUDE. I've never used this place, I don't recommend it AT ALL.

They lost my dogs collar when I asked for them to please look around and see if they could find it nobody called me back ,called back again they said they couldn't find it .I called to speak to the manager and she basically said that she doesn't know what to tell me and this happens all the time I should have not left the collar on him when I droped him off. I asked her for customer service purposes what was she going to do for me and she said once I signed over the dog to them that customer service goes out the window. I will never take my dog there again and Donna the manager is terrible. Absolutely no help! I know it doesn't seem like a big deal but collars are expensive plus all the tags that were on the collar. They also gave my dog a bath and whenever I asked him about it they denied giving it to him a bath which wouldn't seem like a big deal but I'm wondering why you had to give him a Bath. My Sumption is they didn't let him out of the cage and he had an accident all over himself.

My dog Baxter was having problems getting up. He has arthisis and it was getting worse. He does not take pills well, so I needed an alternative. I had wanted to try low laser therapy, I just didn't know who to go to. Someone told me to try Hefner Road Animal Hospital. They are very friendly and love all of the animals that come in there. Baxter has been doing better ever since he started his therapy there.

We've taken our cat here for 6 years for his regular exams and shots, and they've always been kind and admiring of our beautiful kitty. They stitched him up after a bite a few years ago, and he healed beautifully.
