I went to this location to get my dog spayed and I thought everything was okay when i got back home to texas and after a month of the surgery the incision was healed but we noticed blood in her urine ...
I went to this location to get my dog spayed and I thought everything was okay when i got back home to texas and after a month of the surgery the incision was healed but we noticed blood in her urine so as any concern owner would of been i took her to the vet to see whats going on. They began to do urine and blood samples and discovered blood and puss inside her incision so they began doing x-rays they tell me that during southerns(my baby) surgery they left pieces of her ovaries and uterus behind and that caused the infection so they have to get her to an emergency vet to get surgery. At this point im upset that i have to pay again to get the job corrected and that a poor job was done. Now mind you I live in texas and the only reason why I had the operation done there was because i was visiting family. So i take two days off to come back and get this issue revolve all i want is for them to make this right and refund the money back. As im in the office i talked to Cati the manager she was not very understanding and helpful about the situation and at one point after telling her what happen, she keeps saying this never happens and that how do I know this happened after showing her vet records from the surgery she keeps saying she doesn’t believe that it was left behind. At one point she asked why i didn’t bring her back after knowing this. I continuously told her i would of never known something was wrong had she not started bleeding and then having to go into surgery right away after continuously going back and forward I left and spoke to their CEO Dana McCrory I felt like she understood how upset I was but kept going back to policy. That you have to come back if anything is wrong but again I would of never known had she never started bleeding and by time I knew what the cause was she was already out of surgery after they fixed what happened. Dana said she will get back to me I only ask that you guys pray for me that they make this right.

Not too bad overall. Of course it has a bit of an odor but $10 for a cat vaccine is not a bad price at all. Maybe a couple of weeks out on scheduling appointments.

I am not pleased at all. I saw when I picked up my kitten that there was a spot in his carrier from where he wet himself. I didn't think anything of it because it was little spot. I get him home and take him out of the carrier and his whole hindquarters were damp and reeked of pee and I can't give him a bath for 3-5 days while he heals. I had my doubts when I saw the place and then went inside and smelled the place as well. It looks clean, but it smells far from it. Yes, this place is affordable, but I wouldn't advise it. I just hope my little Tigger doesn't get an infection from anything he may have been exposed to in there. If you can afford to, go somewhere else or save up and go somewhere else.

Took my dog to get spayed here. Checked the online website to see what was needed. I also called to make sure that all I needed was the rabies shot. The woman on the phone was very informative. She advised me there would most likely be a line at 8:00am so I got there early. There was only a total of 5-6 people outside waiting once the doors opened. The staff was very friendly and caring towards my dog when I dropped her off. They called me later that afternoon when she was ready to get picked up. The woman gave me a form with post op instructions and phone numbers to call if any complications arise. This was the best service I've gotten. I would definitely recommend!

Very hectic drop off and pick up. Pet covered in blood and sedated when I picked up. No answer when I called several times to check up. No one to assist with follow up complications. No one advised to bring shot record. Very stressful place for animals before surgery. Had no idea there would be a line outside and the wait would be over 30 minutes to drop off. My pet survived and the price was good, is the only good thing I found I really liked.

I take my dogs to get shots here as well as had a successful neutered boy and my girl puppy is recovering from a spay that is going well. They have an emergency number that I called at midnight for a concern and received a call back in mins! Very helpful and amazing prices compared to everyone else. Staff is amazing and so friendly. They care about the animals.

They are so sweet there. Shots are expensive at the vet but only $10 here. Awesome for people who don't have a boatload of money. And they were so good with my scared little dog! ! This is the second time I've brought her here for shots and I had her spayed when I first got her years ago and they are just fantastic. I will be taking her back to be microchipped soon.

Rather pungent and bossy about your dog needing to be leashed. Jumped out of chair to come leash our pets before asking us if we had a leash. This truly is a get what you pay for scenario. Yes you can save some money here but you may be concerned when they take you pet in the back but do not allow you to join. The caged dogs yelping that can be heard from waiting area is not the most happy sound to listen to.

I have used the TNR program for several feral cats that I care for and it is absolutely wonderful. There are not many places feral cats can receive care so this program is extremely needed! The staff is incredible and they take great care of your pet at a price that is affordable if you utilize the program multiple times like I have. I applaude them for taking the initiative on controlling the overpopulation crisis of cats so humanely!

We have brought approximately 15 animals here to be spayed/neutered and given vaccinations. Very professional and organized, even when they have a crowd for those times they are offering spaying/neute...
We have brought approximately 15 animals here to be spayed/neutered and given vaccinations. Very professional and organized, even when they have a crowd for those times they are offering spaying/neutering for $20! I highly recommend them!!! Please keep in mind that pre-surgery bloodwork is not available. Great staff!! No issues thus far!!! :) Very satisfied!!!!

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! I took my new fur baby to this place, I drove from Tulsa to OKC because of the reviews and the price but don't let it fool you. Going in, they were friendly but had each dog in cages next to each other (stressing them out before surgery is not smart) then they never called to say when she was ready they just said between 430-530. I payed for extra pain meds which I did not receive (the front desk vet was VERY rude and said "I already went over that with you.") they did not wrap her up or give her a cone, she came out to me bleeding. They said they wanted it to clot. The woman again was rude and very uninterested in helping us check out, she couldn't even read the directions written on the paper. She had no idea what she was doing or taking about. We left and took our fur baby home and the next morning she had a stroke. We took her to an emergency vet near by and they put her on oxygen for being pale and her stomach filled with blood so they had to do emergency surgery. I am livid. I am hurt. I am confused. I can't believe they would be sloppy and incompetent. Unfortunately later that evening, my sweet Trixie passed away. Please do NOT take your animal here !

Our daughter took Trixie our corgi mix to get her spayed and she left with an awful bleeding incision. I told her to take her back immediately but they refused to have her looked at and sent her home. She bleed into her stomach all night and died after a surgery to repair the damage the following day of cardiac arrest. She was the sweetest most loving dog. They could have saved her last night but they refused to take care of their mistake.

We had three mama cats that were dumped on us fully pregnant. We live in the country and are eldery. People do this all the time. We knew if they were taken to a shelter they had little chance of survival. They had 14 babies. We gave all but 5 away. Called to have the mamas and the two female babies spayed. The clinic was outstanding!!! They cared for them with love and kindness. All are doing great! Will recommend this clinic to anyone needing spay or neutering and or shots. Thank you so much for helping just us out.

Never ever ever get your pet neutered at the Oklahoma Humane Society spay nuter clinic on NW 63rd! We took Sammy there and he has been non stop rubbing his area with his cone. It's so raw and red and he opened his sutures. I called them 9 times today and left messages and called the emergency number with NO response. I took him there cause it was cheaper...cheaper is not better!. It's going to cost me more to get the vet to fix it (stable his incision) give him the sedation, pain meds, and antibiotics he needs than it would have been for them to do it in the first place. Our poor fur baby. Lesson learned.

Staff were so helpful and caring for our pup who had been abused/abandoned. They took time to make him comfortable with leaving us and he came home in what seemed to be no pain at all. He was ready to play and run (despite Dr's orders ) the very next day.The day before he got neutered petsmart groomers kicked him out after just trying to brush him, these ladies and gents he had nothing but kisses and excitement for. They could not have done better. Don't let the "no anesthesia" myths or the odd location put you off. Your dog is fully medicated and the building is clean and equipped. These guys do the work of angels and treat your animals like their own.
***let me also add our "pup" is 87lbs of crazy when provoked. Lol.

The OK Humane Place Clinic staff are such wonderful people! They work hard everyday to offer low-cost surgeries, vaccines and preventatives. They are kind, patient people and they are saving lives by helping control the local dog and cat populations. Thank you for all that you do, OK Humane Place!

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! I took my new fur baby to this place, I drove from Tulsa to OKC because of the reviews and the price but don't let it fool you. Going in, they were friendly but had each dog in cages next to each other (stressing them out before surgery is not smart) then they never called to say when she was ready they just said between 430-530. I payed for extra pain meds which I did not receive (the front desk vet was VERY rude and said "I already went over that with you.") they did not wrap her up or give her a cone, she came out to me bleeding. They said they wanted it to clot. The woman again was rude and very uninterested in helping us check out, she couldn't even read the directions written on the paper. She had no idea what she was doing or taking about. We left and took our fur baby home and the next morning she had a stroke. We took her to an emergency vet near by and they put her on oxygen for being pale and her stomach filled with blood so they had to do emergency surgery. I am livid. I am hurt. I am confused. I can't believe they would be sloppy and incompetent. Unfortunately later that evening, my sweet Trixie passed away. Please do NOT take your animal here !

Our daughter took Trixie our corgi mix to get her spayed and she left with an awful bleeding incision. I told her to take her back immediately but they refused to have her looked at and sent her home...
Our daughter took Trixie our corgi mix to get her spayed and she left with an awful bleeding incision. I told her to take her back immediately but they refused to have her looked at and sent her home. She bleed into her stomach all night and died after a surgery to repair the damage the following day of cardiac arrest. She was the sweetest most loving dog. They could have saved her last night but they refused to take care of their mistake.

We had three mama cats that were dumped on us fully pregnant. We live in the country and are eldery. People do this all the time. We knew if they were taken to a shelter they had little chance of survival. They had 14 babies. We gave all but 5 away. Called to have the mamas and the two female babies spayed. The clinic was outstanding!!! They cared for them with love and kindness. All are doing great! Will recommend this clinic to anyone needing spay or neutering and or shots. Thank you so much for helping just us out.

Low cost way to get my pets up to speed on their vaccinations, microchips, and most important spay/neuter surgery. They were very helpful and made my dogs feel at ease. Highly recommend them!

Never ever ever get your pet neutered at the Oklahoma Humane Society spay nuter clinic on NW 63rd! We took Sammy there and he has been non stop rubbing his area with his cone. It's so raw and red and he opened his sutures. I called them 9 times today and left messages and called the emergency number with NO response. I took him there cause it was cheaper...cheaper is not better!. It's going to cost me more to get the vet to fix it (stable his incision) give him the sedation, pain meds, and antibiotics he needs than it would have been for them to do it in the first place. Our poor fur baby. Lesson learned.

We had a wonderful experience. The staff went above and beyond to help me. I was very impressed. When I went in the ladies are so welcoming. You leave out of there feeling better then you came in.

Staff were so helpful and caring for our pup who had been abused/abandoned. They took time to make him comfortable with leaving us and he came home in what seemed to be no pain at all. He was ready to play and run (despite Dr's orders ) the very next day.The day before he got neutered petsmart groomers kicked him out after just trying to brush him, these ladies and gents he had nothing but kisses and excitement for. They could not have done better. Don't let the "no anesthesia" myths or the odd location put you off. Your dog is fully medicated and the building is clean and equipped. These guys do the work of angels and treat your animals like their own.
***let me also add our "pup" is 87lbs of crazy when provoked. Lol.
