My experience with these vets was very poor. Their website says that they're a small animal clinic, and they are used by someone I know, so I went in with a sick small animal. They pressured and scared me worse than when I went in, and didn't have a discussion with me at all- they condescended to me. Their bedside manner was atrocious; hell, I felt almost bullied. But that aside, I figured they were knowledgeable, and I allowed them to recuperate him for a day. When I called back, it was suggested I put him to sleep, because they could not improve him, and his situation would (supposedly) require surgery. Small animals rarely live through surgery because of the anesthetic, they said to me, which I later found out is true. So I paid the bills for their current service, and I took him to the animal shelter, where he was then put to sleep, given how much most vets charge for such a service.I later did some research and discovered that his particular ailment was extremely common, and that any small animal vet worth his or her salt, should have a very small, very inexpensive pair of tools to take care of the problem non-surgically. It does NOT require anesthetic, my type of pet was EXCEEDINGLY common, and the procedure should be ROUTINE. In fact, it is so common and simple that I could have done it at home with a little bit of training from a reputable pet breeder who knew how to do this. This is literally the most regretful and ashamed I have ever been, in terms of taking care of a pet. Though I gave him every comfort and high quality food, a small part of it was that I didn't shop around for a knowledgeable small animal vet before I got him. But I do rest the larger part of shame on them, as they should have been able to take care of the underlying problem in about fifteen minutes. This was like going to a pediatrician, and finding out they didn't have any of the medical tools for a child... or even know how to treat one with a common ailment! Just absolutely ludicrous. If they can't be trusted to do what their website says they do, what can you trust them to do? If they want to be just another dog-and-cat dispense-pills-and-neuter-things veterinarian, they shouldn't bill themselves as a small pet hospital. The memory of this horrible fiasco in the face of the knowledge I gained afterwards often makes me want to go spray-paint their sign! Read Less
