I don't know where to start! First, the place is very clean and accessible. The staff is well above any other vet hospital I've ever used, and that's saying something! You see, I have 7 cats and 3 dogs (at the moment ). I've been using Summit for my pets for the last 10 years and have no complaints. Dr. Anderson is a great vet. She is professional and really knows her stuff. She always explains exactly what she thinks is going on with your pet but runs a minimum of tests. I have always found her to be friendly and personable as well. The practice manager, Cassidy Hubbard, is very professional while being warm and friendly . She's great at making clients feel at home. The other staff members are great, too. I've never been the least bit uncomfortable handing over one of my "kids" to any of them for treatment. Great vet, I found a stray 02-09-18 and they were able to get him in before I brought him home around my other dog, took care of him without breaking my bank, since it was an unexpected expenditure! They were very nice to now named Wookie, and he is a happy furry old blind man now! Will be back for sure. Read Less

Dr Anderson and every member of the wonderful staff here has been caring and compassionate to our senior babies giving them the best care possible. Dr Anderson gives our fur baby’s the best care of any vet I have been to and the staff takes extra time to walk me through any concerns I may of had . Unfortunately my grand fur baby and my fur baby both senior rescues had to be laid to rest and Summit was there every step of the way and even following up. Very high regard for this hospital. Summit is by far one of the best vets I've worked with. They go the extra mile every single time and without hesitation. I have gone to Summit for about 5 years now. They are wonderful, caring vets and vet techs. They take time with your animals and talk to them and pet them. We've been to several vets in the OKC area and are happy with them. Talk to them about what you need, just because a vet suggests something doesn't mean you have to do it. This is an exceptionally skilled and compassionate staff. They have performed a very successful surgery on a senior dog of mine and pulled him through without incident. We were new to OKC when we found Summit. We had just adopted a dog from the OK Humane Society that had heartworms and would need a lot of care and follow up. They were always nice and understanding and quickly recognized us by face and name during all our visits. They were great working with the Humane Society and us during her treatment (and they didn't have to be). When we had to leave town and our dog, Daisy, was still going through post heartworm treatment recovery, they even boarded her there as well as our family cat. All exams were done with us there unless she had to have a blood test or x-rays. I'm in Customer Service for health care professionals so I hold my vet to the same standard I hold my VIP clients to. The receptionist has the social skills of a 2x4. They try to sell you everything under the sun (they remind me of those people working in the middle of the mall). They try to perform tests and surgeries that, according to other vets, are unnecessary (I got a second and third opinion). I am currently searching for a different vet for my baby. Read Less

I am living in OKC because I am in the military. I use Summit Pointe Vet clinc to board my cat, Gus, when I go home to Minnesota. The place is pretty clean for an animal shelter and the workers are pretty friendly. I pay too much to have someone take care of my cat, but at least I know my pet is in good hands. The price is worth it if you have a little more cash spend on your pet. Read Less
