Warwick Animal Hospital

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
General Info
Warwick Animal Hospital in Oklahoma City orchestrates each pet interaction from initial examination scent detection to discharge verification using sensory logic and behavioral pacing techniques. Upon reaching their new environment pets begin exploring their surroundings. The process embraces scent-mapping alongside deliberate movements and selective engagement as integral components. Members of the clinical team observe the animal's responses to floor texture variations along with ceiling acoustics and vertical elements. Each visit emerges uniquely where some start with gentle palpation while others commence through visual exams or social acclimation. Pet owners receive invitations to disclose information about their pets' preferred resting spots at home alongside the specific noises their pets avoid and the altered rhythms of their mealtime routines. Warwick Animal Hospital delivers support for services such as injury evaluation immune system diagnostics muscle elasticity checks sensory aversion handling and chronic illness co-management. Examination formats undergo modification in response to detected breath cycles, freeze signals, gaze breaks, or limb withdrawal. Every examination space integrates real-time modification instruments through portable stools adjustable lighting and optional barriers to minimize visual overload. The end of care emerges not with the procedure but through decompression. Pets receive a period to adjust their senses before they depart. Behavioral pacing guides direct owners on waiting periods before stimulus reintroduction along with timing for food and touch offerings while identifying signs of emotional lag or physical soreness. Warwick Animal Hospital collaborates with pet owners from Oklahoma City and nearby Oklahoma regions to guarantee each visit phase—entry treatment recovery—aligns with animal perceptual patterns of movement space sequence.

In Response to Katherine Kelm's negative review On November 15th, Sunday, one of our clients called the emergency number saying she had found 2 pit bulls and they were in a high traffic area and she feared for the dogs safety. Although our office was closed, we made arrangements to have the dogs brought into our office. We scanned the dogs for microchips and both dogs were micro-chipped. We obtained the owners' address and the owner picked up the dogs at our hospital the following day. Mrs. Klem said that her 2 dogs were not micro-chipped which was not consistent with the 2 dogs that were brought into our hospital, nor did the pictures of her dogs resemble the dogs we had here at the hospital. The 2 dogs that were at our hospital were not Mrs. Klem's dogs. They were returned to the owner in which dogs were registered. R.C. Hope DVM. Read Less

First of all my dog has gone to Warwick Animal Hospital all of her life. She is now 8 years old. We never had a problem, but a month ago, our dog went in for grooming and came out limping. When I asked questions, I was told to bring her back in. I did. One of the receptionist (Bobbi) was extremely rude to me. Normally, she is friendly, but this time she never looked up at me to even acknowledge my presence. The doctor saw my dog, took her out of the room to closely examined her (he said that he wanted to see her walk), came back in the room to say x-rays are needed, and then concluded that her toe was not broken, however it was swollen. He prescribed something for infection and proceeded to charge me $177.00. No explanation was ever offered as to what possible injury could have happened to my dog, especially since it happened in their care. Read Less

There used to be a Vet there named Dr. Eldridge - who was excellent. However lately.. the other vets are not as good. Plus - be ready to be convinced that your dog may need extra medical care - such as x-rays and ultrasounds and blood work. The new vet was doing a random physical on my 13 y/o mixed dog - who was there for his bath and vaccines.... and discovered a possible enlarged spleen - on palpitation of his abdomen. Which we were told could be a tumor.. or something else. We were told that she recommended an X-ray -- which showed a possible enlarged spleen. And then she recommended an Ultrasound. The ultrasound showed an abnormal liver - the vet then recommends that we get blood work - which showed that our dog has elevated liver enzymes... and that he might need liver enzyme pills? Anyways the bill comes out to about $400 after this... and we don't even know what is wrong with our dog - of if there is anything that needs or can be done. I think I've spent more money on the health care of my dogs that I have for myself- most of the money has gone to Warwick. - The support staff, thankfully, is awesome and clearly are dog lovers. Both of my boys are always happy to see them. - If you use them be careful- not sure if the new vet is just out of school or likes people to spend their money for extra care. Read Less

Before today I had been satisfied with the services received at this clinic... a few years ago we took in a stray cat with a urinary tract infection. We had her treated at this clinic several times and they were great. We also had her spayed and de-clawed. We had no issues for a few years, but recently she's been having issues so I took her in to a different clinic to be tested for UTI and asked that the vet look at her paws because I was concerned. What did the vet say? MAJOR SCARRING AND DEFORMITY caused by the method used at this clinic. Thankfully, she is in no pain from this, but I will never take any of my pets back to this clinic.
