I am very happy with the doctors and staff at the clinic. I do have a problem with the lady, can’t remember her name, who makes the appointments. The last two times she called she has tried to set up a 7:30 am appointment. I told her I do not make morning appt. She told me I should consider getting up earlier to bring my dog in for her appointments. If my Maggie is sick then I would adjust my routine but not for comprehensive. I value the staffs time but I expect them to value mine. Read Less

I took over the care of an older dog from a neighbor who had to go to assisted living so decided this would be the most economical option for me as I realized this dog would not last too many more years . It was explained to me that I would need to be on the plan foron3 year. Maggie lived 3 years and I paid for the plan the entire time. Each time I took her in there were more costs in addition to the plan and when her end was inevitable and I had to put her down there was of course a cost which I expected. My plan was coming out of my credit card monthly. When I asked to cancel after her death, the Owasso store said I would need to call corporate. Corporate said that since I had only been on the plan for a few months (Benefield changed the level of care after Maggie became ill) I would need to pay full price for the services that I had recieved. Be forwarned. there is no such thing as a discounted cost of care and they will find numerous things that are wrong that are not covered under the plan. Read Less

Multiple horrible experiences. We pay for the wellness plan and they still try to charge for everything. If your pet doesn't have something visibly wrong at that time they will not treat them until doing tests first and then charge you for it. Following tests, it turns out we were right, and still had to pay. Head female vet acts clueless if you question her, has horrible communication skills, and will offer multiple prescriptions if shes "not sure" whats going on. I wouldn't even bring in a pet here to have them put down, theyre likely to fail at that also. Read Less

I wish to thank the 2, very sweet, young ladies that helped me with my dog Killer.. I was, and still am, very heart broken over her passing. They were so gentle, so kind. She went in such peace. She was around 14 yrs old. She had been my best friend for my whole adult life. My first real Dog. Killer had trouble moving, she hurt all over, she had stopped going to the bathroom almost all together. I knew that they could help but it meant to prolong her suffering... a quick fix.. not a cure. After she was asleep they gave her the meds to help her pass in peace. I was there for the entire process and she left this earth in her daddy's arms. They handled everything so gently and gave me some time with her to say goodbye. They allowed me to sneak out the back and avoid any customers. On the return of Killer's ashes, they gave her to me in a beautiful wooden box with a sweet card, a certificate of Cremation, and a letter on coping. The man at the desk was so kind as well. Giving me his condolences as he gently gave me my Killer... All said I will HAPPILY go back to this clinic again. My only regret is I didn't get any names. A week after my cat was nueterd I noticed swelling near but not at the site of the surgery. I took him in to Banfield and was told that some swelling was normal. Shortly after the visit I knoticed a small wound on my cats belly. When I took him back, the vet did not even want to look at him again but I pulled out the kitten anyway. She told me that the wound was a normal part of the cats anatomy (she said it was his urethra). The wound was not centered on his belly but was off to the right side. I still felt there was something wrong with my kitten so I took him to a different vet. That vet immediatly said there was something wrong. It ended up that he had a large abscess that had burst on one side (the wound I noticed). They had to lance the other side to further drain the abscess and they gave me antibiotics for him. Not only was the Banfield vet wrong, she was rude to me and treated me like I was stupid. I will never take my animals back to Banfield. Thier vets need to listen when an owner sees something wrong with thier pet. Read Less
