My furbaby became sick fri morning and passed away Saturday morning. My heart still hurts. However the staff were so great. Sympathetic,patient, and were really caring. Even spending time with me on the phone as I cried. Both Vets were professional. She called me ever few hours keeping me updated. She did everything to save my Biggy and in the end she made she he was comfortable and at peace. Monday when my hubby paid the bill and got Biggy they gave him a little plaster footprint. It's the last thing I have of him. It's so awesome. Words can not Express how much having my biggys footprint means. Everyone here is so thoughtful and professional. They are very personable and treat your pets with as much love as if they were their own. I love the follow up calls they make to ensure your pets are doing well. We boarded our bog at Walnut Creek, and they did a fantastic job with her. They were clean and friendly and. I have a larger dog, and she can be intimidating but they knew exactly how to handle her. She's always been jumpy about her shots, and they did it so quickly and calmly that she didn't get a chance to freak out. I was very impressed with everyone I met there. Read Less

Dr. Wright is so friendly and an excellent vet. I've been taking my dogs there since about 2009. Fahey is the nicest receptionist too. They're boarding kennels are very clean and fairly new. I wish their pick-up and drop-off hours were a little more flexible though. Overall, I'll never go to another vet. Go Pokes! Read Less

I am so grateful we found this place.  Dr. Wright and the entire staff are amazing.  We brought our dog in with breathing distress and were not sure the cause.  Dr. Wright was clear on the steps he would take, kept me informed along the way and used logical methods that kept our bill down.  In the end, he removed a bone about the size of a quarter from her throat.  The whole procedure was half of what another place quoted me (just to find out what was wrong).  Everyone I met in that place truly seemed to care about and enjoy what they do.  They have won a customer for life and I am happy to recommend them to anyone looking for the best care for their animals. I am in their office at least once a month with my dogs for either routine care or emergencies and they are always wonderful about it. Yes, their price is more expensive on some things but it is the technology that you are paying for not the ""new building"". They offer so many things that the other vets do not like OFA X-Rays, dental, pregnancy tests. You can't compare apples to oranges and that is what you are doing when you compare this facility to the older vet clinics that have limited options for their patients. The only ""bad points"" that I see with this facility is that there is no after hour option for care other than to go to Norman (which is understandable because the vets here have families and need a life as well) and the price. However, again, you have to realize that you are paying for technology that most other vets in the area do not have. Having said that, they are always really good to work with you and let you pay it out if it is something that is NECESSARY for your pet. These guys really care about the animals that they treat. This veterinarian used to be wonderful. He was friendly and he acted like he cared about the animals. That was BEFORE the other vet in town retired, leaving Dr. W. with a monopoly on the business. In this community of mostly low income and retired persons, Dr. W. used to be fairly reasonable. Now, he overcharges (in order to pay for his new building). He knows that he can charge whatever he wants because high gas prices prevent the residents from traveling elsewhere. If you have an animal emergency, good luck with that, because you'll have to drive to Oklahoma City. Read Less
