My Mare of about the age of 25-30... Had a wad of hay lodged in her esophagus, my regular vet would not come out on a Saturday evening Dr Matz came after a long line of farm calls... it was dark and cold, she strapped her lights on and got busy... She tried hard, couldn't get it, it was lodged too tight...helped me unload horse trailer, I took Mama into the hospital, Dr Matz and Dr Metcalf... worked for hours, Dr Metcalf used a tool he thought about that was working... strand by stand it was coming out, stopped about midnight. Dr Matz, and Dr Metcalf Started the next day (Sunday).... (Worst choking case they had seen). Worked for, I think, about 3 hours... Got It Out!!! Yaaaay! I was so relieved! They went above and beyond! Did what I wanted because I was so determined to give her every chance to survive that was possible. The whole staff cared for her like she was theirs... I'm sad to say she didn't make it. They even cut mane and tail off for me, when I went in to say by. I could not be more pleased with the whole staff... they were knowable, professional, personable, passionate And went above and beyond. God Bless all of them, they work tirelessly... Will use them in the future...as long as I have horses... I have three more... Blessings to all! Ardell Greenwood

Amazing staff! Personable and knowledgeable. This team has been there for us for over 8 years now and I can't imagine trusting our animals to anyone else. From emergency tube feed / care on a 6 hour old baby goat, race track requirements, teeth floating or even having to say goodbye to lifelong partners - Dr. White, Dr. Matz, Mo, Sabrina and the entire crew are there for you. Thanks will never be enough!

Took a group of students to visit from Community Care College Veterinary Assisting program and the staff and doctors there are great! Students where given a tour of entire facility and had opportunities to ask questions and visit with staff about everything equine. When clients arrived, the doctors and staff got permission from owners that the students could watch procedures being performed in the clinic, and everyone had a great time. Very professional and great place to take any horse in need of routine care or emergency. They are prepared for anything at this facility. So great to know that we have this type of facility for Tulsa and the surrounding areas.

I love this vet office! Jody, the gal that answers the phone is so sweet and helpful and very knowledgeable! Dr. Sloan is who was sent to my house for an emergency and he did a wonderful job. He's irreplaceable. He knows what he's doing and has no problem explaining everything and how it works and why we're going to do what we do. I love to be hands on when my vet is there and he was wonderful with that. They are reasonably priced, not expensive at all. which helps all of us horse poor people! They truly care about the horses and it shows. thanks so much guys!! :D

Our 12 year old Pony contracted a nasty virus which nearly ended her life. Dr. Matz and her team expertly nursed Ginger back to health over a three week period and she is well on her way to a full recovery. I spent much time at SEH during that 3 weeks. The staff was compassionate, professional and handled our case beautifully. So grateful for this happy ending.

On Oct.26 we had to put down our horse Sassy, sometime during the nite she had broken her leg,I called the Sapulpa Equine Hospital for a vet to come out,he was there within an hour of our call, greatly reducing the time Sassy had to be in pain, all the staff I delt with were very helpful and kind, I received a letter today in the mail that the vet made a donation in Sassys name to a charity that helps horse owners with necessitys in times of need, all the staff at the hospital from the vets the techs and office staff are the best. A VERY BIG THANK YOU FROM THE YOUNG FAMILY.

I Love this Vet Service! For 15 years they have taken care of my horses and gone above and beyond to ensure their well being. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and is continually staying on top of new medicines and procedures. Everyone associated with the clinic is committed to compassionate, professional, excellent care for each horse they see. Dr. White, the senior vet at Sapulpa Equine, was voted Oklahoma Top Equine Veterinarian for 2010. Their prices are competitive with other veterinarians in the area and they offer 24 hour emergency service. Whether you need routine vaccinations, or extensive treatment for your horse, Sapulpa Equine Hospital is the place to call!
I noticed another review that is not favorable and mentions a specific Veterinarian. Please note that vet is no longer with Sapulpa Equine, and consider the other review is from a single time user. They have helped me with my horses for years with no negative experience.

You may get your horse well again by taking it here, but what price are you going to pay? The service I ran into here was horrible for emergencies. The practice is under-staffed, high-priced, and apathetic to customers' needs. They also charged me for multiple and expensive tests which were unnecessary for the horse's symptoms which were all performed without prior authorization! There was no consulting and no contact. Any other vet may have charged $300 for what this hospital charged $1200. STAY AWAY. I only recommend for serious surgeries and the like. Diagnose your horse someplace cheaper and use this place as a last resort!
I would also like to add to not request Dr. Wallace. She is cold and defensive over the phone and is just a gold-digger. She didn't like being questioned and cuts conversation short. Not a nice person to deal with and I will never use her again. Just a heartless person with no social skills.

I love this vet office! Jody, the gal that answers the phone is so sweet and helpful and very knowledgeable! Dr. Sloan is who was sent to my house for an emergency and he did a wonderful job. He's irreplaceable. He knows what he's doing and has no problem explaining everything and how it works and why we're going to do what we do. I love to be hands on when my vet is there and he was wonderful with that. They are reasonably priced, not expensive at all. which helps all of us horse poor people! Our 12 year old Pony contracted a nasty virus which nearly ended her life. Dr. Matz and her team expertly nursed Ginger back to health over a three week period and she is well on her way to a full recovery. I spent much time at SEH during that 3 weeks. The practice is under-staffed, high-priced, and apathetic to customers' needs.
