I came with my roommate to take her dog to get shots/checked out and everyone there is super kind. We got lost so we called them for help but they were not irritated or impatient at all. They were gentle and kind to her puppy who seemed to enjoy the entire experience because the workers were genuinely loving on not just my roommates dog but others and interested in taking good care of him. The place is clean as well as their bathroom that is located in the back of the building. If I had my own pet this is where I would bring them. Read Less

My dog is usually very nervous around new people, especially men. He was very calm and didnt put up as much of a fight as I thought he would. The vet was very patient and gentle. This is the greatest vet you will ever go to. Ever. All of the employees are so sweet. Their empathy is glorious, they know how to treat people and their pets, they're warm and inviting and make you feel like you're home. The building is always so clean, smells good, and is just a calming atmosphere that makes you feel safe and you know your animals are in good hands. I have two Clinic's close by one being less than 2 miles from my home, the other I pass right by on my way to Northside. Absolutely amazing place!! There is not another vet I will use, Northside is the only hospital we trust with my fur babies. Dr. Keith is amazing and caring. We adopted a kitten that ended up having health issues. Dr. Keith and her assistants were always so caring and quick to care for our cat, over the years they all knew if I called needing to see Dr. Keith, they got me in asap. And we usually received a follow up call to check on our baby. Dr. Trussel performed emergency surgery on my pup that was not yet a year old because her intestines flipped a full 360 degrees. Best vet we have ever used! I have had pets my whole life and Northside has been the easiest and friendliest one we have ever used. They are knowledgeable, friendly and honest. I really feel like they have my dogs best interest at heart. They are prompt if you schedule an appointment with them and I can normally go on my lunch break. I also use their groomers too and they are awesome! It is so affordable and my dogs can even get their vaccines when they're getting bathed to save me a trip. I highly recommend them to anyone! This hospital is fantastic. From the front desk staff to the Veterinary Technicians to the groomers to the Veterinarians, every single person there cared for my injured dog as if he was their own. This is the 2nd time this hospital has done emergency care for my dogs. Both times there were no questions asked about getting my dog in immediately. Between my 15 year old Kippy dog going into renal failure (three day hydration therapy) and then my two year old Pearl cat contracting "Bobcat fever", it's been a hell-ish couple of weeks for us. Northside Vet doctors and staff were there with us every step of the way. Kippy made it and is doing wonderful! My darling Pearl did not survive. Please know that bobcat fever comes on fast and is nearly always fatal, and the tick preventatives you put on your cat does not stop this disease. Will never go back to the place again! My dog was attacked by coyotes & we took him here where he recovered and returned home. He was doing great, placed on SMZ/TMP. We gave him Epsom salt baths everyday and kept all the wounds very clean. He stayed inside. After 13 days of healing very good he began non-stop vomiting, diarrhea, depressed, and very lethargic. He was brought in after a day of not eating or being able to keep any food down, his gums were even white.. They said they ran blood tests & told us he was fine and sent us home with nausea medicine, more SMZ/TMP, and something to help with stomach acid. The next day he had thrown up so much over night he was very unresponsive, we tried loading him into the car to bring him to the nearest vet & he had a seizure and threw up & died on the way to the vet. Very careless & upsetting that he was not placed on fluids to gain hydration.. He suffered a great deal. Will NEVER bring another animal here. He also had a necropsy, and was NOT septic.. Bottom line I always leave this place with more questions than answers.Read Less

GREAT GROOMING! I just picked up our English Cocker Spaniel, Henry! He looks FABulous! Jessica groomed him exactly as requested. The grooming area was calm and quiet and clean. He was very happy and she said he did great. Each staff member, on the grooming side as well as the vet side, treated us kindly and respectfully.
