I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place and the whole staff! Dr. Reed was very friendly and informative about every step of my dog's visits. I really appreciate that she took the time to explain everything I needed to know and answer any questions I had. Katie, one of the vet techs, is so wonderful. She took great care of my dog before, during, and after she had her teeth cleaned and some teeth removed. She thoroughly explained what to expect in the following weeks of my dog's recovery and made sure all of my questions were answered. We've used 15th Street Vet for years. However, recently we had a 6 year old Chihuahua that became gravely ill. While in retrospect I feel like I might have been given some false hope about recovery, that is not why I'm writing. Ultimately, after being transferred to the Animal Emergency Center, my precious pup had to be euthanized. I contacted 15th Street to let them know and ask them to please send us the bill for their services to her. A few days later, I received a sympathy card in the mail from them. Only the card was for our black lab who had passed away nearly 10 years ago. My heart sank. How could you confuse a chihuahua that passed this week with a Labrador Retriever that passed away long ago? The next week, one of our other dogs was due for 4 month vaccinations. At the appointment we inquired about when we could expect her to start losing her primary teeth. The vet looked in her mouth and told us that all of her front teeth were already permanent. Literally TWO days later, four of her permanent front teeth erupted behind the primary teeth. I have lost confidence in this clinic. Read Less

15th Street was recommended to me by another vet, she specializes, and they are the best. You can tell they care and are very good at explaining their treatment. My dog has seizures and they took the time to hear our questions and go over what we can expect. Plus I love their walk in only policy. Wow, not very often do I take time to type a review but I'm extremely pleased with 15th St Vet Group. I was greeted with a smile and by name as soon as I walked in for my 7am appt. Not only mine but my kitten Dexter. I just loved the personal touch. Really I have never been to a place for the first time and felt welcomed to the point I knew them for years. Over the months now of taking my new cat Dexter to the vet for shots and checkups 15th Street has been very informative, knowledgeable, & helpful. It is a couple miles from work and pick up is quick and easy so convenience is a must for me!! I love the fact any time I have questions on a product to use for my pets, I can easily call them to find out the do's and dont's. They have saved me tons of money on "advertisement" products that aren't good for my precious animals. Again I am a woman of two cats, two dogs, and a chameleon.. I had used this vet for several years. The doctor is quite nice. However, on my most recent (and final) visit, My pet was subjected to abuse and i was treated rudely by the vet tech. After I was treated rudely, I advised the dvm, who decided to stand by his vet tech, despite what was obviously a lack of ability to do her job, and an unwillingness to admit that she might have borne some responsibility for the poor service I received. I will never return to this vet. They're more concerned with blaming their patients and customers than providing quality care to your pets. Read Less

Great place ! Bella loves going there and they do their best to keep my best friend healthy without breaking me in the process. I couldn't believe the review by the person in human health care. I have been going here since it was known as the Hohman Veterinary Hospital. They have always shown exemplary skill, compassion and a willingness to do that little bit extra. Had a full physical done on my 11 year old buddy including blood work and all his shots plus had his nails clipped. Total bill was $118 and we were done in a little over thirty minutes plus they called with his blood work results 3 hours later. This same visit was over $400 last year in Overland Park and the blood work was delivered a day or so later. WE received great service from people who love animals. After a misdiagnosis from another vet (long story) Dr Miller properly recognized the symptoms and administered the correct treatment just in time. They saved my dogs life and didn't try to charge me mine, the price was more than fair. Highly recommended! Read Less
