I worked there for only a hour in a half for a work interview the kennel manger did not clean her mess up she cleaned the kennels with a water hose there's no drain or anything she didn't clean it up till I slipped and fell on my back now my body hurt I have a headache everyday and have big brusie on my arm I was very disappointed they let me go cause I fell and leaning cause my hurt after I fell Read Less

This vet is amazing. Not only are they knowledgeable and friendly, they are extremely honest. When one of my dogs accidentally ate something he shouldn't have, other vets I called tried to gouge me and told me I would have to pay for tons of treatment that turned out to not be necessary for the dose they took. I love Dr. Mary Gardner and have no complaints at all about Alta Vista. My dog loves her too and is on his best behavior around her. She has such a calming affect on him. All the staff members are super helpful and always going out of their way to make sure we are happy. I would recommend Alta Vista to anyone.Read Less

Alta Vista is by far the best place in Tulsa to take your pet. Dr.McQueen and her staff go above and beyond making sure my best pal is in top shape. Being a dog parent to a dog with SEVERE allergies,they are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with any questions or concerns we may have. We are regulars there and I can't count how many times I have called Alta Vista at the last minute with a question or request to see us- they always makes time for our pup and will even stay after hours to accommodate. Whenever I ask our sweet pup if "he's ready to go see Dr. McQueen" his tail goes crazy and he rushes inside to see her, full of excitement. I couldn't imagine taking him anywhere else. I will NEVER use the Veterinary Clinic again not to mention every time I go here the price goes up..Last month I had my dog fixed here went ahead with extra precautionary blood work that I was guilted into..Well today I go in to pickup flea drops they won't let me have the flea drops the clinc won't let me have the flea drops until my 3 year old Pom has additional blood work...I just had blood work done last month...I've given you several chances NEVER!!!! NEVER!!!! NEVER!!!..take your dog here not to mention last year when I had her shots my dog was in excruciating pain I then had to go back to get her pain meds after her shots.... Read Less

WARNING!!!! DO NOT USE ALTA VISTA ANIMAL HOSPITAL on 21st by Memorial in Tulsa. When I picked up my two huskies today from having them boarded there while I was away on vacation, they had vaccinated my male husky without my permission and even with having documentation on file to show where he was updated on his shots back in June, they still vaccinated him. When I ask for a copy of the record, the veterinarian refused to give me a copy showing were they vaccinated my dog for a second time in less than 6 month unless I paid for the services which was $150 and then told me that he, Dr. Ben Gardner, erased the record (all evidence) from their computer system as if it never happened, more than likely to protect his wife, Dr. Mary Gardner, who administered the vaccinations in case something happen to my dog. When I dropped my pets off last Saturday, October 4th, I specifically told the clinic to contact me if they had to do anything to my dogs and confirmed with them before I left the dogs that they were both up-to-date on all their shots. I did not have to pay the charge of the vaccinations but was very upset and unease by the veterinarian's excuse as to how they made the mistake because they got confused when reading the record I provided as proof of vaccinations from a different veterinary clinic in town. I understand mistakes happen but a mistake that could have put my pets life in jeopardy because you cant read a record from another veterinary clinic because everybody doesnt use the same record system as you is alarming and then to have the audacity to try and cover the mistake up by erasing your records and refusing to give me a copy without paying the $150 charge is absolutely absurd. The only reason I used this place is the location is very close to my house and their boarding services are cheaper than the veterinary clinic who originally vaccinated my male husky, which as precautionary measures I called to make sure my husky would be okay because of Alta Vistas mistake. I will never utilize this clinic for any of their services in the future and would highly advise other pet parents who currently use this clinic to be extremely cautious. Read Less

This place is amazing! We adopted a dog who we thought only had some hip problems with no surgery required. Come to find out he had a blown knee and it needed surgery. Dr. Gardner was very kind and explained all the different surgeries to us and we felt that we made the correct one with all of the information provided. Bro is doing amazing and has been home for 2 weeks now since the surgery. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!! I would give 10 stars if I could!! Thank you for all you guys do! :D Read Less
