The Animal Eye Clinic in Tulsa constructs its veterinary services based on the rhythmic patterns of animal behavior. Each minor motion and stillness along with every gaze alteration gets analyzed pre-exam—this rhythm-based approach transforms medical care throughout Oklahoma. The session starts with spatial reading where observers note how pets anchor their weight alongside the frequency of their eye movements and the stability or hesitation in their tail motion. Staff use readings to position themselves through diagonal stances when direct approaches cause tension and employ pauses instead of vocal cues for animals displaying over-attunement. The initial tools remain stationary within the pet's view to help them visually acclimate their surroundings before engagement starts. Animal Eye Clinic delivers a multifaceted approach through integrative diagnostics alongside surgical consultations, pain monitoring systems, sensory response treatments, and structured mobility rehabilitation programs. Every treatment modifies itself during application time. When a pet adopts a flattened posture or shifts its gaze the session returns to anchoring techniques which may involve patterned movements or rhythmic steps to regain calm. Owners obtain aftercare plans which focus on visual and tactile pacing techniques including side arc hand extensions, movement contrast addition, and routine reentry guidance through visual anchors. The post-visit behavior remains stable without unnecessary spikes while home care routines maintain their usual steadiness. Animal Eye Clinic provides Tulsa families and Oklahoma pet owners with a healthcare experience that transcends traditional methods through its use of silent communication techniques and adaptive interaction rhythms.
Dr. Gwin is a wonderful, caring doctor. He and his staff are all very kind, answering any questions and providing excellent care for our dog before and after surgery.

We were out of hope for our poor shelter kitten that we nursed back to health, but she still couldn't see. Dr and staff both put us at ease and gave it to me straight about what could be done for little Missandei. Put us at ease. Couldn't be happier. Extremely competent and still manages to be a sweet, caring Doctor. Outstanding! Read Less

My veterinarian said my dog would lose her eye if the medication she gave us didn't work. I wasn't going to let her take my girls eye out without a second opinion. I found Dr Gwinn on the internet. His office was 2 hours away but I wasn't going to let that stop me from getting a second opinion. We brought her in and Dr Gwinn took a look at her and did a few things to her eye while we were there and gave us some meds and sent us home. We took her back a few more times for follow up visits. He saved her eye on our first visit. I suggest going to him before you remove your animals eye. I am so grateful for finding him. Read Less

Dr. Gwin and his staff are absolutely the best - he removed cataracts from one eye of our Cocker Spaniel, and treating for glaucoma in the other. After several follow up visits we have him on a treatment schedule of daily drops that seems to be working well. It has made a tremendous difference in his quality of life (ours too!), and Dr. Gwin and all the staff are caring, helpful and incredibly dedicated to what they do. Read Less

Had a Melanoma in my dogs left eye. Local vet suggested we wait to see if it would spread and "only" fix was to remove entire eye.
Dr. Gwin looked at it and within 5 min. told me it was a Limbus Melanoma and that 97% of the time if you only remove the growth, the eye is cured and can be saved.
Surgery went off without a hitch and I am happy to say, my dog Trudy has recovered and is a much happier Pooch.
Talking about this with a co-worker, I found out that Dr Gwin was looking after his cat. He has been going to Dr Gwin for about 15 years and would highly recommend Dr. Gwin.
Looking on Google, I noticed that no one has written a review. Since my experience was excellent along with my co-workers, I decided to write this review. Keep in mind he is an eye specialist and therefore limits his scope to eyes only. Read Less
