Every one of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the very first call. When I called around Noon on Saturday afternoon about getting a same-day appointment, if possible, the receptionist was VERY accommodating and said they were pretty booked but could squeeze me in at 3 although there may be a bit of a wait. We got there just before 3 and were shown to a room in probably 15 minutes or less. My dog was at ease with the tech staff and the vet and I loved how excited and loving they were to my dog! The vet and her tech even sat down in the floor while examining her and they were so calm and friendly to her while being understanding with us and taking the time to explain everything. The "bedside manner" was incredible! Definitely a 5 Star visit and we look forward to transferring our business to them exclusively.

Be very careful with this place. Yes their reception area is nice and the doctors are knowledgeable but their business practices could use a little tune up. We love Dr. Vanderhoof and enjoyed working with her. The business owner isn't in tune with the business end of operating a vet office. On multiple occasions I was charged for services I did not ask for nor did anyone call me to tell me they were either required or recommended. Every time I asked for an explanation all I got was an excuse. Once again the medical services were good but the business side and practice of this establishment needs to be improved.
The paperwork I signed stated you would call me if and before anything that cost extra money was performed. The young man that took our dog back into surgery went over the paperwork specifically with us. He never mentioned anything about anything having to be done. He showed us what was recommended. We said NO to everything except what we specifically asked for. Again this is not the first time, nor the second time, but the third time we were given extra services and charged for extra services that we did not ask for. This is not about the care or health of my animals. This is about your business practice of performing extra services that were not requested or receiving prior permission from me first. The medical care at your facility is fine. I would trust my animals with your staff and your doctors. What upsets me is that I believe you are in this for $$$$. Communication is key. How do I say this but to say it bluntly. DON'T charge a customer for something they did not ask for or for anything they do not specifically give you permission to do.

We took our little puppy for the first time a few weeks ago. This vet office is spectacular! I was impressed with their lobby and how clean it was! It didn't smell like a vet clinic! The staff was so nice and Dr. Thomas is the best! Their prices aren't bad and I do love that they're open a little later so that I can go after work. I also like that they're open on Saturday's all day! I highly recommend this vet office!

The doctors and staff and AMSH are so friendly and loving toward our pets. They have always made themselves available when a pet was sick or when we needed to try and get a wellness appointment made. Avery friendly. Caring and excellent doctors. They treat for injuries, regular check ups, they board our pets and actually bond with them. They go out of their way to find the cheapest medicines (one was going to be $200.00 for 4 oz.!) but they found a $10.00 solution to the problem. They listen to you and they genuinely love what they do. The staff get to bring their pets to work with them!

I had always heard that it was expensive to take your pet here. I found that not to be true at all. Actually, I was surprised at the cost. It was very reasonable and fair. I took my dog in at night. The entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable and expressed genuine concern for my dog. The facility is really nice, clean and comfortable. They sent all information to my regular veterinarian. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We love AMSH. If it's going in for an appointment or boarding our furry family member we are always welcome with a smile and a professional staff. Our Dr and her assistant are excellent with our puppy and she is well cared for. The boarding is wonderful. We bring her toys and blanket along with her favorite treats. And we know when she's there she's loved like their own. Thank you AMSH!

A college friend of my daughter's interned for AMSH a few years ago while applying to vet school herself. We had always taken our pets to Southern Ag for their budget friendly vaccination and general health services. As one of our beloved pets was suspected to have a major health concern, we started using AMSH for all our needs. The care and knowledge of the entire staff as impressed us. And much to our surprise, their cost of services are very competitive. I would recommend them over and over again.

I cannot recommend AMSH highly enough! Everybody on their staff, from their 3 veterinarians, to the kennel staff, office staff, and nurses, are amazingly caring. My kitty has stressful chronic conditions, including kidney issues, and I feel certain neither of us would be surviving without the attentive medical care and outstanding kindness shown toward us every day. The staff will love your pet dearly and you can always trust that you are in good hands. They are AMAZING!!

I love the staff and doctors here at Animal Medical Surgical Hospital. They are so knowledgeable, professional, and so very kind. I love bringing my Fiona to them because I know she will receive exceptional medical care and they will treat her like she's theirs. From puppy day care and boarding to all her medical care, I love this facility and so does my sweet puppy. I love that when I pull up to the door she can't wait to go in and see all of her friends.

I'm not big on yelp reviews but this is one that I'm passionate about. To get started, I'm from Dallas, TX. My parents, who live in Tulsa have been taking their dogs to Dr. Danner for years which is how I heard about them. I adopted a Samoyed mix and after 4 months received devastating news from a top ranked vet in Dallas that she had kidney failure. It was hard to believe as she was only 3-4 years old and after over $1,500 in testing I decided I needed a second opinion. Dr. Pheffer was the doctor that we were assigned to and I'm forever thankful. She discounted my dogs death sentence and although I had to travel to Tulsa for the next several months for treatment it was 100% worth it! My babe is totally cured now from her infection and her kidneys are 100% back to normal. I needed an experienced, caring, and devoted veterinarian and to this day I will continue coming here rather than any other vet. To top it off my cat had ear mites and after two misdiagnoses of allergies (from two other vets in Texas) Dr. Danner cured him in one visit. Don't take your lets anywhere else!!

I recently called AMSH about my daughter's elderly female kitty, Venus, who was not feeling well while I was taking care of her.
They were quick to get her in and I was happy to learn that Dr. Dan Danner was still there and would be taking care of her. Dr. Dan had taken care of our dogs back in the 80's and 90's and, besides his expertise, he is so kind and compassionate as are all of the staff at AMSH.
By the next day, Venus was feeling like a teenager again and acting like one too!! (Just as Dr. Dan had said "she will be much better by tomorrow".)
A big shout out to everyone there!!

The entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable and expressed genuine concern for my dog. The facility is really nice, clean and comfortable. They sent all information to my regular veterinarian. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We love AMSH. If it's going in for an appointment or boarding our furry family member we are always welcome with a smile and a professional staff. Our Dr and her assistant are excellent with our puppy and she is well cared for. The boarding is wonderful. We bring her toys and blanket along with her favorite treats. And we know when she's there she's loved like their own. Thank you AMSH!

A college friend of my daughter's interned for AMSH a few years ago while applying to vet school herself. We had always taken our pets to Southern Ag for their budget friendly vaccination and general health services. As one of our beloved pets was suspected to have a major health concern, we started using AMSH for all our needs. The care and knowledge of the entire staff as impressed us. And much to our surprise, their cost of services are very competitive. I would recommend them over and over again.

Dr Vanderhoof and the rest of the staff are amazing! You can tell that they actually care and this is more than just a job for them. They also always pay Mr Boogie plenty of attention which he loves. Dr Vanderhoof is awesome, she takes the time to answer all of my questions and it shows that she cares about her patients, even us human ones. ; ) I am so glad that I found AMSH, I feel that my little guy is in great hands and it really puts my mind at ease.

I cannot recommend AMSH highly enough! Everybody on their staff, from their 3 veterinarians, to the kennel staff, office staff, and nurses, are amazingly caring. My kitty has stressful chronic conditions, including kidney issues, and I feel certain neither of us would be surviving without the attentive medical care and outstanding kindness shown toward us every day. The staff will love your pet dearly and you can always trust that you are in good hands. They are AMAZING!!

I love the staff and doctors here at Animal Medical Surgical Hospital. They are so knowledgeable, professional, and so very kind. I love bringing my Fiona to them because I know she will receive exceptional medical care and they will treat her like she's theirs. From puppy day care and boarding to all her medical care, I love this facility and so does my sweet puppy. I love that when I pull up to the door she can't wait to go in and see all of her friends.

I'm not big on yelp reviews but this is one that I'm passionate about. To get started, I'm from Dallas, TX. My parents, who live in Tulsa have been taking their dogs to Dr. Danner for years which is how I heard about them. I adopted a Samoyed mix and after 4 months received devastating news from a top ranked vet in Dallas that she had kidney failure. It was hard to believe as she was only 3-4 years old and after over $1,500 in testing I decided I needed a second opinion. Dr. Pheffer was the doctor that we were assigned to and I'm forever thankful. She discounted my dogs death sentence and although I had to travel to Tulsa for the next several months for treatment it was 100% worth it! My babe is totally cured now from her infection and her kidneys are 100% back to normal. I needed an experienced, caring, and devoted veterinarian and to this day I will continue coming here rather than any other vet. To top it off my cat had ear mites and after two misdiagnoses of allergies (from two other vets in Texas) Dr. Danner cured him in one visit. Don't take your lets anywhere else!!

I recently called AMSH about my daughter's elderly female kitty, Venus, who was not feeling well while I was taking care of her.
They were quick to get her in and I was happy to learn that Dr. Dan Danner was still there and would be taking care of her. Dr. Dan had taken care of our dogs back in the 80's and 90's and, besides his expertise, he is so kind and compassionate as are all of the staff at AMSH.
By the next day, Venus was feeling like a teenager again and acting like one too!! (Just as Dr. Dan had said "she will be much better by tomorrow".)
A big shout out to everyone there!!
