Dr. Stevens & Lori are amazing! They are very caring & personable. My cat is always taken care of very well when I need to board her. When she's sick, he will inform me of what's going on and possible treatments. I would very highly recommend this vet if you are looking. Read Less

If you are looking for a Veterinarian I VERY HIGHLY recommend Dr. Steven's at Brookside Animal Hospital. He has been my vet since the beginning of me getting pets. These last few weeks have been quite a headache with my kitty Chester, but I wouldn't want anyone else working on him. Dr. Steven's didn't leave any blind areas, he took the extra time to fully explain every situation, he never tried to tag things along or make things go further for his benefit, or add random charges on my bill. I got a very detailed phone call every day that Chester was there, and before any extra work was done. His lovely wife, Chris, who is also the Vet Tech there took the time to pray with me, and help me feel better. Chester was so loved, and treated so nicely. He actually preffered to be loved/cuddled by Mrs. Steven's when I went to visit him, and honestly that says a lot. Chester had been poked, pricked, and pulled in every direction by them; but he felt so safe and comfortable there. Dr. Steven's did everything he could to work with my budget. Chester is fully recovered from his Obstruction to his Asthma. I couldn't thank God more for putting Chester in their hands. I'm very happy and satisfied with everything this Hospital has done for me. Mr. & Mrs. Steven's did all the big and little things just to help my Chester and I. Seriously, go take your pet to Brookside Animal Hospital. You won't regret the decision, and you will appreciate the treatment your pets get. They truely love Animals, and their work shows it. *I also have another cat, and dog who are treated by them. I love this place. Dr. Stevens is a GREAT veterinarian. He will walk you through any test, procedure etc.....that they will be performing on your pet. He doesn't run a bunch of unnecessary tests. He is extremely intelligent and always makes sure you understand your pets treatment plan. I won't take my dogs anywhere else. He's fantastic at his job. And his vet tech Lori is FANTASTIC! I love Dr. S & Lori and so do my dogs! I used a vet closer to my house before them but switched when a missed diagnosis almost killed my 7 month old blue heeler. I've always been very pleased with how knowledgeable Dr. Stephens is and how much they seem to care about my fur kids. I can't imagine using any other vet! Read Less

I wish I had seen this office years ago! I pass it on my daily commute and decided to stop in when we adopted two puppies. The staff here is so nice, they and the Doctor are extremely informative; their prices are amazing too! I will certainly refer my friends here and feel confident that my new rescues are in really great hands. I think it's time to bring over my old girls from our other office. Regarding a review below about the cost of saying farewell to a family member- I've frequented a few veterinary offices over the last few decades and worked in another. In my experience there isn't an office out there that can do it at no cost. As regrettable as it maybe- the office certainly didn't do that to be malicious or nickle and dime the customer. :)Read Less

There is no other vet that I trust more than the veterinarians at Brookside. I've always taken my cats to them, and have gone to just about every Vet they have working there. They are extremely knowledgeable, have all the best treatments & technologies, and are truly caring lovely wonderful people. A year ago I adopted a kitten here, my 18 year old cat had passed away a couple of months before and I needed a companion for my 8 year old cat Sam. Shortly after adopting the kitten, Sam becamed very ill and I took him to a cat hospital and clinic and spent over $800 and Sam just wasn't getting any better, so I remembered how nice everyone was when I adopted the kitten and I took Sam there, 2 visits and he was well and has never been better. I just got my yearly check up card for both of the cats and made my appointment. They will tell you up front what the costs are and not pull any surprises on you.
