Great Doctor! Be prepared to be part of the process when you take your pet in there! Dr Poteet doesn’t talk a lot, but you can tell he’s full of knowledge. He just does what needs to be done, and is straight to the point. You have to ask questions, because he’s so busy that if you don’t ask, he probably figures you already know the answer. Cedarwood has been my primary vet clinic for a few years now. These guys are the best. Not only are they experienced and competent, but they are warm, caring, and very happy to educate. I always like to know as much as I can about our pets' medical problems, and they'll explain everything! They make you feel like they have all the time in the world for you, so you always feel reassured and confident about aftercare when you leave. They even pulled out visual aids to explain luxated patellas to me (slipped kneecaps.) I never leave there with questions, and I never feel like I got ripped off. They even did emergency surgery on my Pomeranian on a Friday night and saved her life (for an incredibly reasonable price.) I can't say enough nice things. Yes, plan to wait. Sometimes for quite a while. Bring a book, don't make plans for later. Also, same day appointments are hard to come by. And wear layers because their exam rooms are always warm. But it's worth it. When I think about all of the seriously negative vet experiences I've had, these minor inconveniences are things I don't even think about anymore. I've never had a better experience anywhere. And their prices are very reasonable. I usually pay less than what I expected to. As long as we live in Tulsa, these guys will always be our first choice. I've gotten plenty of bad news, but I always leave there feeling like it's going to be ok. Read Less

I have used this veterinary clinic for over 10 years, ever since I moved into the neighborhood, and I would never change. The veterinarians, Dr. Wendy and Dr. Poteet have made fast, accurate and sometimes difficult diagnoses of my pets's health problems, and they have always provided expert and caring treatments. I will always be grateful to Dr. Wendy for saving my cat's life while he was in a very critical state. The entire staff is caring and friendly to both animal patients and human parents.
