Dr Johnson is the best. We had to send our Maggie to her final resting place because of a terminal illness. We knew it was time and Dr. Johnson worked us in. She was patient with us and we sat and talked until we were ready to move forward. Never felt rushed. You have to love this woman. You just knew she could feel our feelings. Very empathetic. We have lost our Maggie, but could never have had a better caring Vet. to help us say goodbye. I would give 10 stars if possible.

Paws down, this vet clinic is absolutely PHENOMENAL. We have been coming here for about 2 years now and I cannot believe we ever went anywhere else. The clinic itself is inviting, clean, and the vibes there really let you know that this is a place that LOVES animals. The staff are the kindest, especially Haley, and they really know their stuff! Pricing is affordable too from baths to boarding.They always make me feel like I am a valued customer and they take great care of our fur babies. We recently had to let one of our little girls go, and the staff at Hammond truly went the extra mile comforting us and making us aware of every single step in the process so that we weren’t wondering and confused. There is no amount of sympathy in the world that can ease the devastation of losing a beloved pet, but the people at Hammond sure make it more bearable. I honestly cannot find enough words to express how wonderful Hammond is, all I can say is that if you are looking for the best pet care in Tulsa and a place that will love your four legged babies as their own, look no further!!! We love you Hammond Animal Hospital!!!

Dr. Johnson is amazing; super friendly and very knowledgeable! The staff are so great and willing to answer any and all questions. A lot of times it seems pets are terrified of going to the vet but my two labs actually love to go and see everyone up there. It’s always nice to know that they’re very willing to take the time to talk with you about concerns and do a very thorough check up of your fur kids. I live pretty far from their office but it’s so worth the trip because I know they love and care about my pets as much as I do. I’d recommend anyone to go here whether it be for the unexpected surgery or regular check ups.

The veterinarian techs are cheerful and comforting to animals. The veterinarian was thorough and educational. One well kept secret is that they have boarding services here. They have large indoor pens that are clean.....no overwhelming smell! Dogs are taken to the play yard several times daily. Ask for a tour. They don't mind and it will make you feel more comfortable about leaving your beloved pet there. Boarding services are very reasonable for the Tulsa area.

Yesterday I had to have my 22 year old Kitty euthanized. I called early and the girls had me bring him straight in. Everything went as well as can be expected. Both Max and I were treated with kindness and respect. I am very grateful that the procedure was painless for Max. I will miss him. Thanks to everyone who helped Max, and me through a very tough day.

Ever since I got my rescue pup Penny in 2011, Hammond Animal Hospital has been amazing to work with each and every time I need boarding or a vet visit. They treat my dog like family, keep me updated on her health, and always make me feel like I am leaving her in safe hands. If your pet is sick and you don't know what's wrong, the vets here won't either. My wife brought our cat in because he quit eating and drinking. He's very lethargic. The minute the vet walked in the room he sounded like a used car salesman trying to pitch every procedure and medication under the sun. The vet did a blood test and said he thinks it's a urinary tract infection. In what reality does a blood test tell you that?? So he administered an antibiotic shot and collected $260. 24 hours later our cat is worse. Won't even lift his head. We're force feeding him now with a syringe. If he doesn't get better by Monday, we're going to have to put him to sleep. We can't afford to pay vets hundreds or thousands to try different ideas. This place only wants your money. Beware!

Dr.Johnson, Jill and the rest of the staff of Hammond are excellent. Dr. Johnson diagnosed our Baxter with congestive heart failure around 6 months ago. She was there every step of the way, trying everything she could to keep his condition from deteriorating, making sure his quality of life was good. When his condition deteriorated and the time came when we had to make the decision to put him down, Dr. Johnson was the one who did it. I am extremely grateful to everyone for being with us, to talk to us when we had questions, listen to us when we cried, and be there at the end to reassure us it was indeed a correct decision to make. Our other dog Barkley goes to Hammond also and any other dogs we may get will as well. Thank you everyone.

What a great place... After taking my pet to another Vet, shall I say I have not been impressed with other Vets in this town? But, after talking to the good Dr. Hammond I cannot go on and on enough how impressed I was with his knowledge and care of my two pets. He took his time and went over options for me and my pet.. He never tried to upsize me on the healthcare of my pet and together we went over what the best options were. Thank you Dr. Hammond and staff "your now long term customer".

Hammond Animal hospital is by far the best. Great staff, great prices, very professional. I first came to them in a panic when another vet in the area sent me and my dog home with the only explanation being that she was "just being dramatic" an hour later she was having a seizure. I could never thank Dr. Lauren Johnson, our direct vet, enough for saving her life and continuing to be the best vet I have ever taken our dog to. Absolutely recommended!

The veterinarian techs are cheerful and comforting to animals. The veterinarian was thorough and educational. One well kept secret is that they have boarding services here. They have large indoor pens that are clean.....no overwhelming smell! Dogs are taken to the play yard several times daily. Ask for a tour. They don't mind and it will make you feel more comfortable about leaving your beloved pet there. Boarding services are very reasonable for the Tulsa area.

I brought in a little dog that my daughter is currently fostering. The appt was set up by Rescue and Ready. I was treated with courtesy and respect and so was the dog. Would highly recommend.

At the time, she was unable to walk on her back legs, but after surgery, I'm glad to say she runs around the house like nothing ever happened! I cannot recommend this hospital enough! Yesterday I had to have my 22 year old Kitty euthanized. I called early and the girls had me bring him straight in. Everything went as well as can be expected. Both Max and I were treated with kindness and respect. I am very grateful that the procedure was painless for Max. I will miss him. Thanks to everyone who helped Max, and me through a very tough day.

Ever since I got my rescue pup Penny in 2011, Hammond Animal Hospital has been amazing to work with each and every time I need boarding or a vet visit. They treat my dog like family, keep me updated on her health, and always make me feel like I am leaving her in safe hands. The minute the vet walked in the room he sounded like a used car salesman trying to pitch every procedure and medication under the sun. The vet did a blood test and said he thinks it's a urinary tract infection. In what reality does a blood test tell you that?? So he administered an antibiotic shot and collected $260. 24 hours later our cat is worse. Won't even lift his head. We're force feeding him now with a syringe. If he doesn't get better by Monday, we're going to have to put him to sleep. We can't afford to pay vets hundreds or thousands to try different ideas. This place only wants your money. Beware!

Dr.Johnson, Jill and the rest of the staff of Hammond are excellent. Dr. Johnson diagnosed our Baxter with congestive heart failure around 6 months ago. She was there every step of the way, trying everything she could to keep his condition from deteriorating, making sure his quality of life was good. When his condition deteriorated and the time came when we had to make the decision to put him down, Dr. Johnson was the one who did it. I am extremely grateful to everyone for being with us, to talk to us when we had questions, listen to us when we cried, and be there at the end to reassure us it was indeed a correct decision to make. Our other dog Barkley goes to Hammond also and any other dogs we may get will as well. Thank you everyone.

What a great place... After taking my pet to another Vet, shall I say I have not been impressed with other Vets in this town? But, after talking to the good Dr. Hammond I cannot go on and on enough how impressed I was with his knowledge and care of my two pets. He took his time and went over options for me and my pet.. He never tried to upsize me on the healthcare of my pet and together we went over what the best options were. Thank you Dr. Hammond and staff "your now long term customer".

Hammond Animal hospital is by far the best. Great staff, great prices, very professional. I first came to them in a panic when another vet in the area sent me and my dog home with the only explanation being that she was "just being dramatic" an hour later she was having a seizure. I could never thank Dr. Lauren Johnson, our direct vet, enough for saving her life and continuing to be the best vet I have ever taken our dog to. Absolutely recommended!
