Harvard Avenue Veterinary Hospital in Tulsa delivers wellness routines that move at a familiar pace instead of urgent schedules, mirroring the daily lives of pets in Oklahoma homes. The intake process is built around rhythm. Pets receive opportunities to watch from lobby areas and room corners. Initial stages of appointments involve environmental stabilization where lights are dimmed positioning is adjusted and vocal tone calibrated. Examination routines adhere to specific sequences where joint assessments precede oral evaluations and fur inspections occur before abdominal examinations. Healthcare providers request caregivers to report early-morning activities along with breathing patterns during rest and alterations in food interest. Harvard Avenue Veterinary Hospital presents intricate health mapping systems which encompass diagnostic evaluations, injury recovery schedules, stress-sensitive vaccine administration, geriatric mobility assistance, and personalized pain monitoring. The treatment cadence modifies whenever pets exhibit looping behavior combined with freeze responses and shifts in gaze avoidance. Handling tolerance measurements and movement recovery intervals determine procedure staggering instead of arbitrary sequencing. Following veterinary consultations families receive next-step recommendations that align with their pet's identified decompression period. Certain animals thrive on direct rewards such as walks or gentle vocal exchanges while others require solitary time, warmth, or repetitive soothing actions to feel comforted. Harvard Avenue Veterinary Hospital assists caregivers in understanding post-care requirements within the clinical process instead of limiting support to follow-up appointments. Harvard Avenue Veterinary Hospital delivers veterinary care to both Tulsa area residents and the broader Oklahoma community by providing support for nervous kittens and senior pets with sensory needs through a care arc that aligns with animals' natural living patterns from morning beginnings to evening reflections.

Dr Mui and Dr McCoy are the best! They both take the time to listen to you and your pet. They approach each situation thoroughly and methodically without jumping to possibilities that can cause panic (and unneccesary tests), unlike some other vets that I have experienced. Our first time here was last week and we were amazed by the incredible customer service. Dr. McCoy obviously cares deeply for animals and it shows. A day after we visited, I received a text message from him asking how our fur baby was doing! He asked that I text him directly if anything else came up. Then his office called us a couple days later to check up again. Between that and the reasonable prices they charge, I doubt we will ever need to find a new vet. Read Less

I love Dr. McCoy! I am a groomer and trust few people with my pets. Dr. McCoy has always been calm and patient with the frantic me and my pets. He is more than affordable and I believe truly loves animals. He was going to stay after hours for me and my dog because I thought he was acting sick from eating a chair. I really appreciate the level of care and compassion his entire team offers to my entire family. Hands down the best Vet that I have encountered!! I would like to add that Dr. Mui was as warm with my pet as Dr. McCoy. I am confident with both taking care of us. Read Less

Will never go back. Dr Mui did not want to help me or my Rottweiler pup, I felt like he did not even try to listen to me about my dog and his symptoms. They didn't even have a parvo test to give him, which is odd considering it is a vet clinic, so instead he wanted to xray him for $120-$150 dollars, for what????? Because he thought he swallowed something, uhh he's a puppy he's swallowed tons of things, however I truly believe he has parvo, well needless to say he sent me away with no dx just a ov bill, that I paid and left and went to the Marina Animal Clinic, in turn treated us like family and properly dx my puppy with parvo. I would have been out the $120-150 for no reason and would have still been turned away. I'll never return nor refer. However The Marina Animal Clinic now has two new family members and tons of referrals. Read Less
