I boarded my dogs through Paw Prints on multiple occasions without incident. However, the last time they kept the dogs, the office staff overcharged me for the boarding (charged vet's house pricing versus office pricing). Additionally, they didn't follow the instructions and left a harness on one of the dogs full time. This caused an issue because my dog chewed through the harness requiring it to be replaced. When I spoke with the office staff, I was told to come to the office in the afternoon to be reimbursed with cash. I worked afternoons and couldn't make it. Any time I went in I was told to come back later for cash. Finally I gave up going in and just decided to leave it as a credit for the next boarding. We haven't needed boarding services for several months, so I called the office to ask for a check for the refund/reimbursement. The office staff has changed, so when they told me they needed to research I understood. I had to make multiple return calls before I finally got a response - and it was completely unexpected. The office staff admitted that our file shows we were over-charged, and they even had the original receipt from the replacement harness purchase. However, they refused to provide a refund. I asked why I was not being refunded even when the file indicated I was overcharged and there were notes and receipts for the harness reimbursement. I was told that Dr Callison and her husband were unaware of the over-charge and the office staff who made the original reimbursement/refund offer was no longer employed. Because of these, I was told I could only receive credit towards future veterinary services. I reiterated that the file had notes from the time indicating that I was due a refund. I was again told that since the vet had never been told of this they would not honor the refund but would only offer credit for future services. Read Less

When I went in, I learned that they overcharge - BIG time. I brought my cat in for some flee treatment and antibiotic. The bill came out to $150+ - a little steep, but for antibiotic, flee medication and flee shampoo, it didn't seem too abnormal. They said they were waiting on shipment of the flee medication and would call me when it arrived. They said I could "just come in and pick it up." Unfortunately, that is not how things played out. Apparently, they "forgot" to mention that the flee treatment wasn't included in my original bill, and charged me an additional $50. That bumped my total bill up to and over $200. For some odd reason, I'm not feeling too convinced that this was a matter of simply forgetting to mention. Either it really wasn't on my original bill and they decided to keep quiet on the additional charge so they'd be sure to get the $50 out of me, or I did pay for the medication and they just figured out a way to double charge me. I don't know for certain (but regardless - SLEEZY.) To add to this lovely experience, we just compared the flee medication they gave us to Frontline Plus.. it's a copy/paste of Frontline Plus. All of the same active ingredients in all of the same amounts. They effectively sold us $20 flee medication for $50. They also told me that I couldn't use this treatment on my lactating cat, and we just checked the instructions on the box and in big bold letters it read, "CAN BE USED ON BREEDING, PREGNANT, AND LACTATING CATS." They seriously didn't even know anything about the product they were charging me $50 for. It's a good thing I didn't fall for their crap and buy into their $80 per flee collar deal (which they avidly tried to convince me to try.) TL;DR: This place is a scam looking to suck away ridiculous amounts of your money while you're trying to love and care for your sick pet. I would love to see this place shut down so that nobody else ends up cheated and scammed. Read Less

$200 for full flea treatment on a single cat. Ridiculous. I'm fairly certain we were double charged for at least one of the medications, or at least it wasn't clearly communicated what the price would be before any decisions were made. It wasn't until we got the first bill that we learned it was going to be $150, but after that was paid they said we just had to swing by and pick up the medication that was ordered later the next week. Went to do so and it was another $50. Update: upon further inspection, not only did they double charge us for the medicine, they charged us for something they didn't even do in the first place. And the flea medicine they recommended was basically a copy paste of Frontline Plus, except $50 rather than $25. And they tricked us into paying $100 for it. I retract my last star to give them the lowest possible rating. Paw Prints is a scam, and a scam that preys on people trying to help their sick pets is the worst kind of scam. This place needs to be shut down. Read Less

Read Less

Didn?t think anything about it thought that was the way they all are didn?t put two & two together. Paw prints explained why unsanitary conditions are a haven for disease. Wally is back to his living a good quality of life & me with peace of mind.
