We are a full-service hospital: x-rays, ultrasound, boarding, grooming, new patient exams, and very walk-in friendly!!

We adopted a puppy here and although the puppy got sick and we couldn't keep it they covered all vet expenses and stayed in contact with us to ensure our peace of mind.

The staff here is so great! I used them 5 years ago, on my 30th birthday, when my childhood cat needed to be put to sleep and they were very gentle and sweet is assisting with confirming he was in fact dying from his kidney disease and making the trip to the Rainbow Bridge as calm as possible preparing for the aftercare of his body.
I am now a foster for a local dog rescue and this is the vet they use. I took my foster pup there to have some sores on her feet checked. It was hard but it was the same veterinarian who had helped me 5 years ago and she, as well as all of the other staff, was still just as amazing as the first time we had an encounter.
I definitely will be considering them as a possibility for our own pets future needs.

He's recovered from several injuries perfectly and they've always been able to spot exactly what his issue is.

Dr. Freije is amazing! We honestly thought our dog Oliver was dying-he wasn't eating, lost muscle mass and was getting so thin and weak. She diagnosed him with Addison's disease and the change has been amazing! He's gained weight back, has his energy back and acts like his old self again. He takes one pill a day and one shot a month. We are so grateful to her for giving us our boy back!

Dr. Lori and her staff are absolutely amazing! They are so caring and attentive to our pets. Dr. Lori saved my dog's life and gave him 3 1/2 extra years that we would not have had otherwise. Dr. Lori went above and beyond with her research & treatment for his rare disease. When it was time to put him down...all I can say is that although it was extremely difficult; I knew he was in good hands and was loved on by South Memorial Animal Hospital until the very end. They were so kind and compassionate not only to our fur baby but also to the ugly cries coming from my husband and me. Dr. Lori and her staff are the absolute best!!!!

My husband & I love this place! They always take such good care of our two furry babies Mya & Diesel Taber. They get treated like royalty when they are there & they absolutely love Dr. Freije & Courtney!!! Diesel has been getting acupuncture treatment now for about 8 months & there is a HUGE difference in our boy! He is way more energetic & acts like a puppy again. We are so very thankful & blessed that are furry kids get amazing treatment from the best! I never worry when they are there because they are in great hands!! Thanks SMAH!!!

The staff here is so great! I used them 5 years ago, on my 30th birthday, when my childhood cat needed to be put to sleep and they were very gentle and sweet is assisting with confirming he was in fact dying from his kidney disease and making the trip to the Rainbow Bridge as calm as possible preparing for the aftercare of his body.
