The staff here is so great! I used them 5 years ago, on my 30th birthday, when my childhood cat needed to be put to sleep and they were very gentle and sweet is assisting with confirming he was in fact dying from his kidney disease and making the trip to the Rainbow Bridge as calm as possible preparing for the aftercare of his body. I am now a foster for a local dog rescue and this is the vet they use. I took my foster pup there to have some sores on her feet checked. It was hard but it was the same veterinarian who had helped me 5 years ago and she, as well as all of the other staff, was still just as amazing as the first time we had an encounter. Dr. Lori and the staff are lovely, caring people. My dog Lucy is very shy, but she hops right out of the car when I take her to Dr. Lori. Everyone is so gentle with her. Lucy once ate some rat poison that our neighbors had thrown out when they moved, and Dr. Lori saved her life. Read Less

Dr. Lori and her staff have saved my dog's life so many times. They offered practical solutions for my dog, including therapy, when other vets would have simply recommended putting him down. Dr. Freije is amazing! We honestly thought our dog Oliver was dying-he wasn't eating, lost muscle mass and was getting so thin and weak. She diagnosed him with Addison's disease and the change has been amazing! He's gained weight back, has his energy back and acts like his old self again. He takes one pill a day and one shot a month. Dr. Lori and her staff are absolutely amazing! They are so caring and attentive to our pets. Dr. Lori saved my dog's life and gave him 3 1/2 extra years that we would not have had otherwise. Dr. Lori went above and beyond with her research & treatment for his rare disease. When it was time to put him down...all I can say is that although it was extremely difficult; I knew he was in good hands and was loved on by South Memorial Animal Hospital until the very end. My husband & I love this place! They always take such good care of our two furry babies Mya & Diesel Taber. They get treated like royalty when they are there & they absolutely love Dr. Freije & Courtney!!! Diesel has been getting acupuncture treatment now for about 8 months & there is a HUGE difference in our boy! He is way more energetic & acts like a puppy again.
