My wife and I adopted a boxer mix and took our new furry child to Tulsa General Veterinary Hospital for his first evaluation. Immediately after walking in the door we were amazed by the style and home like feeling of this office. We were greeted by Dr. P and his staff and given a full tour. I have taken our dog there for boarding, for grooming and for medical care and everyone there treats him like he is their own! I was sad to leave him for a couple of days but I also knew he was in very good hands. Our Buddy always leaves so happy and clean and anytime we pull in the parking lot he can not wait to get inside and see everyone. I highly recommender Dr. P and his team to anyone! Read Less

Dr. P and his staff are amazing! They were so great with my new puppy that I have switched with my other dog. Facility is super nice and love that we can wait comfortably in every room to see the vet. I needed a vet asap yesterday while passing through Tulsa, I'm not from the Tulsa area, I was just staying the evening in the area. I called everywhere to find the best vet that I felt most comfortable at going to. The owner and his wife waited for me to show up with a little dog that needed medical attention. They took the dog in like their own and I was almost brought to tears as to how well they took care of the dog and provided superior medical attention. They also gave me a more than reasonable charge for their services. Their Love for the animals is amazing and are now a huge factor as to why I now am wanting to move to Tulsa. I was in town for the holidays from Florida. My yellow lab had just been recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. While here, the tumor progressed rapidly and we had to make a very hard decision quickly. Dr. P took a lot of time with us and helped us make the decision that was right for us at that moment. The entire staff is amazing and so compassionate. We did end up putting our dog down after 12 wonderful years, but it was much less painful with the help of the whole staff. The facility is beautiful and their boarding rooms are really neat. I love this place. Wish they were in Florida. Much cheaper than my current vet too. Thumbs up! Thanks to everyone there!!! Words can not describe how pleased I am with the experience I've had with Dr. P, as well as his staff. They have gone above and beyond what they had to do. After surgery to repair a hernia on my shih tzu, I called with some concerns. Dr. P actually spoke to me on the phone, I brought her in and was taken back immediately. My dog and myself was treated very kindly. I wasn't made to feel dumb with any question I asked. On top of the great care, I really like how the office has a home like feel to it. Dr. P and the staff at Tulsa General Veterinary Hospital always go above and beyond what is needed. They are honest, friendly, and hard working. I make the 1.5 hour drive to bring my four-legged family members to them because, honestly, I don't trust anyone else. We went on vacation in February 2014 and boarded our elderly dog and insane dog at TGVH. The staff was so wonderful to us and gave me updates on them when I called to check in. Dr. P wound up saving the day when we got stuck in another state because of a terrible snow and ice storm that hit the Tulsa area. He went above and beyond to make sure my elderly dog received his special medications and that he received extra treatments for his arthritis. Dr. P even braved the elements to meet us there (once we finally made it back to Tulsa) so that we could pick up our boys. You truly couldn't ask for a better place to take your pets! Read Less

My family was very nervous about leaving our two labs and toy poodle for a week while we went on a cruise. One reason was because the dogs had never been away from us for that length of time and another is because we would be unable to communicate with whoever they were staying with. However, Dr. P and the staff at Tulsa General Veterinary Hospital took terrific care of them and even stayed late one evening so we could pick them up early. It is also the nicest veterinary hospital I have seen as it has a very comfortable, homey feeling.
