Had an appointment with Dr. Harl. My Dachshund has had back problems in the past, and a re-occurrence last night. Got an appointment, and was seen early because the appointment before finished sooner than expected. Dr. Harl was knowledgeable, reassuring, and I left with a proper understanding of my dog's problems and (what I expect to be) an accurate prognosis. Facility was clean and well kept, staff were great. My dog needed an exam, xrays, and medication. Prices were definitely reasonable. I'm used to small town Arkansas vet prices, so they were more than I usually pay back home, but they definitely seem appropriate for a city like Tulsa. Read Less

Amazing veterinarians on staff, receptionists are well trained, and I barely saw the vet techs, but I'm sure they work very hard as the rest of the staff. The facility was clean and the reception area has plenty of seating/waiting area. I will recommend Veterinary Associates to anyone who lives near their location. Thank you for only good experiences! We have taken our sweet Ellie to Veterinary Associates for a couple of years now. Dr. Kunzweiler has always been so kind and caring and takes a personal interest in our dog. Recently Ellie suffered an ear infection while Dr. K was on vacation, and Dr. Murray stepped in and took equally amazing care of our "baby". Little Ellie recently had a back issue and again Dr. K treated her with concern and care. WE LOVE Veterinary Associates and both Dr. K and Dr. Murray! I've been taking my dogs to VA for years. I trust the doctors and the treatment options they offer. I've never had a bad experience with the doctors at VA through the years unless it was something over which they had no control, such as a pet's death. That's not their fault! They have always treated me with compassion in such situations (two pet deaths over the past 17 years) and even have sent cards and a plant one time to commemorate our pet's passing. I can't begin to say how much I appreciate Dr. Murray for helping me through a difficult and emotional time as I had to let my elderly and sick Bichon go. Dr. Murray didn't rush me, gave me time to make a wise decision and showed compassion and understanding in the difficulty of the situation. We have been taking our dog to Veterinary Associates for the last 7 years. We've experienced nothing but excellent care from our primary veterinarian, Dr. Kunzweiler, as well as her partners. Whenever we have an urgent need, they're always able to squeeze us in. My dog has chronic eye problems and while we were working to find the right medication for my dog, Dr. Kunzweiler took the initiative to call me and see how he was doing instead of waiting for me to call. I go 11 miles out of my way to bring my pets here. They have great docs but also all other staff are great! I have used Dr. Martin as the primary doctor for my pets but on emergencies or last minute visits I have used many other doctors and they are all awesome! I highly recommend this incredible team. Wonderful vets! I have used all of the vets at Vet Associates over the last 10 years (and my family used them with our dogs when I was a child) and they have provided fantastic care to my pugs and bulldogs, from puppyhood to old age with multiple complex ailments. Dr. Evans has been especially incredible the last 6 months, helping me care for a rescue bully with multiple issues-even referring me to a specialist when needed. What can I say that the others have not? My only regret is that it took me so long to take my dog Shane to this establishment and Dr. Kunzweiler. They provided excellent care not only to Shane, but also provided stellar care to my sister's dog several years ago. The staff is excellent and attentive. I treat my Beagles like two more kids; they are loved and spoiled rotten. I had a wonderful vet in Houston so I was hesitant about finding a new one in Tulsa. No hesitation was needed as Veterinary Associates are on top of their game.First, the front desk gals are super friendly, both in person and on the phone. They greeted my dogs like they were old friends. Dr. Martin was a dream. So personable, explained what shots my dogs needed to stay up-to-date, and welcomed me to Tulsa with open arms (literally). Dr. Christine Martin is excellent.  She is very caring and compassionate and I highly recommend her.  Not only is she great with the small critters you may bring her, she is very patient with their human companions!  I know all the vets at Veterinary Associates are wonderful.  Dr. Martin has been BeeBee's primary vet for the last 3 years and she has provided excellent recommendations for her various issues and she also gives great advice on training.  The whole staff at Veterinary Associates of Tulsa is helpful, kind and caring.  This is just a great place to take your pet(s).  Thank you! We just moved into the neighborhood and Veterinary Associates came highly recommended. We've taken Rabi to see Dr. K already for a foot problem and we love her but today was amazing.This dog does NOT like to have his nails trimmed. I've seen him try to bite our former vet and various other groomers over the years. Since he no longer walks every day, his nails have gotten quite long. I've been trying to dremmel them myself but it was really slow going with him trembling the entire time like I was trying to kill him. Yes, he also tried to bite me the first time I did it. Finally, we decided to have the professionals do it since the dremmeling was taking so long and we learned that the quick can grow longer into the nails. I swear we were in and out of there in 3 minutes. It was so fast and he came out very happy. Magic, it was magic!Thank you Veterinary Associates. For the past 13 years my dogs have received excellent care at Veterinary Associates. I drive all the way across town from the far east side to take my animals to them for health care. They have always treated me well, listened to me and given the best care possible. We've been through the death of two of our dogs over the years and they've always been compassionate and caring, both to our pets and to us. In fact, I just returned from visiting Dr. Christine Martin with my two Irish Setters and as always, she explains everything to me, she is thorough, she gives recommendations when asked and she always takes time to listen to me. The doctors at Veterinary Associates are the most helpful, loving, caring, and down to earth people I've ever met.  They are always willing to help, and they're top-notch when it comes to educational abilities and experience.  They offer grooming facilities, boarding, and medical services, and they're reasonably priced for the service that you get.  Dr. Suzanne Caruso is my favorite, but every doctor will get you what you need!
