I have never had such a compassionate and gentle experience as we had with Dr. Grace Inskeep. We had brought in a kitten who was very very sick--- probably dying, but we weren't sure and didn't know why and she was ever so loved--- so we wanted a second opinion. She was so patient and empathetic it made the worst day of our lives that we had had in a very long time a lot more tolerable. She was so knowledgeable and patient, we were so incredibly impressed. The staff was so accommodating when we came back to have her put down; it's a terrible situation to have to go through, but they did everything possible to make it easy for us. New to Yukon & needed to find a new Vet. I Took a chance based on other reviews & I'm glad I did. The staff was friendly from the time I called to get an appointment right through the appointment and checking out. They got me in same day. The wait was not long at all. They were patient, kind, understanding, non-judgemental & informative. The prices were fair & probably comparable to others in the area. Dr. Grace Inskeep is phenomenal with all 3 of our Mini Dachshunds! After moving here I did my research before choosing the right Vet Hospital and this was the right choice. Dr. Mcquade is also a wonderful Vet. We'll be coming back until we move. Owning dogs gets very expensive but for the quality of each Vets care, they're decently priced. Read Less

We LOVE this place!! The staff is awesome, Dr. Mcquade & Dr. In sleep are amazing. When my sweet Pug Baby was sick, he helped take care of her SO much before she passed & even helped set up a payment plan for me as I was in my last year of Grad. School & paying for surgeries & labs was really hard. Now, our sweet beautiful Pug boy Tate goes there & he LOVES them!! They treat Tate like a king, give him so much love, he has loved it there. This is a biased review because Dr. McQuade is my dad. However, since he is my dad I have personal insight into his love for animals and passion for healing them. I have many examples that support this claim but a few of my favorites are when he went to the Alfred P Murrah building after the bombing and volunteered to take care of the search and rescue dogs and the many times he would have to revive my Mammy's stubborn English bulldog who thought tires were big donuts and consistently had heat strokes or the time he personally went to a close friend's house late one night to ease their golden retriever's pain in its final hours. I'm extremely proud of these stories and the many other stories I've heard from friends, clients and colleagues of his during his many years in practice. I'm proud to have a dad who shared his love for animals with me. Most of all, I'm proud to have a dad who is a damn good veterinarian.Read Less

This is the best vet's office I've ever used. Dr. McQuade is wonderful and always does a great job with all of our animals. He's helped us through sickness and health, and was very kind when our cat had an inoperable brain tumor. He's just as good with people as he is with the cats and dogs, and all the staff is great! I highly recommend this pet clinic. We called on a Saturday at the last minute & our pet was worked in on the same day for his first apt. Our pet now not only has received the best care but we also have found a new one stop shop. They offer online records, apt reminders online, updates on your pet, along with grooming, boarding and a day play facility for all of his pet needs for a fraction of what other boarding/ day play facilities offer. The rates are the most reasonable and affordable we have found in town on our search. The staff was incredibly personable on the phone and treated us with the most respectful, attentive and empathetic service in person. Our pet & diverse family has truly found an amazing group of people to care for ALL of his pet care needs! Very Good!! Have lived in the area some time but haven't had the need to take any or my animals in untill my 16yr dog started having some issues yesterday. Called today and they got him rite in. Let them know I was on a budget and they didn't go a penny over. They got every thing done that needed to be done and figured out what was wrong with my dog. Amy Gustafson was the vet on duty when we brought in our kitten for treatment. She did everything she could to save our baby girl. She even took her home to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with her and keep an eye on her. She took the time to explain everything to me in detail about her treatment and care. Never seemed to be short or impatient when I had questions or concerns. I appreciate everything she did to help our special little family member. Unfortunately Dr. Gustafson is not a permanent fixture in this hospital, but if she finds somewhere to land permanently, she would be our vet of choice for life. =) Read Less
