I've seen a good samaritan bring in a cat hit by a car and then be forced to pay for the euthenization here.
Despite that, my family has taken multiple pets here for decades. They misdiagnosed cancer ...
I've seen a good samaritan bring in a cat hit by a car and then be forced to pay for the euthenization here.
Despite that, my family has taken multiple pets here for decades. They misdiagnosed cancer as "arthritis" in a dog we could have had several more years with. This type of cancer is common for the breed! It should have been looked into by the vet and was not at all. A mobile vet knew it was cancer by feeling it. Second opinion confirmed. Now there is no option but euthenization. Our dog was in so much pain. The end of her life was so much pain. I wish we had a correct diagnosis sooner. Never taking another pet here.

I've seen a good samaritan bring in a cat hit by a car and then be forced to pay for the euthenization here.
Despite that, my family has taken multiple pets here for decades. They misdiagnosed cancer as "arthritis" in a dog we could have had several more years with. This type of cancer is common for the breed! It should have been looked into by the vet and was not at all. A mobile vet knew it was cancer by feeling it. Second opinion confirmed. Now there is no option but euthenization. Our dog was in so much pain. The end of her life was so much pain. I wish we had a correct diagnosis sooner. Never taking another pet here.

It's not all about how much they can get you to pay for as many services that they can sell to you, it's all about how we can work together to figure out what is wrong with my pet, what your options are, taking into account any budget you might have and just explaining, so that you understand it, how they think your pet got this way. If the vet refers you to Dr. Scott in Carver, OR for accupuncture instead of expensive surgery, please take your pet to Dr. Scott. She made my dachshoud who started dragging his back legs after they became paralized because of a jump off a bed, into our little miracle dog, who has been able to walk normally for over a year now. It took alot of work and I never left his side for about a month, when all of sudden he just stood
up & ran to chase the squirrels. I can't tell you what a wonderful sight that was! Thank you so much to both Dr. Scott & all the vets at Beavercreek for caring for my dogs health as much as I do!

Dr. Johnson and her staff have been wonderful and very informative as to how to work with the animals health issues. Their recommendations and treatments have kept our four footed family happy and healthy. They lived to the ages of 11, 17, and 16. During life and during the decisions we needed to make about "quality of life this has been the most caring facility we have ever worked with. I finally came to my senses and stopped using this clinic, after they mis-diagnosed my cat and I watched her get worse for 2 months. Their response when I called with questions was to bring her in again and pay for another exam. Won't answer questions on the phone. After I went to another Vet I found out that Beavercreek Clinic has been charging me double and triple the going rate for medication and exams - AND they never informed me that I could get the same meds over the counter from any pharmacy.Fact: Beavercreek Clinic charged me $85 for 90 tablets of my cats medication. My new Vet (Companion Pet Clinic) charged me $37 for 240 tablets of the SAME medication. Do the math.This place is all about the money. Communication skills non-existant.Do yourself a favor and call around BEFORE using this clinic. Save yourself some money and possibly the life of your pet.

Beavercreek Animal Hospital is not my dog's normal vet office but when it came time to get her fixed we were referred here because it was 1/3 of what my vet charges (although cost wasn't the only reason we tried it). I have a 4 pound Chihuahua and waited two years to get her spayed because I was worried about the recovery (since she is so small and fragile). I was surprised that the incision was less than an inch and didn't bleed at all after the procedure. My dog seemed sore (which is normal) but overall I was VERY impressed. The staff seemed super friendly on the phone and in person and took good care of my dog. I would agree that their facility isn't the most glamorous place I have ever seen though. But no complaints and would recommend their spay/neuter service to others.

First off the smell of the vet office is HORRIBLE. I don't know why they are unable to keep it smelling good in there, but every other vet I have been to has not had this issue. During the scheduling the receptionist was very rude and short with me, I asked for some price quotes and when I stated that I didn't need quotes for shots, deworming or spay they instantly got all huffy. Then the vet came out and I got a lecture on breeding and such in front of other clients in the waiting room. I am appalled at their customer service and will NEVER be returning here; no matter how urgent it is.

WORST VET CLINIC EVER. These people mis diagnosed my cat, injecting her with drugs that she didn't need probably because they didn't spend more than 5 minutes with her. The vet was rude, unwilling to answer any of my questions, and the facility was the most dirty I have ever seem. While waiting to pick my cat up, there was a dog fight going on in the back room where they keep all of the animals. My cat was scared to death, and it was clear that they didn't care about her comfort, or any of the other animals there. This place is a sick joke and needs to be shut down. If you're reading this now, please take caution, as a simple error that they made with my kitty could have cost her her life. It's worth it to pay the extra 20$ a visit to a clean, safe vet that knows what they are doing, and doesn't leave room for error. Because we brought her into this vet first, we ended up paying double to get her problem fixed from another vet. For no other reason, don't bring your pet here if they are a real part of your family, because they get treated like DIRT!

We brought our dog and two kittens in for a first visit. The kittens needed worming and their first shots and we brought the dog for an exam and a diagnosis for excessive itchiness. Dr. Johnson had handouts and explained the role of diet in the allergies. She explained that shifting diets often made the itching worse and recommended we try a hypoallergenic diet from a pet store first, since it wasn't as expensive as the RX type from the office. She also provided info about our kittens' sucking even though the exam was for the dog. We are glad to have found such a competent new vet, and also one that's very convenient to where we live

The facility is unsanitary and I will NEVER be taking my cats there again and I hope you don't either. The prices are a lil less then other places in the area but dont let that bring u in because in the end you get what you pay for!

I have given this vet multiple chances, and they have failed on every count. They are rude, slow, very disorganized, and the facilities are way below par. Heaven forbid if in a yearly exam, they actually look at your animals, instead of giving them a shot and sticking them back in the cage. I even had to take a friend's dog in, because of a time conflict, and they waaay misdiagnosed him, and he ended up dying in extreme pain because of it. Stay away from this vet. You'll regret it if you go.

Beavercreek Animal Hospital has been our vet for dogs and cats for over 12 years. The doctors and staff are caring and professional. We completely trust them to provide all the care our menagerie of dogs and cats need. I would highly recommend them.

Dr. Johnson and her staff have been wonderful and very informative as to how to work with the animals health issues. Their recommendations and treatments have kept our four footed family happy and healthy. They lived to the ages of 11, 17, and 16. During life and during the decisions we needed to make about "quality of life this has been the most caring facility we have ever worked with. I have been taking my cats here for 6+ years and have always received the best vet care ever. The staff is professional and they are always able to answer questions over the phone and schedule same day if warranted. Even if I moved 50 miles away, I would make the drive to continue to provide my cats with the best care in the Portland area.

I finally came to my senses and stopped using this clinic, after they mis-diagnosed my cat and I watched her get worse for 2 months. Their response when I called with questions was to bring her in again and pay for another exam. Won't answer questions on the phone. After I went to another Vet I found out that Beavercreek Clinic has been charging me double and triple the going rate for medication and exams - AND they never informed me that I could get the same meds over the counter from any pharmacy.Fact: Beavercreek Clinic charged me $85 for 90 tablets of my cats medication. My new Vet (Companion Pet Clinic) charged me $37 for 240 tablets of the SAME medication. Do the math.This place is all about the money. Communication skills non-existant.Do yourself a favor and call around BEFORE using this clinic. Save yourself some money and possibly the life of your pet.

Beavercreek Animal Hospital is not my dog's normal vet office but when it came time to get her fixed we were referred here because it was 1/3 of what my vet charges (although cost wasn't the only reason we tried it). I have a 4 pound Chihuahua and waited two years to get her spayed because I was worried about the recovery (since she is so small and fragile). I was surprised that the incision was less than an inch and didn't bleed at all after the procedure. My dog seemed sore (which is normal) but overall I was VERY impressed. The staff seemed super friendly on the phone and in person and took good care of my dog. I would agree that their facility isn't the most glamorous place I have ever seen though. But no complaints and would recommend their spay/neuter service to others.

First off the smell of the vet office is HORRIBLE. I don't know why they are unable to keep it smelling good in there, but every other vet I have been to has not had this issue. During the scheduling the receptionist was very rude and short with me, I asked for some price quotes and when I stated that I didn't need quotes for shots, deworming or spay they instantly got all huffy. Then the vet came out and I got a lecture on breeding and such in front of other clients in the waiting room. I am appalled at their customer service and will NEVER be returning here; no matter how urgent it is.

WORST VET CLINIC EVER. These people mis diagnosed my cat, injecting her with drugs that she didn't need probably because they didn't spend more than 5 minutes with her. The vet was rude, unwilling to answer any of my questions, and the facility was the most dirty I have ever seem. While waiting to pick my cat up, there was a dog fight going on in the back room where they keep all of the animals. My cat was scared to death, and it was clear that they didn't care about her comfort, or any of the other animals there. This place is a sick joke and needs to be shut down. If you're reading this now, please take caution, as a simple error that they made with my kitty could have cost her her life. It's worth it to pay the extra 20$ a visit to a clean, safe vet that knows what they are doing, and doesn't leave room for error. Because we brought her into this vet first, we ended up paying double to get her problem fixed from another vet. For no other reason, don't bring your pet here if they are a real part of your family, because they get treated like DIRT!

We brought our dog and two kittens in for a first visit. The kittens needed worming and their first shots and we brought the dog for an exam and a diagnosis for excessive itchiness. Dr. Johnson had handouts and explained the role of diet in the allergies. She explained that shifting diets often made the itching worse and recommended we try a hypoallergenic diet from a pet store first, since it wasn't as expensive as the RX type from the office. She also provided info about our kittens' sucking even though the exam was for the dog. We are glad to have found such a competent new vet, and also one that's very convenient to where we live

Extemely rude on the phone, you feel rushed and in the way, customer service is completely lacking, your questions are not welcome. The vets have no idea what they're talking about and completely mis diagnosed my cat in the most obvious degree! The facility is unsanitary and I will NEVER be taking my cats there again and I hope you don't either. The prices are a lil less then other places in the area but dont let that bring u in because in the end you get what you pay for!

I have given this vet multiple chances, and they have failed on every count. They are rude, slow, very disorganized, and the facilities are way below par. Heaven forbid if in a yearly exam, they actually look at your animals, instead of giving them a shot and sticking them back in the cage. I even had to take a friend's dog in, because of a time conflict, and they waaay misdiagnosed him, and he ended up dying in extreme pain because of it. Stay away from this vet. You'll regret it if you go.
