This animal hospital was recommended by a breeder I talked to, and I'm very glad we followed her recommendation. The amount of personal attention we received was very nice. All of my questions and concerns as a new puppy opener were addressed with a genuine dressier to help. I honestly feel like they care about my puppy and want to help me make the right choices to keep her happy and healthy. I even think my puppy enjoyed her visit. We took both of our cats in at the same time to get treated for after flea complications. They did awesome. The staff kept both our pets very calm and explained everything going on very well. They were sweet and awesome. And their prices are great. It was a little under 500 for both cats to get flea meds for 3 months. Vaccines and get some steroids like stuff and allergy meds to help my cat with her severe flea allergy. Very impressed and will be going to them again. Read Less

My family and I have been taking our pets to aloha cat and dog for a few years. I recently had to put my cat down due to old age and other serious health issues recently at aloha cat and dog. My cat was a stray 6+ years ago that we took in and made her a part of the family not knowing her true age. I had taken my cat in to aloha cat and dog on a check up visit a couple years ago, Dr. Amanda Meester was our veterinarian that visit and I had asked her if she could possibly determine a age for my cat. She said, somewhere between 5-8 years old. I knew very well, the cat was full grown when she popped up on our property which was 5+ yeas ago prior to that check up visit and at this point my cat had arthritis and grey hairs on her (she was naturally Auburn/black hair), so I knew she had, had been 10+ years in age. So, that tells me Dr. Meeser was unsure. So here's the cherry on top..I had to put my cat down last week and I request a private cremation and also a paw print. I remember telling Dr. Meeser, I didn't know how they'd be able to get a good paw print because her little paws were in rough shape. Dr. Meeser said something in the words of, "we'll try to make a good one". Yesterday, I went to pick up the remains of my cat, and what do you know? No paw print! They were looking around for it, went to the back to ask around and sure enough, one of the assistants comes tells me, "we are so sorry, but we failed you. Dr. Meeser forgot to relate the message to the funeral home. There's no charge for it, it's a free service we offer." I was and still am angry and very upset about this. I do not care about a charge or no charge for a paw print, it's a sentimental item to always have of her, now my cat is dust no paw print, ever. I'm not sure what is going on with Dr. Meeser, but my two experiences I've had with her were not the greatest due to not giving accurate information and forgetting to relate a message to the funeral home. Not to mention, after all the visits my cat has had at aloha cat and dog, the day I put her down was the first time any of the vets ever opened her mouth to check inside, which is where the main health issue my cat had was. I'm glad to say, I am not ever recommending aloha cat and dog to new patients and also my mother will no longer be taking her dog there. Read Less

The staff at Aloha Dog and Cat Hospital, from techs and front office staff to veterinarians, are all great at what they do. They have compassion for animals and their humans. I have been to other vets where the front office staff seemed to change each time I went in, and that hasn't happened at this place ... I would like to thank the doctors and staff at AD&CH for the care they gave to my cat Oz over the last ~8 years. I had a total of 17 years with Oz, and I don't think it would have been that long without their care. Oz passed at home on Monday, which is what he probably preferred. Worst vet clinic I have ever been to. There pricing are outrageous and all of the people that work there are completely rude. All the did was check my kittens temperature & weigh her then check her ears and they charged us 60 god damn dollars. Do not go here. Update ; 2 days later and now my baby kitten is dead after they said nothing was wrong other then maybe having low blood sugar do not take your animals here they will get missed diagnosed and you won't even know it vets are supposed to help make your animal better not say nothing's wrong and charge you a ton of money for no reason Read Less

I have been a client at Aloha Dog and Cat for many years and have not had a problem, not a single issue. Everyone has been wonderful and great. I always tell people try my vet clinic they are great there. One of the people I sent there called me a little over a week ago and told me she took my advice and saw a new Doctor there and....... she was awful. I pointed out I had known they hired someone new but hadn't had the chance to meet her. My friend told me she barely even looked at her animal and spoke to her in a condescending attitude the whole time. I decided to check myself since one of my kitties was coming close to being due for a check up. She was awful. What happened to my vet clinic. I have never been spoken too so rudely before she acted like I was an idiot. I will still recommend this clinic but i will not recommend her and I plan on talking to the owner about this I love this clinic and I don't want it to go out of business based on a poor hiring choice. Had to make that decision this morning... the one we all dread. At 17 years old, our cat Riley was fading fast. His hips had finally failed him. I took him to our local vet, who insisted we pay for a full exam before they would consider euthanasia. ""Ruling out all other medical care options."" As if this isn't hard enough? Total bill 240.00. To make matters worse, they couldn't ""fit him in"" until the next day. I went home sobbing and got out the yellow pages. 10 calls later, I found Aloha Dog & Cat Hospital. From the first moment we spoke, the staff was compassionate and helpful. They too, had a busy schedule.. but made special arrangements to meet me immediately. The doctor graciously walked me through the procedure beforehand. The technicians were so kind and thoughful. I was not rushed. We took things at the pace I could handle. When it was time to say goodbye - I felt a sense of peace and relief. Five stars. I thank them so so much. We will be returning to Aloha Dog & Cat for all our veterinary needs. No question!
