Front office is great, Dr. Grotbeck is great, but Dr. Lueck is not. I cannot go over all the issues that I've had with him over the many years as a client here, as I wouldn't be able to stop writing. I'll just say that he is rough with my animals, overly opinionated, unfriendly and frequently very wrong. After several second opinions on several issues, I have learned that the hard and expensive way. He told me once that my dog has anxiety (only at the vet) because I must spend too much time with him. Really? He only hates going to vet because I spend too much time with him? I work 50 hours per week. That's asinine. I heard my dog screaming and whining in the back for over an hour one visit, but Dr. Lueck lied and told me that he calmed down immediately once he took him back. Does he really not know that you can hear everything from the lobby? My other dog was sick for weeks because he kept misdiagnosing her. The ER vet discovered and cured the problem immediately by watching a video that I took of her during an episode she was having. When I tried to show Dr. Lueck the same video first because he wasn't listening to me, he told me that he didn't need to see a video of a sick dog. Most recently, either he lied or the office lied about why he didn't tell me my dog was overdue for a vaccine during his visit, which had a comprehensive exam. This then resulted in me being charged for a second comprehensive exam a week later when my doggie daycare advised me that he was overdue for his shot. Isn't that part of the comprehensive exam... to make sure that he's current on vaccines? From the first story I got from the front office after reading through my chart, which was the vet had discontinued it for my dog since they didn't think he had any risk of being boarded, I believe he lied to cover up his mistake. I could be wrong on that one, but after all the other problems I've had with him, I doubt it. The front office said they would discuss it with the vet and someone would get back to me later that day, but no one did. The second story I got the following day was that Dr. Lueck stated he advised me that my dog was overdue and I declined the vaccine. This did not happen and has never happened in the history of me having pets. Not to mention that the vaccine was due in February and Dr. Lueck has seen him multiple times since then. Never has he mentioned it, which leads me to believe the first story. Now why would he decide that my dog doesn't need the vaccine anymore because he has no risk of being boarded, when he has been going to doggie daycare and boarding for 8 years? This place is great when I get to see Dr. Grotbeck, but that doesn't happen often. I will only bring my pets in when Dr. Grotbeck is working and available. Otherwise, I will move on. Read Less
