This is probably the best vet clinic I've ever been to! Dr. Erdman was a delight! I brought my dog in because of a yeast infection in his ear. Dr. Erdman and the staff took great care of us. She spent over an hour with my dog and I, and I truly felt like she cared! She was so informative and did a great job showing me how to treat my dog for his yeast infection. She even let me know that I could bring my dog in the office in a week to see if his infection cleared up at no extra charge. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is because I paid a little more than I was expecting and wanted to. I thought the visit would be right under $100 and I ended up spending $150. If I ever need to take my dogs to the vet, Dr. Erdman will forever have my business! And the office was very clean and inviting. Read Less

Our beloved golden retriever Rory started seeing Dr. Erdman 10 years ago as a pup. She got her through puppyhood, severe skin/airborne allergies, and a mast cell tumor, that eventually spread and took her life. We were able to have her for two extra years after her diagnosis because of Dr. Erdman's care and expertise. She loves these pets and families like they're her own and we trust her and the Laurelwood team implicitly. We recommend them to everyone we know who's looking for the best care for their fur babies! I have taken my Yorkies and other dogs to Dr. Earp for the last 20 years and I cannot say enough in praise of him. He is not only technically detailed and keeps up with ongoing veterinary education, but he is also a warm, loving, and kind person who deeply loves animals and seeks their best welfare. He is not a vet just out for the money, he is a HUMAN. I have walked in before and seen him in tears over a dog run over or having to be put down, one they could not save. Many times in the past, I have been waiting during an appointment and have heard him patiently taking the time with another client to explain things to them and answer their questions. So I could never be impatient because the same care he gave that person, I also received time and time and time again. He has never been one to rush you through something or make you feel he is in a hurry, that he doesn't care about hearing your input, or not allowing time to go through treatment options. Yes, excellent care for your animals costs money and that is the commitment you make when you get them. We have found Dr. Earp to be a competent and caring vet who listens to our concerns and investigates alternative treatment options with which he is unfamiliar. Our 4-year old terrier mix has seizures, and Dr. Earp has worked closely with us to try to manage her condition. We don't feel pressured for diagnostics of questionable usefulness but at the same time don't feel like we're being brushed off for our concerns regarding potential side effects of the standard medication regimen. Dr. Earp consults with his specialist colleagues and then returns phone messages promptly to discuss his recommendations. We feel our dogs are in good hands, and have referred several other people and their pets to his care. Read Less

Read Less
