While the actual office and all the assistants who work there are LOVELY, this review is for the vet herself. She is the definition of a b****. We took two animals there who had to be euthanized due to cancer and she was HORRIBLE and RUDE the entire time from the moment we walked into the office. When we walked in she was yelling and reprimanding one of her assistants (who was a sweetheart btw) in the lobby and didn't stop when clients walked in...she just kept yelling at her. SO unprofessional and in my opinion not ok in the first place. It made us very uncomfortable and I felt bad for the employee. Then when she came back to do the euthanasia she was argumentative and combative to my mother on whether the animals had been seen there before or not (does it really matter?? They are about to be put down!!) Then she was pulling on the animals lips and showing my mother that she was missing a tooth. DOES IT MATTER?! You are putting a very sick animal through unneeded stress moments before putting her down. She had ZERO compassion for my mother or the animals. When she entered the room there was a cold vibe that came with her. She was a cold-hearted, cruel woman the entire time we were there not only to us, but to the animals and her employees as well. I would NEVER bring another animal there EVER. That woman needs to learn compassion and kindness. I cannot believe the way she treated the animals and us during such a difficult time. It seemed that we were just another walking dollar bill for her. I honestly don't understand how she has lasted this long as a vet if the way I saw her treat two animals about to be euthanized is the way she treats all animals. Thorough and thoughtful care. We have had 3 dogs all seen by Coburg Veterinary. The staff has always been very thorough while also showering all our dogs with love and affection. While our last dog had to be put down, due to lymphoma, Dr. Michele and her assistant came to our home and tenderly laid our boy to rest. She took care of us and our loved one. We now have a new pup and she and her staff have shown him the same love and tenderness. We couldn't be happier. Read Less

I cannot speak highly enough about this clinic! They have been, by far, the best veterinary team that I have ever encountered. They truly care about their patients and their families. They are always working with me to provide the best care for my dog in a way that is manageable and affordable for our family. They provide the warmest, friendliest service and are constantly finding ways to improve the care of my dog. He has severe allergies and requires a lot of special care, and they have gotten him into the best shape he has been in his life! They lied about services. They lied about prices. Bottom line my dog is critically ill and they don't have the equipment or meds to do cardio work ups. The vet was rude arrogant and money hungry. Highly Recommend the Coburg Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Nugent and the staff are affordable, caring and Great with our pets. Most of my family has taken their furry family members there for years. They always follow up on how our pets are doing. One time they even came to the house when a pet was unable to be taken in. They have the small town feel to the personal touch they give. We've been bringing our cats to the Coburg Veterinary Clinic for many years. Dr. Nugent and her staff are caring and knowledgeable. They always follow up to see how the cats are doing afterward. Dr. Michelle saved our elderly cat's life at one point, and he went on to live a handful more fulfilling years (we estimate he lived to the age of around 27!). Dr. Michele has been our vet for several years. She is kind & compassionate--so are her employees. Our pets love going there because of all the attention they receive. They are located in a darling vintage home, which is a lovely environment for all of us. There is a city park across the street where our dogs can do their business & blow off a little exuberance. We have taken advantage of the house calls service when we have had to say good-bye to a beloved pet. It also comes in handy when everyone needs boosters & they all won't fit into a Mini Cooper.
