I would give no stars if it was an option!
The most neglectful Doctors I have come across in 38 years.
They did not address the issue I repeatedly brought my pet in for and did not put this problem in...
I would give no stars if it was an option!
The most neglectful Doctors I have come across in 38 years.
They did not address the issue I repeatedly brought my pet in for and did not put this problem in his chart.
They addressed some minor issues and when my pet needed to be brought back for the original problem I get charged for another visit.
I pay my bills in full every time I go in and try not to get to upset about the additional charges.
This last time was unacceptable.
I was in 1 week ago for the original issue that started 1year ago and yet it has never been put in his chart or fixed.
They treat him for something but not the main issue.
After spending over $230 last week and hundreds more previously, on whatever they decide to treat him for, they would not treat him today for the issue I keep bring him in for without at least another $200 paid today.
The Doctor said it could be very dangerous if untreated and yet refused to treat him without payment.
Again I brought him in last week for this issue and have tried to have them address it many times prior. Now he is very sick.
If you choose to still use this clinic I strongly suggest you read your pets chart before you leave.
Do not trust these Doctors to have your pets health as a priority.
Their passion is not in animals it seems to be in money.
Note: I wasnt asking for an extended period of time to pay. This was Wednesday and I just needed until Friday to pay the balance in full.
I was told I would have to bring him back Friday then, they could not teat him without payment.
My pet was sent away sick and in pain!

When Dr. Bill Steinkruger was the owner this clinic was amazing. Do not trust these new doctors with your pets. They practice terrifying medicine, keep anesthetic patients overnight every time with no staff there to watch them, and cats are hog-tied all night to prevent them from chewing their incisions since they had an unsupervised cat kill herself from suture dehiscence. Be advised.

I took my pit bulls here and they were nice enough to fit us in the schedule. It was a bit pricey but what Healthcare is cheap. Both my furries were treated with care and my concerns with them heard. I did feel that some points were pushed when I backed out of flea and tick medication because I ordered it online.
The staff was friendly and doctor very competent and friendly too. I'd recommend a visit

They are fantastic with the animals as well as the mama's and daddys. I had to take my Boston Terrier in for an emergency C section and it was late in the day but they took us in quickly. Now I have 4 healthy baby boys for Christmas.

We were on travel and our service dog was in excruciating pain when we got to Cottage Grove. We called Forest Valley to see if they could work our dog into their schedule. They said to bring him in immediately and they would see him. Dr. Bruce was awesome. He examined our pup and explained what he was finding as he went along. Apparently the dog had over done it at the beach and was having muscle cramps/joint issues. The clinic took xrays to make certain it wasn't something more serious, Dr. Bruce discussed the xrays with us, and diagnosed. We were given a muscle relaxer and an anti-inflammatory and within 24 hours, the pup was doing much better; within 72 hours he was almost back to normal. I can't thank them enough for the care and consideration they showed our pup and us (we were pretty distraught not knowing what was going on with him). They are the best. I only wish they had a practice closer to where we live. Thanks from Otto and family.

My sister and her husband had to have their husky wolf mix put down on Monday 2/15/16 and decided they were going to do a cremation, forest valley told them it would take at least a week to get his ashes back but to our surprise they called my sister this morning 2/17/16 and said "he" was ready to be picked up! A+ forest valley! You guys are amazing

I love Forest Valley. As an 'exotic' animal owner, that many regular vets don't know how to identify, treat, or work with, Forest Valley has not only been happy to see us, and accommodate our needs, but they have taken advice regarding our specific animals incredibly well. The vet even did research on wolfdogs getting the rabies shot before we brought our boy in, to make sure that it would A- still work on him and B- not affect him negatively.
Upon bringing him in, they understood that as a wolfdog he was a 'special needs' sort of patient and did everything necessary to make sure he would be comfortable. This is not common for most veterinary clinics and honestly, I couldn't be happier about their knowledge, bedside manner, and willingness to learn.

As an 'exotic' animal owner, that many regular vets don't know how to identify, treat, or work with, Forest Valley has not only been happy to see us, and accommodate our needs, but they have taken advice regarding our specific animals incredibly well. The vet even did research on wolfdogs getting the rabies shot before we brought our boy in, to make sure that it would A- still work on him and B- not affect him negatively.

They did not address the issue I repeatedly brought my pet in for and did not put this problem in his chart.

The vet even did research on wolfdogs getting the rabies shot before we brought our boy in, to make sure that it would A- still work on him and B- not affect him negatively.
Upon bringing him in, they understood that as a wolfdog he was a 'special needs' sort of patient and did everything necessary to make sure he would be comfortable. This is not common for most veterinary clinics and honestly, I couldn't be happier about their knowledge, bedside manner, and willingness to learn.
