Dr. Wes Violet and Dr. Kristine Willaman, a husband and wife team own and operate the South Willamette Veterinary Clinic in Creswell, Oregon, along with associate Dr. Eleanor Teplin. Combined, they have over 50 years of animal expertise and experience.

Equine and large animal emergency calls are answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Ok ive dwelled on this now every day since the day daisy was so rudely took way from me and her life. The dvm at witch daisy life solely depended on made a fatal error that was the sole reason for her death. It was completly uncalled for and something a dvm at any experance leval should of known better to make. How can anyone let alone a dvm inject a drug into anything if they are not fully aware of all the side effect and consequence of doing so. The vdm and clinic cant say... what they like to try and excuse it as some thing unknown if they wish but ive done my home work and spend hr after hour doing the research. And it just keeps comming back to the same conclusion the second Hailee A Olheiser DVM injected daisy with the Hydromorphone when daisy was already in the recovery stages it was over for her and death now was the only possible out come. This is why they did not want to pay over time oay to have someone stay over and care for her and sent her home while still unconance. Awful thing to say but they had to know at this point it nothing could be done so why pay the over time. Being they refuse to give any reasons as to why this is the only real thing that make any since as toon why and yes there is more. The day before daisys surgery. I personally made a request that the due to the fact there were more than one check thats standard for a full check up missed and not performed that a more experanced dvm due the surgery and was insured by doctor kris the clinic owner That this would happen. It didnt, and the very dvm that i was told wouldnt do the surgery did and we all know know the truth as to the outcome. See More

I have always had positive experiences at this clinic. I always feel that the fees are reasonable and that the vet and other staff members are genuinely caring. I am always given straight information about treatment options and pricing as well as information as to why the vet suggests the course of treatment she suggests. I have been to a few clinics where I am not given nearly as much information and where the pricing is more substantial. It is a short drive from Eugene and well worth a few extra minutes in the car to visit this clinic. I highly recommend them.

I can't say enough good things about this vet clinic. My husband and I drive 27 hours (one way) to breed our dog but after several attempts to breed naturally, our dogs failed to tie. In a last ditch effort to get something out of our long trip, we walked in to the clinic to ask if they can do artificial insemination. The front desk staff was super friendly and accommodating. They did everything they could to squeeze us in that day since we needed to start our 27 hour trip back home. Dr Willaman was beyond amazing. Not to sound too cliche but she truly did go above and beyond to help us out in such a desperate time. Great service and great staff. You can tell they truly care about animals, even when they aren't their regular patients.

I contacted south Willamette vet because my 12 year old cow dog had a stroke and was unable to walk with out falling I knew he was in bad shape and realized he might have to be put down, with that in mind I made it to there office ,the dude hated going into the vet so I asked if they could come outside and take a look at him and that's when I met Dr. Prokop, I could not have hoped for a better person to help me at this time. Allison and staff went above and beyond to make sure not only my dog (The Dude) was treated with compassion but that I was ok as well .Allison made the hard experience of having to put down my animal bearable.I would strongly recommend seeing Dr prokop if you need a vet for your animal.

Okay, first off the desk receptionist was aweful. I had an EMERGENCY where my poor Athena couldn't stop puking not knowing she had PARVO! We had to wait 20 minutes in line while they were just talking in the phone and helping an old lady with medicine. "Can you put the person on hold" asked the lady to the other, and she did so just for her to answer some dumb questions about some dumb medication which was not LIFE THREATENING AT ALL. My dog still puking they just ignored us until the women on the phone asked what I was in for. Not only was she VERY RUDE, she took her precious time to check if they had a doctor available. When she came back she said with the most slowest and monotone voice, "Im sorry we cannot see her because we are very busy today." (When there was obviously no cars outside and if they WERE busy then, as a worker she should have known that.) She was absolutly the worst and did NOT care whatsoever. I do NOT recommend this place, for an emergency service, you guys are the WORST. Thanks for nothing. I took my child to Cottage grove for her to be treated and is currently going through recovery.

I have never had a problem until my encounter with their most recent receptionist.I have no problem complying with laws and rules regarding office visit relating to heart guard and flea meds being purchased. It's the rude and condescending way this was presented to us that I have an issue with.

Wanted to pass some info along to any other local piggy parents! We got our pig neutered today. The closest to us was the South Willamette vet in Creswell. They had originally quoted us $250- $350. Then called us this morning to let us know that his boy parts hadn't fully dropped so it would be a little more invasive and maybe around $50 more, so between $300- $400. We thought it was great that they called to confirm that we still wanted to do it. But then they called to let us know it was done, total cost for the day, $252 and that included a hoof trim we requested! We are so impressed with this vet, and highly recommend them! They are very friendly and have showed us that they aren't just in it for the money. They truly care about their customers and animals. They didn't get annoyed with me at all when I called several times with multiple questions either. Definitely give this vet a chance. Wonderful stuff and services!

I've been to many vet clinics around the Eugene/Springfield, although South Willamette is a distance from this area, it's the best I've been to. I feel like my pets have been well cared for by Dr. Teplin, the facility is clean and the staff friendly. For the price and service, I gladly drive a half hour to come here.

I want to give a huge shout out to South Willamette Vet clinic, Dr. Emma, Dr. Ellie, and Dr. Wes Violet! Fortunately I have not had much experience with hoof abscesses. But that also means I'm not very knowledgeable about them either. They have given me wonderful help, support and great care thru Sequoia's recovery. I think they are hands down the best very clinic in the area. Dr. Wes Violet has been my vet as long as I can remember and had helped my horses and ones I've know thru some pretty horrible situations. Thank you all for all that you do!

Our family has been using Kris and Wes as our primary vets for the past almost 20 years now. They are some of the most hard working and diligent people and vets I have known. Their rates are very competitive and service is great. Though I have been living out of state for the past 10 years, they have helped review labs, give second opinions without haste. Not a fancy place with lots of bells and whistles but everything you need.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Dr. Wes Violet for the extraordinary job he has taken for my POA gelding Bear. Back in October Bear had skin cancer on his sheath called Squamous-cell carcinoma. After Dr. Wes froze the tumors off and sent off to OSU for testing, we thought everyone would be okay! After the first week Bears sheath continued to stay swollen, so Dr. Wes came out on his day off to check on him. Gave him some antibiotics and a spray to kill the necrotic tissue caused by freezer burn due to the removal of the tumors. Bear was on the road to recovery !! Then the week of thanksgiving we thought bears tumors were coming back! Dr. Wes came back to check on Bear and with the greatest news it was just some scabs he removed them and told me Bear was as good as new! All in all Dr. Wes Violet has went above and beyond for the care of my horse and making sure to explain everything to me. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a caring and thoughtful vet. Happy Holidays to all the staff and I am hoping not to see you till vacation time! :) Tanya McBurney

Very friendly, compassionate & attentive staff.They've saved not only my dog, but my grandfather's dog as well. As he is on a very limited fixed income, money is an issue. Based on past experience & having worked in veterinary hospitals before, I thought my grandfather's ICU/overnight bills were going to total over a thousand dollars. It came back just over 400. Amazing. They do great work here & don't overcharge. Love the staff, recommended to animal lovers!

I love how much time they always seem to spend with us and our pets. My husband says that he thinks they are cheaper then some of the vets we've had before. He also likes that they tell you how much everything is going to cost before doing it. Our one dog only had minimal shots and we will be tittering her later. They were happy to go along with that which also made us happy.

My horse has always received the best care from SWV. Dr. Violet takes the time to explain and show me what the diagnosis is and what needs to be done. I appreciate he frankness and sense of humor. One important thing, to me, is my horse likes him and his staff.

Okay, first off the desk receptionist was aweful. I had an EMERGENCY where my poor Athena couldn't stop puking not knowing she had PARVO! We had to wait 20 minutes in line while they were just talking...
Okay, first off the desk receptionist was aweful. I had an EMERGENCY where my poor Athena couldn't stop puking not knowing she had PARVO! We had to wait 20 minutes in line while they were just talking in the phone and helping an old lady with medicine. "Can you put the person on hold" asked the lady to the other, and she did so just for her to answer some dumb questions about some dumb medication which was not LIFE THREATENING AT ALL. My dog still puking they just ignored us until the women on the phone asked what I was in for. Not only was she VERY RUDE, she took her precious time to check if they had a doctor available. When she came back she said with the most slowest and monotone voice, "Im sorry we cannot see her because we are very busy today." (When there was obviously no cars outside and if they WERE busy then, as a worker she should have known that.) She was absolutly the worst and did NOT care whatsoever. I do NOT recommend this place, for an emergency service, you guys are the WORST. Thanks for nothing. I took my child to Cottage grove for her to be treated and is currently going through recovery.

I have been taking my two dogs and three cats to this clinic for over a decade. I have never had a problem until my encounter with their most recent receptionist.I have no problem complying with laws and rules regarding office visit relating to heart guard and flea meds being purchased. It's the rude and condescending way this was presented to us that I have an issue with.

Wanted to pass some info along to any other local piggy parents! We got our pig neutered today. The closest to us was the South Willamette vet in Creswell. They had originally quoted us $250- $350. Then called us this morning to let us know that his boy parts hadn't fully dropped so it would be a little more invasive and maybe around $50 more, so between $300- $400. We thought it was great that they called to confirm that we still wanted to do it. But then they called to let us know it was done, total cost for the day, $252 and that included a hoof trim we requested! We are so impressed with this vet, and highly recommend them! They are very friendly and have showed us that they aren't just in it for the money. They truly care about their customers and animals. They didn't get annoyed with me at all when I called several times with multiple questions either. Definitely give this vet a chance. Wonderful stuff and services!

I've been to many vet clinics around the Eugene/Springfield, although South Willamette is a distance from this area, it's the best I've been to. I feel like my pets have been well cared for by Dr. Teplin, the facility is clean and the staff friendly. For the price and service, I gladly drive a half hour to come here.

I want to give a huge shout out to South Willamette Vet clinic, Dr. Emma, Dr. Ellie, and Dr. Wes Violet! Fortunately I have not had much experience with hoof abscesses. But that also means I'm not very knowledgeable about them either. They have given me wonderful help, support and great care thru Sequoia's recovery. I think they are hands down the best very clinic in the area. Dr. Wes Violet has been my vet as long as I can remember and had helped my horses and ones I've know thru some pretty horrible situations. Thank you all for all that you do!

Our family has been using Kris and Wes as our primary vets for the past almost 20 years now. They are some of the most hard working and diligent people and vets I have known. Their rates are very competitive and service is great. Though I have been living out of state for the past 10 years, they have helped review labs, give second opinions without haste. Not a fancy place with lots of bells and whistles but everything you need.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Dr. Wes Violet for the extraordinary job he has taken for my POA gelding Bear. Back in October Bear had skin cancer on his sheath called Squamous-cell carcinoma. After Dr. Wes froze the tumors off and sent off to OSU for testing, we thought everyone would be okay! After the first week Bears sheath continued to stay swollen, so Dr. Wes came out on his day off to check on him. Gave him some antibiotics and a spray to kill the necrotic tissue caused by freezer burn due to the removal of the tumors. Bear was on the road to recovery !! Then the week of thanksgiving we thought bears tumors were coming back! Dr. Wes came back to check on Bear and with the greatest news it was just some scabs he removed them and told me Bear was as good as new! All in all Dr. Wes Violet has went above and beyond for the care of my horse and making sure to explain everything to me. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a caring and thoughtful vet. Happy Holidays to all the staff and I am hoping not to see you till vacation time! :) Tanya McBurney

Very friendly, compassionate & attentive staff.They've saved not only my dog, but my grandfather's dog as well. As he is on a very limited fixed income, money is an issue. Based on past experience & having worked in veterinary hospitals before, I thought my grandfather's ICU/overnight bills were going to total over a thousand dollars. It came back just over 400. Amazing. They do great work here & don't overcharge. Love the staff, recommended to animal lovers!

I love how much time they always seem to spend with us and our pets. My husband says that he thinks they are cheaper then some of the vets we've had before. He also likes that they tell you how much everything is going to cost before doing it. Our one dog only had minimal shots and we will be tittering her later. They were happy to go along with that which also made us happy.
