I really like this place and the people who work here. Dr.Rivers is a knowledgeable and caring veterinarian who has helped our 4-legged family members on numerous occasions, even after hours. It is my understanding he treats both small and large animals (ie.horses, cows). His staff are knowledgeable, cheerful,friendly and helpful...even to the extent of carrying big bags of dog food out to your car to assist you, the customer. And speaking of dog food, they sell prescribed dog and cat foods from their office. I need to get a special food for my dog and this particular food is pricey . Fortunately, Dr. Rivers does NOT overprice these foods. In comparison shopping, his prices were less than other vets and less than large on-line pet stores. Orchard Animal Hospital also offers a discount to seniors. Medications for pets can be filled at this clinic when prescribed by Dr Rivers. It saves a trip to a pharmacy and again, pricing is reasonable. This place is great...your pets will think so too.

I love this vet! Dr. Rivers is very caring and knowledgeable. The prices are affordable and alternatives are given when the cost gets high. They will do anything they can to accommodate you and get your animal in when needed. I only wish they took Care Credit.

I've been going to this vet for 15 years and he genuinely cares about the animals. Not to mention good prices. I bring in my pets and for 6$ I get good quality flea treatments done then leave within minutes. My dog had an abscess in her neck from a mosquito bite or something from our hike and instead of having to pay for the overnight stay and expensive things he told me a remedy with a hot wet towel and it worked! I've gone to other animal hospitals in Dallas and they're good like but personally I think he's the best.

Dr. Rivers is great! My dog liked him the second he met him and he was scared from having previous surgeries at vet clinics. He was so gentle and soft spoken with him, that it made him feels safe. I've never encountered any issues with Orchard animal clinic or than it may be hard to get an appointment due to so many clients. Great vet and reasonable prices!

Dr. Rivers is a very honest and caring vet who not only does a great job but he helps you save money, often to his own detriment. He explains all of your options clearly and doesn't play any games trying to force you into paying for services you don't need, such as, some vets will try to make you pay for a pet exam before they will sell you flea control, but not Orchard Animal Hospital. I've used them for over a decade and they've always done a great job. I feel my pets are safe with them and don't get stressed as much as they do with other vets. Plus it is centrally located, which is important, because my pets freak out when I take them for a drive. They're also fast with blood test results. They bend over backwards to fit me in and always seem to have an opening when my pets are really sick and need urgent care. They are happy to sell you their medications in stock, which are lower than other vets, or they will give you a prescription or fax it to a place where you can get it for less, such as an online discount pet med supplier. They are also very good about letting me know when it's time to give my pets their vaccines and such. If you want good service, low prices and help with savings, as well as prompt appointments and loving, tender care from an honest vet, this is a great choice.

I really like this place and the people who work here. Dr.Rivers is a knowledgeable and caring veterinarian who has helped our 4-legged family members on numerous occasions, even after hours. It is my understanding he treats both small and large animals (ie.horses, cows). His staff are knowledgeable, cheerful,friendly and helpful...even to the extent of carrying big bags of dog food out to your car to assist you, the customer. I love this vet! Dr. Rivers is very caring and knowledgeable. The prices are affordable and alternatives are given when the cost gets high. They will do anything they can to accommodate you and get your animal in when needed. I only wish they took Care Credit.

I bring in my pets and for 6$ I get good quality flea treatments done then leave within minutes. Dr. Rivers is great! My dog liked him the second he met him and he was scared from having previous surgeries at vet clinics. He was so gentle and soft spoken with him, that it made him feels safe. I've never encountered any issues with Orchard animal clinic or than it may be hard to get an appointment due to so many clients. Great vet and reasonable prices!
