They took care of my Mercy girl when I first moved to Eugene. They were very respectful and professional when I had to put her down. I called them when they opened (unexpected passing), and they helped me get her inside and had the room ready for us. They even gave me time to say goodbye and I didn't feel rushed. They even took a paw print for me, and sent a rose after she passed. Now that I have Ollie, they're still awesome, and I can get same day appointments for urgent issues. Everyone is super nice. On Thanksgiving Day, my 3 year old, 75 lb Rottweiler/Shepherd jumped up onto the bed and immediately cried out in pain. He did not move the rest of the day, nor did not he eat, drink, or try to walk despite his normal rambunctious personality. We had friends over for “Friendsgiving,” and Buddy didn’t move to greet anyone... no wagging tail, no puppy kisses, no begging for yummy turkey scraps or honey baked ham. Something was seriously wrong. We tried to get some sleep Thank...sgiving night, but listened to Buddy’s whimpering and cuddled next to our trembling and panting pooch. After calling our normal veterinary practice first thing the next morning, and being told they could not even work Buddy in to be seen as an emergency, i then called the Emergency Veterinary Clinic and was told that I could drop him off, leave him, and they would examine him as they were able- after all, it was the day after Thanksgiving, and they were extremely busy. My son reminded me of Bush Animal Hospital off Coburg, so I called them to explain what was going on with our dog. A sweet, polite, caring voice answered the phone and asked me if I could come over and bring Buddy right now? The veterinary staff would be more than happy to work him in and they’d make time to see him emergently. An Angelic voice had offered compassion and understanding, so we hurriedly got in the car and went to visit Dr. Gibson. Thoroughness, attention to detail, listening to our concerns, and sensing our anxiety, Dr. Gibson took all the time she needed to give our dog a complete physical exam and assured us Buddy was going to be OK. She was down on the floor with our dog, maneuvering his joints, feeling his spine, and shared a very optimistic prognosis with us. The care we received at Bush Animal Hospital was exceptional, efficient, and so very appreciated. As with every veterinary clinic, expect to pay a lot of money here. But the money is always worth it if they treat your babies right. They always let me bring both my car and dog in at the same time for their yearly exams and that makes it helpful. The medicines they have prescribed for my pets have worked for them. Everyone seems to really care about my pets and treat them as their own. When we're waiting in the vet someone up front or one of the assistants always wants to pet my animals and give them treats which makes for a good experience for them. Thanks Bush Animal Hospital! Ended up there because my vet was closed and my cat seriously injured. Couldn't have asked for any better experience! Receptionist was awesome, Dr's help was sweet, very caring and oh so gentle. Dr. himself was incredible! Showed me every thing he saw, informed me of prices before any treatments, let me take a picture of the x-ray and then burned a copy onto a disk to take to the surgeon so I didn't have to pay for them to do a second x-ray! Sold us a "paw plan". When there last, vet told us 1 dog needed dental work. He explained that was not covered by the paw plan. Which I have no problem with. They then did other stuff, not mentioning that it was not covered. 4 days later I got an unexpected invoice. Not happy. Had I known the costs, I would have waited on one, and been ready for the bill on the other. Whilst my dog was out of sight, without asking or informing, they trimmed his claws. They are so fantastic! My dog Beau is always so excited to rush in and greet all of the staff! The day of his surgery they thoroughly explained what was going to take place in surgery, they called immediately after to let me know everything went well, and texted me a picture of him outside in the sun. It was the availability for a pressing appointment that landed us at Bush. But it's the excellent care, & caring doctors & staff that won us over forever to provide care for our pet & future pets. They are very professional, yet quite personable & approachable. They address all questions & concerns without making us feeling like "overly concerned" pet parents no matter how trivial they may seem. All the doctors & staff we've met are so friendly & pleasant. We love Dr. Gibson & technician Jamie - they are pawesome! Sadly, we entrusted the care of our beloved cats to the vets at Bush for years. We have now moved all of them and will never go back. One problem went unresolved for years, with numerous rounds of testing and relapses, until we had to move out-of-state temporarily. The out-of-state vet (and not a fancy one) solved it in one visit. Another problem was diagnosed correctly but grievously under-treated. We had no idea how serious it was, so we did exactly as they instructed, which was far too little. We called repeatedly to report that things were not improving, but they put us off until the time of the originally-scheduled follow-up visit. At that point it was too late. When we complained to the vet who saw us, she said it would be "too awkward" to tell the diagnosing vet that we were furious at the delay and neglect. Getting the records transferred to another vet was a further struggle, as Bush would not answer the calls from the other vet's office, and it took numerous direct calls myself finally to get them transferred. The intake exam with the new vet showed, not surprisingly at this point, that other problems had gone undiscovered. The Bush vets seem competent, but they are not proactive and they are not forthcoming with information. Protect your furry friends and take them somewhere else. Read Less

So far so good The vet  and his assistant we're very concerned polite and listened attentively. Our first visit with my cat Daffy went well he received a rabies shot a once over by the vet a prescription for some Eyemedicine-he may have gotten scratched in a catfight.  The total bill came to $130 $32 of which was the eye medicine. After the visit I did go online and find the same medicine for $16. I was too lazy to go back and return it and order medicine from the Internet because I wanted daffy  to get his treatment right away.   All in all it was a good experience but it was just the first visit and time will tell. Bush Animal Hospital was recommended by a friend when I moved to Eugene.  Their customer service is above and beyond. Actually, I don't feel like a customer. More like a family member. Coco (73 lb, 10 year old dog) loves going there. They got us in for an appointment on short notice, were excited to see us and very informative. I'm very happy we discovered Bush Animal Hospital. They are an amazing veterinary clinic- the entire staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and Dr. Beyerinck is amazing with our black lab. Our dog actually *likes* going to the vet! We've had our pup for only 3.5 months and in that time he's managed to catch kennel cough and Giardia. Exceptional care from the phone call making the appointment to walking out the door at the end. Receptionist was friendly, helpful, and professional. Two of the doctors were specifically recommended by another veterinarian but I was assured any of the doctor's would be good. We were able to see Dr. Gibson as requested but I would not have been disappointed otherwise. First visit with my 3 month old Vizsla. The staff played with the pup and oriented her to the office, then the tech did a careful evaluation and health history - offering assistance where she felt competent but encouraging me to discuss some issues with the doctor. Dr. Gibson spent an hour with "Josey" and me - examining, evaluating, and answering questions. She then gave me answers to several questions that I had forgotten to ask :-) We were looking for a veterinarian who really had special skills with canines. As a dentist myself, I have lots of questions and can be challenging of conventional thinking but Dr. Gibson was happy to address all my concerns, thoughts, and ideas. I could not be more pleased. I absolutely love this vet! They are the best group of people you will ever meet and trust your pet's health to them. My animals always see Dr. Newman, and both cats really seem to like him. My cats aren't exactly the most well-behaved in a veterinarian office either. One will find some way to embarrass me or inconvenience the staff there. They just roll with it, as I'm sure mine are nowhere near the worst. Dr. Newman goes out of his way to work with my animals, and tolerates their weird quirks. My cat found a corner of the room he liked once, and was fine there, until you tried to move him. The doc gets down on his hands and knees on the floor to examine my cat, and keep him happy and calm in that corner. It was mortifying to me, but that's the kind of care they give. Allison and Corina are the best receptionists possible. They are so warm, welcoming, and helpful. They answer all my questions, with a smile, tolerate scheduling difficulties, and so much more. I absolutely love bringing my pets in here because the prices are good, and the level of care my pets receive is beyond excellent. I have never had a complaint here, or a bad experience. We have  been with Bush Animal Hospital since 2002. Priscilla Gibson, DVM has been taking unbelievably outstanding care of our 5 indoor cats since she has been on staff. I was undecided on which vet to choose to take my kitty to. I called around and started with price quotes, looking for someone who's base exam fee was reasonable. This place got good marks for that. Then I needed someone to discuss my cat's issue, so we could determine urgency and what might be needed for service. The receptionist was AMAZING. He spent like 10 minutes with me discussing my concerns and putting me at ease. The level of care for his job was evident and so I decided to make an appointment. My being impressed did not end there. We made it in time for the appt, the paperwork was minimal and the waiting room was comfortable. There was a pet who made a mess, so we needed to wait a bit longer than expected for our appt, but the Dr. himself came out to keep us updated and let us know the ETA to being seen. Once we were seen, the Dr. gave an extremely comprehensive exam and discussed what he was doing and why each step. I felt educated, reassured and had even learned more about my cat's breed and care for him. I went home happy with the knowledge I have found my new vet. Highly recommend! Read Less

We live in Nevada, but are staying here for an indefinite period of time to take care of my dad. We brought our two furry kids with us.
