We got my mother a young cat last year from animal services that was only partially trained after 6 weeks in foster care. Having been raised in an abandoned house with 15 other cats and captured under what we believe were pretty chaotic conditions, his remaining behavior issue has been absolute terror at having anything around his neck or body, and a strong resistance to being picked up. Having a mobile vet stop by sounded like just the ticket.
Dr. Leslie Irvine and Vet Tech Dani (sp?) were as gentle and efficient with him as any owner could want. They soothed him and by the time he got two vaccinations he didn't even flinch or try to get away. He's come a long way from the little feral guy he was when he was captured and the kind, efficient way they treated him kept him from backsliding in his trust of humans. He slept most the following 24 hrs. and bounced up as goofy and affectionate as ever. I highly recommend this business and these people.

Ends up to be a much better overall experience. Calm! What a fantastic idea for the vet to come to us. She is so caring and reasonable and we have so much confidences with her. Highly recommended!

Bonnie helped me put my two beautiful cat's down. One on Thanksgiving day when I couldn't stand to see him suffer anymore, the other on Easter Sunday when she made it clear she was ready to go. I couldn't ask for a more sensitive, caring, qualified, and attentive veterinarian. She really helped me through the process too. She has my highest praise and confidence.

I am self employed, with two large dogs and a special needs child. Sometimes getting the planets to align to go see the vet is just beyond possible. The idea of having them come to me was intriguing and I have to say there is no going back to sitting in the lobby of fear with my pups. The whole experience was totally worth the very modest premium of having a house call. My dogs were far less stressed and the exam was easy relative to previous visits. Dr. Christensen was great. He was patient and has a great demeanor. You can tell he loves being a vet. My apologies to the tech (Jenny?), but she was enthusiastic, professional in answering my questions and cheerful as well. It felt like having friends in our home to make sure our best friends here were doing ok. It was by far the best experience with a veterinarian I've ever had, well except socially with my cousin, but that's different. If you've got multiple largish animals as far as I am concerned this is the only way to go. Thank you Eugene Mobile Veterinary!

I cannot say enough good things about Sue. She's compassionate and empathetic, yet knowledgable. She helped us by evaluating the severity of our cat's illness and pain. She guided us with compassion and information. Although our experience ended with the loss of our beloved cat, Sue was able to provide us the best care in our home and allow us to have our cat pass on peacefully at home. We are truly grateful for her and the rest of the vet team.

Dr Taylor Howard came out to our home today. Our 14yo border collie was in the final stages of kidney failure and was really starting to suffer. Dr. Howard was so gentle and kind with our dog but also the family that gathered around to comfort her. You could see the deep compassion in Dr. Howard's eyes as he helped our sweet girl relieve her suffering in a dignified and compassionate way right in her home. Thank you is insufficient to the gift we received from Dr. Howard. It was the way our sweet girl would have wanted it.

We had to have our lab Logan euthanized and decided to have it done at home. Dr. Taylor came with His assistant and were great. They really helped us through one if the worst times of my life. The doctor was really kind as he explained everything that was going to happen and his assistant was amazing. She cried almost as much as I did while it happened. Thank you guys so much.

Truly amazing and caring service! After days of heartbreak and tears, Frankie my companion of 11 years just made the journey across the void. I had to put my little buddy down. Frankie hates vet visits and I was not going to have that be his last experience. I called Eugene Mobile Veterinary Services. They were sweet and compassionate and asked all the details about Frankie's health when I called and agreed that it was time. The doctor and his assistant just left here a few hours ago and this was so much better than sticking him in a box he hates, to go to a stranger, and slapping him on a cold metal table. They made it a nice peaceful slow process right on Frankie's favorite spot on the couch. First he administered a sedative so we could all give him pets and affection for about 10 minutes as it worked the magic. Only after he was totally relaxed was the killing agent adminstered - it took less than a few seconds to do the job but Frankie was totally unaware by that time. The moment he passed, I felt his energy go right through me - it was beautiful! All 3 of us were crying like babies at the end. Frankie liked the staff as soon as they came in. .... I am so relieved to see his suffering end in such a dignified and peaceful manner by people who really care about both the pet and the feelings of the owner. I will never even considers another "in office" euthanasia again..... I will also use these folks for any veterinary work I have done. 5 stars :)

Dr. Bonnie Burns and her lovely assistant, (Leah? LeAnne?) are both highly skilled, calm, loving cat wranglers. "Our" kitty is a stray who has lived with us about a year and a half now. She is sweet with us, but has only ever let two other friends even touch her (after feeding her for weeks at a time), so taking her to a regular vet is just not a tempting option. Without the brave and excellent service Dr. Burns provides, Bumbles would be without vaccines.

Bonnie examined my male standard poodle which had been shot by a pellet gun. The wound was not healing timely. She was gentle, easy talking and calming with my dog. He fell in love with her immediately and enjoyed the whole process. With her calm, gentle manner, I would highly recommend Dr. Bonnie to treat your pet. She found other issues as she cared for him and gave me recommendations for the care of those issues. My dog and I appreciated her services. I will be using her again.

We got my mother a young cat last year from animal services that was only partially trained after 6 weeks in foster care. I am self employed, with two large dogs and a special needs child. Sometimes getting the planets to align to go see the vet is just beyond possible. The idea of having them come to me was intriguing and I have to say there is no going back to sitting in the lobby of fear with my pups. I cannot say enough good things about Sue. She's compassionate and empathetic, yet knowledgable. She helped us by evaluating the severity of our cat's illness and pain. She guided us with compassion and information. Although our experience ended with the loss of our beloved cat, Sue was able to provide us the best care in our home and allow us to have our cat pass on peacefully at home.
