Great Vets but boarding is really bad. I picked up my dog today for a 3 day boarding. She was filthy soaking with urine and other wastes. . I was told that they cleaned her up. The condition of my dog when I picked her up was the best thing they can do. I am very sad and very very disappointed. Read Less

Our kitty came in with an emergency yesterday right at the end of the day and they dropped everything and went above and beyond with care. The vet (I don’t know his name) was thorough, impeccably knowledgeable with the ability to quickly identify the situation, had excellent communication and was compassionate. Despite the immediate interventions, we did lose our sweet kitty (she had a heart problem) but we know without a doubt that everything was done to help her and keep her comfortable. We have been coming to Companion for over a decade now. They do a good job of providing treatment options while recognizing that trips to the vet add up quickly. I've never felt pressured about doing extra tests and been very happy with the care they provide. They were so compassionate and accommodating when we had to put our little dog to sleep recently and made a hard day a little easier. We are loyal customers and recommend them highly! Read Less

I've been going here for years. The staff is always super friendly and empathetic when needed. The vets themselves really care about the animals brought in. The same vet has been there for as long as I can remember. Never feels like a hassle here. Walk ins welcome, and they're open until 8pm on weekdays which is nice for the odd schedules I work. Like other reviews this is the second time we've been in for a simple check up only to be sat there for an hour waiting for a vet to come into the room. I put the first time down to bad luck, but neither times were exactly heaving with people.They give no indication that you'll be waiting that long, and communicate nothing. Its a complete disrespect of your time. It's a shame as the vets are nice assuming you have the patience to stick around. I will be going elsewhere... Read Less

We originally started care with our first sibe at another vet, and they were awful. We switched to Companion and have never regretted that decision. They have taken care of both of our huskies as if they were their own, even through some tough times with seizures and kidney stones with our oldest. I would never take my dogs anywhere else. For years we have been going here. My parents have gone here ever since I can remember and when I become a adult I chose to keep taking my animals here. Now I have 1 dog who visits every couple months due to sever allergies, two cats and two rabbits. When we first started having issues with our dog we didn't know what was going on. He was getting skin infections every month and would have to go on antibiotics and steroids. Dr. Pilversack and Dr. Crepeau tried just about everything to prevent him from breaking out. Turns out after doing a environmental allergy panel he is allergic to a lot of things. We have him one the serum and it is working. This has taken us about 2 years to resolve but finally we are there. However the doctors at companion never gave up. Since we have been coming here since I was young we have gotten to know the Vets and the front office people. We have never had a bad experience. I would Strongly Recommend taking your pet to them and know they are in safe hands. Read Less

We have a Blue Heeler and a stray cat (turned domesticated). We've only brought our kids here. Because of our experiences here, we'll never go anywhere else. No appointments necessary which is great because usually it's something that I panic about and bring them in. They're great by email too. Can't recommend them enough!! Read Less

My parents have always taken all their animals here so naturally this is where I bring my animals now. We love all the vets there and all the front end ladies. The vets take excellent care of all of our animals and if you ask for a estimate they happily get it for you. The prices are very reasonable compared to other vets in the area.Read Less

Took my cat in because he was not using his litter box and had soft stool. The vet gave him a urinalysis which tested positive for bacteria so he gave him a shot and recommended that I buy the urinary tract cat food in the clinic. After the visit, my cat only became worse...he started throwing up for weeks and his stool was completely watery for weeks. I called around 3 weeks after visit and told them my cat was worse so they said I could bring him in for a free recheck. I did and the vet told me I needed to change back to the original food (after I had spent $30 for a small bag of their urinary tract food in the clinic - no refunds) and gave him a fecal test which now had bacteria in it. He charged me for the recheck and fecal test and left with nothing except a recommendation to put probiotics in his original food. Terrible service and a complete waste of money. Read Less

Wow they are rude! I called to inquire about a dental cleaning and was yelled at! I was told I would need to come in for a vet appt (and pay) to get an estimate. Many other vets in the area are willing to supply an estimated rate and do not require a paid office visit or rude demeanor! I cannot recommend them more highly. They are walk in so you don't need an appointment and they don't let that get in the way of getting you in quickly and it doesn't limit the quality of care. I had previously had a TERRIBLE experience at Frontier Pet Clinic in Hillsboro. They saw my 4 month old kitten within 15 minutes of walking in the door, the vet was very caring and helped us figure out what was wrong very quickly. My dog was dieing of cancer. I thought it would be best to put him down so he didn't have to suffer. But unfortunately  after the vet giving me hope he could possibly be saved with treatment  I agreed. I called two weeks  in advance to get his prescription refilled as they said he could get very sick if he misses even one dose. When I called to follow up on when I could pick up the medication they gave me the run around. My poor baby died the next day. I am seriously considering sewing this place. would have rated 0 if possible. I've been taking my pets to this location for several years. The services and quality of care have dramatically declined within the past 2 years. They charge for exams/services they don't perform. They take the pets in the back room so you don't even know what they are doing. ( any good vet doesn't do that ) I felt like the entire staff from the receptionist,vet, assistant are all incredibly rude and unprofessional. They just want your money and in my opinion could care less about the pets.On a side note they wanted almost $600 for cremation. I was able to get it done for $130 @ springer and Son. Turns out companion adds hidden fees  that have nothing to do with cremation just so they can turn a huge profit on your pets death for nothing. Do your  homework if you question my merit. .... The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and genuinely cares about your pets. They provide awesome service, from regular checkups and vaccinations to surgical, and their prices are surprising in a good way. I've never felt gouged on that at all.
