Had issues with my dog here getting medicine prescribed for an eye issue to the point where doctor Wilson kept issuing different meds and none worked. Ended up spending money to not get my dogs issue fixed. This facility is called a hospital but can't perform a lot of surgery procedures so we ended up going to a pet hospital VCA specialist in Portland where we got our dog back to a healthy stage. We will no longer return to the place. Don't recommend to anybody that treats their pets like family. Most likely dr. Wilson will have somthing negative to say just like he did in person. Read Less

Dr. Wilson is a wonderful vet who takes his time with your animals especially our chocolate lab who has hip problems when we went in there and saw him he sat down and went over our dog Owen he did a wonderful physical on him he really rotated his hips his joints and moved him in ways I hadn’t seen him move or didn’t know he could move in those directions! They are very spend he but what vet isn’t when they’re trying to help your pet they have let us make payments when we didn’t have the full amount they are so let us know about a place that could help us with our vet bills since Owen needed and needs so much done! This clinic is by far the best vet experience that I have had. My dog has never had such a caring, thorough exam! My most recent experience with my aging dog clearly prioritized her quality of life and experience and Dr. Scheiper was empathetic and gentle. She went over all of my dog's symptoms and answered all of my questions. This is a difficult time for any pet owner, and I am so relieved to know that my dog is receiving the best care. I grew up at the vet clinic where my mom worked and have been involved with animals and their care my entire life. I have been to multiple vets in different states so I think I have a pretty wide experience from different clinics. Just like choosing a healthcare provider for yourself, it can be hard to choose one for your pet. I feel very lucky to have found this clinic and I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.. Read Less

The Dr. Is amazing the staff however needs to work on their customer service big time! My daughter broker her arm and needed surgery so I called 10 min after our scheduled apt for my dog to tell them what happened and that my daughter was getting surgery at the moment and we rescheduled for the same week just a different day. When I go in they were running behind... my appointment was at 3:30 we didn't get seen till 4:15. And to top it off they charged a $30 charge for changing my last appointment. It's pretty funny they kept apologizing for being so late but yet still charged the $30. They're brand new building is beautiful but their front desk person is sitting there yelling across the room to people that are sitting in chairs, about their dog and what needs to be done.... see a good staff with good customer service would walk their butts around the counter and go out to the people that are sitting in the lobby or better yet call the person up to the front desk.. I'm so happy I chose to bring my dog here! I am new to the area and my elderly dog has a heart condition, so when her condition appeared to worsen, I was really concerned about finding a veterinarian quickly who could see her right away. I called Baker Street Animal Hospital, and even though they were booked up, they allowed me to bring her in because they understood that she needed care quickly. Dr. Wilson was kind, compassionate, friendly, and he explained everything thoroughly. He came up with a plan to treat her, as well as plan for some additional testing to rule out other complications before starting her on a new medication. I feel so much better about my dog's prognosis now and I'm going to make sure that all my other pets come in for a check-up very soon. Read Less

I took my dog through a few check ups, and have to say what great costumer service they have! They have great prices compared to many other pet clinics and would highly recommend it. I took my parrot MuFasa in to get his wings trimmed his nails trimmed and a little trimming off his bottom beak. 67.95. I know you have a new building and all but do the customers have to feel the repercussions of it and help you pay for it too it might not seem like a lot of money but it is to me when my regular vets $35. They have been working hard to figure out what is wrong with my kitten, the doctor is awesome, same with the receptionists, but some of them do not know what they're doing and are not very nice. The doctor knows what he's taking about, but has a hard time to stop talking and let you talk, let's just say he doesn't stop even when you are interrupting him lol. Prices are fair. Read Less

What a bunch of donkeys at this place. My wife and I couldn't get out of some work obligations to make our appointment and called the morning before our first appt with them, and they said it would be a $35 cancellation fee. I've never seen this with any vet clinic and we decided to cancel our appointment altogether. They said they were going to send us a bill for it regardless....hahaha, ya right. Send that bill right over so we can use it to wrap a fecal sample of our dog right on your front porch. Don't give them your business. Read Less

First off, I have to believe C. F. was having a bad day (see his review). So our lab spent last night running outside every 30 minutes with diarrhea. I know its Saturday, but she really needs to be seen. We called our regular vet Companion Pet Clinic when they opened. "Sorry we are full today". They did offer to have us drop her off and they would take a look at her when they had time. Diarrhea in a kennel; not a good idea.So, we frantically start calling other vets in the area with no success until we called Baker Street Animal Hospital. "Of course we will see her, DR. Wilson never refuses to see a pet." We went in and saw the Dr. Definitely a vet that does not talk down to you and has a very good bedside manner. Great staff and wonderful doctor, but be aware of the very expensive markups on over the counter meds.  I paid 30.00 over what it could have been bought elsewhere. I was stupid and didn't ask the price thinking it couldn't possibly be that much, but it did. I was in total sticker shock. Learned my lesson and won't do that ever again. Shame on me. Read Less

This is by the far the greatest place to take your pets!!!!! Dr. Wilson is so great not only with our pet's but with their owners as well! So thorough and friendly! They always take the time to give you all the options, and to take the time to call and talk through their findings!! My wife has taken our dog to Dr. Wilson twice, and she says that he is one of her favorite doctors (for pets or humans). She says he's nice, down-to-earth, and easy-going. She says the staff is very nice too (not snobby at all). Dr. Wilson did a very thorough exam for our dog. The staff has been nice/reasonable on the phone as well to me.Read Less
