We use Ark for boarding our dog when we go out of town. She is a nervous dog, but always seems very happy to go there and is doing great when we pick her up. It's very comforting to board our girl at the vet. Read Less

Ark Animal Hospital has friendly, caring staff. Their prices are really reasonable, and they offer a lot of services. My only dislike is the interior cleanliness because I sometimes wonder when the last time they cleaned their floors was... But in all fairness, they work full time with animals, so of course it's going to look a little rough sometimes. Overall, I recommend this animal hospital for a standard vet visit! Read Less

WOW! We have used ARK for years - 12 or so, and we just left our two dogs with them for 3 days and nights of boarding. Something we have done dozens of times. We picked them up today and found 7 of 8 wet dog food containers were returned to us unopened. 1 cup of 4 original cups of dry food was returned as well. They fed our two dogs roughly 1/3 of their usual diet during the course of their stay. Equally disturbing is the way ARK management treated our concerns. We thought they really dropped the ball, but they were on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. They felt they did precisely as they were instructed. It would have been so easy to check our dog's history history or to give us a phone call to figure things out. I think ARK is more concerned about selling add on services, like spa treatments, than performing the core function of caring for our animals. Read Less

You guys ROCK!!!We have been bringing our pets here for years. Several years ago we moved to Corvallis and figured we would try a different veterinarian. Not one of them could fill the shoes left by Ark. So we went back. I'm so glad we did. We recently had to put our beloved boxer down. We've taken our pets to Ark for years and appreciate the time and care the staff put into our visits. I get the feeling they do care about my pet and care about working with me to find a plan that best fits my situation and my budget. The budget part is so hard when dealing with pets and they've always given me plenty of options. Ark Animal Hospital recommended extensive dental work for our small dog. They supplied us an estimate that ranged from $782 to $1657. We love our pet and would have had the work done by Ark if the estimate hadn't been so crazily wide open. An estimate that ranges from X to over 200% of X is not an estimate. It is a chance of really getting gouged.We checked with friends and learned of another Vet who supposedly had better rates. This Vet concurred the dental work recommended by Ark needed to be done and did the work for $398.00 - near the high end of their estimate - HALF OF ARK ANIMAL HOSPITAL'S LOW END ESTIMATE. Read Less

My husband and I have traveled quite a bit in the past few months and each time, we have boarded our cat here. I feel comfortable knowing he is at an animal hospital while we are away. The staff are very friendly, they give the cats some play time every day. The kitty condos come in two sizes, we have always gotten the smaller size, which I believe is $15 dollars a day, but they still have room to move around and be comfortable. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star is because the first time we boarded him here, they asked if we would like to authorise a fixed amount of money in case he needed treatment. Our budget being tight, I said I would instead like to be contacted before hand to approve an procedures. When we came to pick him up they said he had been sick, not eating and dehydrated so they gave him an IV and then tried to bill me for an extra $100. Thankfully, when I explained that I had not been contacted to approve this (I would have, but that is not the point) they dropped the charges, and we have had no further trouble. Read Less

Ark Animal Hospital has a wonderful staff and great vets. My dog was sick over the weekend and when I called their number after hours an answering service picked up and connected me with a doctor right away. Dr. Lewis even met me at the hospital to do an exam on my beloved "Honey". They get a two thumbs up from me!!! Read Less
