General Info
Cathedral Animal Hospital in Portland seeks to ensure an uninterrupted wellness flow by promoting the health tracking methods in Oregon standards. Upon initiating appointments, pet owners provide detailed updates regarding any changes in behavior, appetite, energy levels, sleep patterns, and recent environmental exposures. Every animal receives a full examination, which includes an oral health check, weight record, hydration status assessment, joint and vital signs evaluation. Analysts scrutinize the past visitation records to generate questions for understanding and predicting potential problems. Cathedral Animal Hospital assists pet owners by offering various services such as wellness visits, parasite tests, vaccinations, chronic illnesses consultation, dental scaling and polishing, nutritional planning, and diagnostic laboratory testing. A variety of flexible options are available to ensure multiple pets’ comfort, especially those with limited mobility due to old age. The return plan could combine staggered rechecks, at-home daily symptom logs, and seasonal reminders. Cathedral Animal Hospital helps pet owners make wellness a natural part of their lives. Dr. Sonny was the BEST Vet I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. My sweet girl Koda really loved him too. He was so gentle and sweet to all animals. He is not there currently and has taken some time off for family. We miss him very much. The staff there has done a great job of trying to keep things going since he left but it is just not the same. Today our Koda got sick and we had to take her to another clinic in Portland and they were about 5 times as much money for the same services. There is really nothing that compares to taking your loved furry children to a place where they know them and care for them. This other place was not that. Please come back Sonny!! Read Less

My cat had to see 2 different vets that were filling in for the regular one who won't be back for a long time they said. We took our 17 year old rat terrier to Companion Animal Clinic when she developed what appeared to be a cyst on her left front paw. The Clinic was virtually empty but we waited nearly an hour for the Vet to come and examine Roxy. A Tech came in to the examining room and took Roxy's temperature and we waited some more. Finally the Vet came in and took a brief look at Roxy and said "I can't help you..get her to a Canine Oncologist - this looks like cancer. You have some decisions to make." And then we waited for 45 minutes with nothing but a temperature check. I could go on but I run the risk of sounding like a whiner. Mediocre service. LITERALLY mediocre. This clinic is MEANT SPECIFICALLY for people who are "Financially not well" . Why do I say that? Because anyone who would put up with this type of MEDIOCRE SERVICE is either broke or a fool. I have been going to this clinic since 1997 and have gotten to know the doctor and the staff well. Dr. Rodhwara always spends a good amount of time with me talking about my pets, both dogs and cats. He is pleasant and very thorough. I know their prices are super reasonable and there are a lot of vets out there that price gouge and charge a lot more for less attention and service. I highly recommend Companion Pet Clinic in St. Johns. Read Less

We've been taking our pets to Dr Randhawa for over a decade. The doctor is knowledgeable and empathetic; he remembers details about our pets' medical history from many years past, and always deals with us honestly and with detailed explanations about diagnoses and care. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially given the quality of care for the price. I never feel like I'm being 'upsold' on unnecessary care or foods. I recommend this clinic to everyone.Read Less
