I’ve been bringing my dogs to Cedar Mill Vet Hospital for 8 years now. I live in N Portland now but still continue to drive my dogs out to Cedar Mill because they are so trustworthy. The entire staff and all doctors are fantastic - very patient and thorough. I also very much appreciate that they usually recommend starting with less expensive treatments to see if those work before moving forward. I recommend them to anyone who will listen and will continue to take all my pets to them as long as I live in Portland.

After adopting my Buddy Boy a Boxer Mix as my first pet in my early thirties, I was introduced to the veterinary industry of professionals who love animals so much that they went to post graduate school to make a career of it. Unfortunately, I quickly realized that these so called veterinary professionals aren’t doing this career for the humane love of animals, but to maximize the monetary profits of providing medications, follow up appointments, and unnecessary steps to simple health issues that the pet needs and or the pet owner wants. It’s anout what the pet needs first, and what the pet owner wants second, not what the wants and needs of the unethical so called animal lovers in the veterinary industry who care about there own selfish sales goals which burdens the pet owners which directly hurts the pets as they aren’t receiving the proper health care because a rogue used car sales business model is practiced by some rogue clinics. The Cedar Mills Veterinary Clinic was direct, professional and focused on healing the pets without the run around of bull meds, follow up, and expensive test procedure, trust me, I highly recommend the Cedar Mills Vet Clinic, the professionalism, organizational process, direct approach with the cost savings approach was in there business model. The professio at the Cedar MillsVet Clinic love pets and it shows, don’t waste time and much money elsewhere, just book your appointment and make them your primary pet care professionals, thank you Cedar Mills Vet

I have moved away from Cedar Hills and so can no longer realistically take Max, my cat here. However, one thing that moving around and finding a new vet has highlighted, is how good I had it. Whether it be the extra services not easily found elsewhere such as haircuts, or cat Pro BMP (??) blood tests for my cat, or whether it is the actual thorough exams the vets and tech gave my cats where they actually look my cats as well as speaking to me, or whether it is the time whoever was manning the front desk, took in speaking with me and my rambling concerns, whether it is any of those things, I realize now more than ever how exceptional it was. My gratitude.

This vet is worthless. We've been taking our cat to them for half a year for fleas and they haven't been able get rid of them. We suggested trying a different flea treatment and they've refused to give us anything other than Revolution. At this point I'm suspicious that they're leading us on to make the most money possible. Overall ineffective and unethical vet.

Before moving to this area, a good friend and very intelligent & talented veterinarian took care of my animals. I am a certified professional dog trainer and we both ran animal rescue's. You can imagine how spoiled, entitled and picky I became. I have now worked with each of the veterinarian's at Cedar Mill and I couldn't be happier. They have assembled a great team of caring and talented professionals and Dr. Rick White (owner).. Well he's in a class by himself! Passionate beyond comparison. A true diagnostician and troubleshooter and funnier than hell! A genuine good soul. I highly recommend these guys. They aren't bargain basement and come at a cost but you do get value.

I love Cedar Mill Veterinary Hospital. Everyone at this office is caring and clearly show they care about you and your pets. From the time Amy answers the phone through the time you meet with your doctor and walk out the door. We have two terriers who are patients of Dr. Bailey. He always gives them thorough exams and makes the boys (and us) feel as though they are the only patients he has. Our dog has allergies and ear issues and had to have a tooth pulled a couple years ago. Dr. Bailey took time to show us photographs of the surgery--more than we would have expected. He has tried numerous treatments for Roger and his allergies to get his itching under control. They are always terrific about refilling prescriptions. The entire staff is so caring and friendly. I would and do recommend CMVH to friends and would not even consider going anywhere else.

We have been taking our pets to Cedar Mill Veterinary Hospital for 20 years. Dr White and his staff are exceptional! They are always helpful, friendly and capable of accurately diagnosing our pets' problems. And because they encourage wellness checkups, our pets have not had any serious problems. I highly recommend this hospital and the veterinarians to anyone who is a pet lover.

Took in my 8-year old pup for a routine wellness exam... I felt comfortable & the staff was really friendly & easy to ask questions of. Dr. Stuart was engaging & had a wonderful presence. The Vet Tech was pretty awesome too! I'm happy to have such a great practice so close to home. Mr. Gus gives it 4 paws up - if he doesn't have to have his temperature taken again!

We love Cedar Mill Veterinary Hospital! The doctors, technicians and staff are wonderful.
I took our beloved chocolate lab in to Dr. Bailey because he wasn't keeping his food down, and was in obvious distress. Dr. Bailey did a thorough examination, and determined he had a foreign body in his digestive tract. An x-ray proved this to be the case. Dr. Bailey performed surgery a few hours later, and removed the foreign body (corn on the cob piece wedged in his small intestine). We were given clear instructions on how to take care of our dog post-op. We received the appropriate food and medicine for his recovery when we picked him up post surgery. They called to check up on his progress the next day, and to see if we had any questions. Our dog is doing great and will be back to his high energy ways in no time.
I highly recommend Dr. Bailey and the entire Cedar Mill Veterinary Hospital.

Given that my poor Coco is the one who just had surgery on Monday (and seems to be doing fine), I find it odd that I've been worrying more about my Sam, the worrier. However, I was so relieved this morning when I found Sam laying on the dog bed w/ his brother all on his own. He has refused to lay in any of the dog beds since his brother came home Monday, opting to lay on the hard floor in what seemed like a very worried fashion. Thankful for Dr. Rick who has taken such great care of The Boys all these (almost 13) years!

After adopting my Buddy Boy a Boxer Mix as my first pet in my early thirties, I was introduced to the veterinary industry of professionals who love animals so much that they went to post graduate school to make a career of it. Unfortunately, I quickly realized that these so called veterinary professionals aren’t doing this career for the humane love of animals, but to maximize the monetary profits of providing medications, follow up appointments, and unnecessary steps to simple health issues that the pet needs and or the pet owner wants. It’s anout what the pet needs first, and what the pet owner wants second, not what the wants and needs of the unethical so called animal lovers in the veterinary industry who care about there own selfish sales goals which burdens the pet owners which directly hurts the pets as they aren’t receiving the proper health care because a rogue used car sales business model is practiced by some rogue clinics. The Cedar Mills Veterinary Clinic was direct, professional and focused on healing the pets without the run around of bull meds, follow up, and expensive test procedure, trust me, I highly recommend the Cedar Mills Vet Clinic, the professionalism, organizational process, direct approach with the cost savings approach was in there business model. I have moved away from Cedar Hills and so can no longer realistically take Max, my cat here. However, one thing that moving around and finding a new vet has highlighted, is how good I had it. Whether it be the extra services not easily found elsewhere such as haircuts, or cat Pro BMP (??) blood tests for my cat, or whether it is the actual thorough exams the vets and tech gave my cats where they actually look my cats as well as speaking to me, or whether it is the time whoever was manning the front desk, took in speaking with me and my rambling concerns, whether it is any of those things, I realize now more than ever how exceptional it was. My gratitude.

We suggested trying a different flea treatment and they've refused to give us anything other than Revolution. At this point I'm suspicious that they're leading us on to make the most money possible. Overall ineffective and unethical vet.

Before moving to this area, a good friend and very intelligent & talented veterinarian took care of my animals. I am a certified professional dog trainer and we both ran animal rescue's. You can imagine how spoiled, entitled and picky I became. I have now worked with each of the veterinarian's at Cedar Mill and I couldn't be happier. They have assembled a great team of caring and talented professionals and Dr. Rick White (owner).. Well he's in a class by himself! Passionate beyond comparison. A true diagnostician and troubleshooter and funnier than hell! A genuine good soul. I highly recommend these guys. They aren't bargain basement and come at a cost but you do get value.

I love Cedar Mill Veterinary Hospital. Everyone at this office is caring and clearly show they care about you and your pets. From the time Amy answers the phone through the time you meet with your doctor and walk out the door. We have two terriers who are patients of Dr. Bailey. He always gives them thorough exams and makes the boys (and us) feel as though they are the only patients he has. Our dog has allergies and ear issues and had to have a tooth pulled a couple years ago. Dr. Bailey took time to show us photographs of the surgery--more than we would have expected. He has tried numerous treatments for Roger and his allergies to get his itching under control. They are always terrific about refilling prescriptions. The entire staff is so caring and friendly. I would and do recommend CMVH to friends and would not even consider going anywhere else.

We have been taking our pets to Cedar Mill Veterinary Hospital for 20 years. Dr White and his staff are exceptional! They are always helpful, friendly and capable of accurately diagnosing our pets' problems. And because they encourage wellness checkups, our pets have not had any serious problems. I highly recommend this hospital and the veterinarians to anyone who is a pet lover.

Took in my 8-year old pup for a routine wellness exam... I felt comfortable & the staff was really friendly & easy to ask questions of. Dr. Stuart was engaging & had a wonderful presence. The Vet Tech was pretty awesome too! I'm happy to have such a great practice so close to home. Mr. Gus gives it 4 paws up - if he doesn't have to have his temperature taken again!

We love Cedar Mill Veterinary Hospital! The doctors, technicians and staff are wonderful.
I took our beloved chocolate lab in to Dr. Bailey because he wasn't keeping his food down, and was in obvious distress. Dr. Bailey did a thorough examination, and determined he had a foreign body in his digestive tract. An x-ray proved this to be the case. Dr. Bailey performed surgery a few hours later, and removed the foreign body (corn on the cob piece wedged in his small intestine). We were given clear instructions on how to take care of our dog post-op. We received the appropriate food and medicine for his recovery when we picked him up post surgery. They called to check up on his progress the next day, and to see if we had any questions. Our dog is doing great and will be back to his high energy ways in no time.
I highly recommend Dr. Bailey and the entire Cedar Mill Veterinary Hospital.

Given that my poor Coco is the one who just had surgery on Monday (and seems to be doing fine), I find it odd that I've been worrying more about my Sam, the worrier. However, I was so relieved this morning when I found Sam laying on the dog bed w/ his brother all on his own. He has refused to lay in any of the dog beds since his brother came home Monday, opting to lay on the hard floor in what seemed like a very worried fashion. Thankful for Dr. Rick who has taken such great care of The Boys all these (almost 13) years!
