I've been a client for about a month since I took in two senior cats who hadn't been to the vet in quite a while.  In the past month, I've seen Dr. Davies and the team quite a bit to catch up on a couple of overdue issues.  From Libby at the front desk to Sabrina, Petra, Megan, to anyone else whose name I'm forgetting, everyone has always been very caring and kind to me and my new kitties.  Dr. Davies has impressed me with her warmth, humor, in-depth and focused clinical attention & bedside manner!  I know I have nice cats, but they were so warmed to her in just moments - there must be some magic.  I'm not sure what else to say, but in a vet, I'm looking for effective/efficient/warm care that helps my pets live a better life - and that's what I've been getting! I also wanted to wait to write this review until after we'd gone through an interesting health challenge (Major dental!!!).  Amber, the technician who managed Kerouac's major dental, was able to show, explain, and demonstrate all of the various safety equipment the clinic has invested in to ensure that patients are having the best possible dental experience.  She really understood the concerns that I've heard from other techs and was able to easily reassure me with her years of experience and particular interest in pet dentistry.  Given the concerns of my kitty, we may need to engage a specialist, but - I see it as a positive to offer referrals when they are appropriateHolistic care is a focus and certainly a priority, but as someone who appreciates Western medicine, I've been happy that treatments have been offered that were familiar to me & evidence-based.  Pricing is up-front and reasonable for a high quality, one-to-one experience.  And... taking 4 wisdom teeth out of my head cost significantly less than getting all of my cat Kerouac's teeth out!  That said - neither was cheap.   That said, I'd recommend them for people looking to improve chronic conditions, treat a new issue, or get important dental work! Everyone that works at Two Rivers is wonderful and so obviously care about you and your pet. My personal favorite is Dr Jordan Nuccio. She is very thorough, up-to-date, enjoys her patients which are my cats and has a wonderful sense of humor on top of her skill and compassion. I cannot recommended this Clinic enough. We have been talking our 2 Doberman Pinschers, who are now 4 and 6 years old, to Dr Nancy Curran since they both were puppies. Both of our four legged kids love Dr Curran and all the staff, and so do we. Everyone there is very nice, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Dr Curran is very sincere in her care of our dogs and the staff are very pleasant to work with for any procedures and exams that we need. We drive all the way from Oregon City to take our kids to Two Rivers Vet because they are well worth the extra drive for the extra care they receive from everyone there. Read Less

I have been using this veterinary clinic for years! The staff is amazing! Dr. Nancy adds to her staff by looking for people that are compassionate, loving to people and animals, well trained, patient with owners and pets and interested in all ways of treating animals that will help them, without dangerous side affects. Every person who works here is a person that Nancy would take her pets to and she is extremely talented as an example of doctoring animals in a loving and effective and safe manner. She is patient with the owners, their concerns, questions, and fears, as are all the people that work here. Timmy has neurological damage and had extreme issues when he was first rescued. Acupuncture helped his health, overall well being, his "finesse" in coordination and getting around. Acupuncture lowered his vet bills because there were no more rushes to urgent care or emergency. Dr. Curran is incredibly talented, kind and super smart. Everyone at Two Rivers rocks! Love this clinic and the very high level of service and knowledge of Dr. Jordan Nuccio. This clinic offers both Western and Eastern medicine applications. I finally found help for my suffering cat who was healed with traditional chinese medicine after years of struggling with the limitations of Western medicine. It has been an absolute life saving benefit to my pet to have Dr. Nuccio use her two schools of medical knowledge on him the past 7 years. I appreciate her kind bedside manner and care when we visit her. She is so intelligent and articulates the differences in medicine so well. She gives you a plan of care and will involve you as much as you care to be involved in the care and treatment of your pet. Wouldn't take my babies (dogs) anywhere else! Dr. Nuccio and Dr. Strom are wonderful! Dr. Nuccio is my regular vet and she sits on the floor with them, petting them and giving them yummy treats while we chat. I never feel rushed, and my concerns are always taken seriously and never make me feel "silly". Dr. Strom recently did a teeth cleaning and extraction of some teeth on my little guy, and he is healing up so nicely! If I could rate Two Rivers a 10, I would! Read Less

I LOVE this vet clinic! Our 9 year old lab has hip and elbow dysplasia and we were seeking another opinion on treatment options. Two Rivers Veterinary Clinic came up with an encompassing plan that included both conventional and alternative remedies. Our dog also got the most thorough exam she has ever had...I asked my husband: "Have we even been to a REAL vet before?" I HIGHLY recommend them! In regard to acupuncture...the first visit included it and our dog did feel much better. We had it done another time as well. I've been meaning to write this review for a while -- our wonderful vet, Dr. Laura Strom, joined this practice, so we transferred our cats too. Our very nervous girl cat LOVED this place - the staff are very soothing and had her relaxed and actually purring within minutes. I've never seen her be that relaxed at home, much less at the vet's. It was as though we'd treated her to a spa day. And of course Dr. Strom is amazing - our cats have been going to her for years and we would follow her anywhere.Read Less

I absolutely adore Two Rivers Veterinary Clinic. My family had been seeing Dr. Curran at her previous practice and we loved her work so much that we followed her to her new one. The staff is amazing as well and the one time we saw Dr. Nuccio, we were very pleased with her service, sensitivity and attention. My partner and I recently moved away from Portland and are having health issues with one of our boys (cats). We contacted Two Rivers from afar and they were so helpful and understanding - which is what prompts me to write this review. They are very fair with pricing and charges - only charging for 15 minutes of "exam" for each of my cats when I recently took them in to obtain a health certificate for our travels. If I was back in Portland, I would definitely return to Two Rivers. Read Less
