My boys saw Dr. Tavarez and she was super sweet to them. I was just visiting the area but if I lived here she would definitely be their new vet. Also their rooms are terrific, my boys loved the door climbing post.

I have a new puppy, a rescue. VCA saw her for her wellness and then today because she is ill. I was very impressed with the staff, their professionalism, their connection with Gabby and their willingness to take the time to make sure I was comfortable. Wish my doctor was like that. It was clear the doctor today had read the previous notes prior to examining Gabby. We are not out of the woods yet but I know we are headed in the right direction thanks to the care she is getting from VSA Raleigh Hills. Thank you!

Brutus goes here. I'm writing about Brutus. I'm writing about VCA. Their Doctors are CONCERNED ABOUT THE DOG. Then the rest, depends entirely on the vet. Dr. Schultz is probably his G.P., really....
Brutus goes here. I'm writing about Brutus. I'm writing about VCA. Their Doctors are CONCERNED ABOUT THE DOG. Then the rest, depends entirely on the vet. Dr. Schultz is probably his G.P., really. She and I talked recently and she had to remind me of something I had told her several months back. It proves that she listens beyond canine symptoms. she's quite forensic. She uses all the resources of Raleigh Hills VCA Animal Hospital and has never sent Brutus to a specialist. Raleigh Hills has such an assortment of Doctors, you can schedule for a specific one, or rush in with an emergency. Know if you have difficulty with one, you can always schedule for another. And stay with that other. There's one vet who I call Commando, another I call Forrest Gump... They read charts (wow. What?!) before they see you. The techs come and go, but they're consistent and empathetic. And most importantly for the company, the front desk. And especially Brenda.

We originally started coming to VCA Raleigh Hills out of convenience because it's near our house, but we've continued to be impressed with their skills and service. There have been multiple occasions where they fit us into their schedule because one of our dogs was injured. In the time we've been coming here, we've met all of the doctors and we feel like our dogs are in good hands when they're here. We highly recommend this vet office!

$66 for an "examination" fee plus the Rabies vaccination costs. For two cats thats $132 just to walk through the door. The lady on the phone stated that all clinics require this, which is a partial lie. This cost is ridiculous for a simple and required vaccination. I'm simply going to Petco on a weekend where they do a (I Believe) 24$ Rabies vaccination without the ridiculous $66 fee per animal up charge. There was a time when you could administer your animals vaccinations yourself, combined with the fact that Rabies is almost non existent for house hold pets in the Portland area, makes me a view these Vet clinics as digging "for profit" entities. Since another veterinary clinic stated there was a required exam, at a much lower cost point, I will to give this clinic 2 stars instead of 1.

Wow. We were not looking forward to this process of finding a vet for our normally healthy 12 yr old dog- he had no health issues until recently. We'd been to banfield clinics for little stuff, but I was dreading the "intake process" assuming it would be expensive, time consuming, and lengthy to get to a diagnosis. I could not have been more pleased with my experience! VCA gave us our first visit free, provided us with a TON of treatment ideas, and discussed it over with us until we mutually found what we thought was a good fit. Normally at the vet I got a sense of judgement and "do this or you're a bad pet owner" and we didn't feel that at all at VCA. I love that I can call them late at night (just called them about a medication question at 8:12 pm on a Wed night!) and they are super responsive and fast. I feel like their prices are reasonable and their service FAR EXCEEDS any other vet I've been to.

Dr. Blakemore and her team treated my old cat, Cosmo Kramer, with the utmost level of care. In his final days Dr. Blakemore called and emailed me frequently to check in on us. The level of compassion they showed is tremendous. I will be taking all future pets to this clinic.

While traveling on the holiday weekend we needed to find a vet for our dog Kaya. She was not feeling well at all and we were concerned. I did a google search and found VCA Raleigh Hills. First off, their hours are amazing - very convenient! But that pales in comparison to the level of service and care provided to us and our dog. They were thorough in their exam, questions about her symptoms and past medical history. They offered 2 different treatment options and followed up on her progress the next day as well. Kaya is fine and back to her normal self. We could not be more pleased with our experience.

I couldn't have been more impressed with the AMAZING staff at the Raleigh Hills Animal Hospital! I am a new cat owner and was more than anxious taking my already anxious kitty to the vet for the first time. From making an appointment over the phone to meeting with the vet tech and then the vet herself, EVERYONE put my fears at ease and made my cat feel safe and loved. I couldn't have anticipated a better experience. Everyone took their time and didn't make the appointment feel rushed. I truly appreciate the vet going the extra mile in clearing up some issues with previous medical records on my cat to not only assure he was healthy, but that I wouldn't be troubled with costly medical care. If you are looking for a vet hospital to take your animal in which they treat each four legged fur child as their very own, this would be the place!

I have a new puppy, a rescue. VCA saw her for her wellness and then today because she is ill. I was very impressed with the staff, their professionalism, their connection with Gabby and their willingness to take the time to make sure I was comfortable. Wish my doctor was like that. It was clear the doctor today had read the previous notes prior to examining Gabby. We originally started coming to VCA Raleigh Hills out of convenience because it's near our house, but we've continued to be impressed with their skills and service. There have been multiple occasions where they fit us into their schedule because one of our dogs was injured. In the time we've been coming here, we've met all of the doctors and we feel like our dogs are in good hands when they're here. We highly recommend this vet office!

$66 for an "examination" fee plus the Rabies vaccination costs. For two cats thats $132 just to walk through the door. The lady on the phone stated that all clinics require this, which is a partial lie. This cost is ridiculous for a simple and required vaccination. Wow. We were not looking forward to this process of finding a vet for our normally healthy 12 yr old dog- he had no health issues until recently. While traveling on the holiday weekend we needed to find a vet for our dog Kaya. She was not feeling well at all and we were concerned. I did a google search and found VCA Raleigh Hills. First off, their hours are amazing - very convenient! But that pales in comparison to the level of service and care provided to us and our dog. They were thorough in their exam, questions about her symptoms and past medical history. They offered 2 different treatment options and followed up on her progress the next day as well. Kaya is fine and back to her normal self. We could not be more pleased with our experience.

I couldn't have been more impressed with the AMAZING staff at the Raleigh Hills Animal Hospital! I am a new cat owner and was more than anxious taking my already anxious kitty to the vet for the first time. From making an appointment over the phone to meeting with the vet tech and then the vet herself, EVERYONE put my fears at ease and made my cat feel safe and loved. I couldn't have anticipated a better experience. Everyone took their time and didn't make the appointment feel rushed. I truly appreciate the vet going the extra mile in clearing up some issues with previous medical records on my cat to not only assure he was healthy, but that I wouldn't be troubled with costly medical care. If you are looking for a vet hospital to take your animal in which they treat each four legged fur child as their very own, this would be the place!
