Made an appointment for our adopted cat and last minute had the brilliant idea of seeing if it would be possible to get our dog established. Evergreen is an office full of amazing animal health care providers! They seamlessly worked our dog into the appointment and took action that was needed (he is in renal failure, but didn't have a clearly communicated treatment plan in place previous to this visit). Dr. Magruder wasted no time getting our dog the care he needed.
He was started on subcutaneous fluids and, again, the Evergreen team came through with helping us navigate home administration of these fluids. When things weren't going as planned and we needed more instruction on giving the fluids, Jeni worked us in with a same day appointment. Juan came in clutch, making us and our dog feel very comfortable and more competent about home fluid administration. And if that wasn't enough, as you can imagine, all this care and medicine can pose as a real financial stress. In talking w/Dr. Magruder, she was very understanding and willing to make things work and so that our dog can get the necessary care he needs!
Can you tell that we really admire Evergreen Veterinary Hospital?! They go above and beyond, dig deeper below the surface and work with both you and your animal companion(s) to get to the heart of the matter... and at the center of it all is the purpose of serving the animals of our community. Evergreen is a mover and shaker in the Salem community; with active community partnerships; these guys definitely care about our animal companions and it shows! With such a compassionate and committed animal health care team, I entrust my animals' care without reservation to Evergreen Veterinary Hospital!

Although this office does not accept Care Credit... They are wonderful people who really care about the welfare of our fur babies. Got the impression that Sadie's size (90 lbs) is a bit larger than the dog's they usually do acupuncture on, but the doctor was excellent and Sadie really benefited from her care and gentle touch. Warning, the tile floors are really slick for some animals. We used our carry sling to get Sadie in and out with a minimum of problems.

We take both of our cats and now our new rescue pup here. After our very first appointment we realized adopted one that Juan was fostering! Whenever we come in whether the appointment is for her or not, he always makes sure he asks how she's doing. We absolutely love it here. Every single one of the staff members are extremely friendly and they genuinely care. Not to mention they have great prices, that's just a bonus. We wouldn't take our 2 cats or dog anywhere else.

I absolutely loved my experience here, my wife and I brought in out newest member of the family and now understand why this clinic is so popular. We came in and were greeted by the girl at the front counter with a smile. We had about a 5 minute wait if that and I can say this clinic is so well designed, the artwork is cool and it felt like a cool cafe where you can bring your pets. Once we met the Dr we instantly knew we found our new vet! The prices are affordable and the care was top notch, I could highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for great service, great prices and feel 100% ok with leaving your pet in their care.

I came to this vet clinic based on good reviews. I am very glad that I followed these reviews because I had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and professional and the Veterinarian that assessed my cat was extremely thorough. She was honest with me about my options, and did not push any unnecessary treatments or tests. I think is amazing that they also do so many free exams for so many rescue groups. They also have huge dental discount months four times a year, which I scheduled 4 of my dogs for. Not to mention the hospital is warm and inviting, I highly recommend this pet hospital

I can honestly say that this clinic is by far the best vet clinic I've experienced. I love that it is not a walk in clinic where you have to wait forever to be seen and sit in a lobby full of barking...
I can honestly say that this clinic is by far the best vet clinic I've experienced. I love that it is not a walk in clinic where you have to wait forever to be seen and sit in a lobby full of barking dogs. I love that it's clean and very comfortable, not to mention beautiful! I've now used them 4 times and I can say it makes me so happy that I have a place for my pups and I don't have to worry about whether or not the care being less then the best.

We just moved to the area and our cat was shutting down with stress and wouldn't eat. Last time he did that, it became life threatening as his liver shut down so we felt it was urgent. I was so very impressed that the doctor got down on the floor and worked with him through his crate, taking care to make sure his crate remained covered and he felt as safe as possible. She really took time to get to know him and his needs and address my concerns as a pet parent. Her plan and treatment was spot on and helped him recover and settle down eating again and getting better. We also ordered his prescription food and it feels like we are settling in with our new veterinarian family already. I hated leaving our last doctor but feel like we will be well cared for here

I highly recommend this clinic to those looking for great doctors and great veterinary care at affordable pricing. I like that it is appointment based but they also take in walk ins and emergencies. They even offered me a beverage while I wait, this place goes above and beyond every time.

Our dog had a seizure this afternoon on our way into the Petco groomers. This is a first for our 4 year old Labrador. Evergreen Veterinary Hospital (located across the street) fit us into their busy schedule right away! They (all the staff) were so gentle with my anxious pup and they explained the care plan well. They even made sure I had all the chart notes and the ER address just in case any more seizures occurred during the evening hours. I plan to take both my dogs to this clinic for all future care. Thank you!!

First visit today for my 7 week old American Pit bull mix, Ellie May! She slept through the vaccine! Excellent service, very quick and friendly staff! I also had three rescue puppies from the same litter that will be going to the rescue facility tomorrow. They also slept through the vaccine. Puppies were even giving out kisses! The puppies were a little scared as it was their first car ride and first time around "strangers", but they calmed right down. I think they knew they were in a safe place!

The clinic is inviting with photos of dogs from local photographers, and you immediately feel that connection as soon as you step in the door. Dr. Magruder and Juan provide exceptional service, and do the little things that set them apart from other vets. Worth the drive every time!!

The staff was very friendly and professional and the Veterinarian that assessed my cat was extremely thorough. I can honestly say that this clinic is by far the best vet clinic I've experienced. I love that it is not a walk in clinic where you have to wait forever to be seen and sit in a lobby full of barking...
I can honestly say that this clinic is by far the best vet clinic I've experienced. I love that it is not a walk in clinic where you have to wait forever to be seen and sit in a lobby full of barking dogs. I love that it's clean and very comfortable, not to mention beautiful! I've now used them 4 times and I can say it makes me so happy that I have a place for my pups and I don't have to worry about whether or not the care being less then the best.

We just moved to the area and our cat was shutting down with stress and wouldn't eat. Last time he did that, it became life threatening as his liver shut down so we felt it was urgent. I was so very impressed that the doctor got down on the floor and worked with him through his crate, taking care to make sure his crate remained covered and he felt as safe as possible. She really took time to get to know him and his needs and address my concerns as a pet parent. Her plan and treatment was spot on and helped him recover and settle down eating again and getting better. We also ordered his prescription food and it feels like we are settling in with our new veterinarian family already. I hated leaving our last doctor but feel like we will be well cared for here

Very clean, very calm. I thought my cat would go crazy but the whole experience was very nice.
On a side note, come in thru the pizza places entrance off of Center St. Its towards the back side.

I absolutely love this clinic! I love the feel and vibe that it has, and most of all I love the 5 star treatment my pets get. I highly recommend this clinic to those looking for great doctors and great veterinary care at affordable pricing. I like that it is appointment based but they also take in walk ins and emergencies. They even offered me a beverage while I wait, this place goes above and beyond every time.

Our dog had a seizure this afternoon on our way into the Petco groomers. This is a first for our 4 year old Labrador. Evergreen Veterinary Hospital (located across the street) fit us into their busy schedule right away! They (all the staff) were so gentle with my anxious pup and they explained the care plan well. They even made sure I had all the chart notes and the ER address just in case any more seizures occurred during the evening hours. I plan to take both my dogs to this clinic for all future care. Thank you!!

First visit today for my 7 week old American Pit bull mix, Ellie May! She slept through the vaccine! Excellent service, very quick and friendly staff! I also had three rescue puppies from the same litter that will be going to the rescue facility tomorrow. They also slept through the vaccine. Puppies were even giving out kisses! The puppies were a little scared as it was their first car ride and first time around "strangers", but they calmed right down. I think they knew they were in a safe place!

I drive all the way down from Portland to visit Dr. Magruder and Juan, and wouldn't trust anyone else with my dog Butter. The clinic is inviting with photos of dogs from local photographers, and you immediately feel that connection as soon as you step in the door. Dr. Magruder and Juan provide exceptional service, and do the little things that set them apart from other vets. Worth the drive every time!!
