My animals Love Dr. Gerros and his staff and so do I! Not only is he compassionate and kind, he does what is best for the patients not just what makes more $$. His extensive knowledge of veterinary medicine and genuine kindness has made all the difference in several difficult health issues I've have had to go through with my dogs. Buddy, my rat terrier & I love this place! Knowledgeable Vets who are highly competent, kind & qwik to be helpful. The staff is comprised of animal lovers who are friendly & capable. Prices are always a bit less than other vets. Buddy seems to be in love with the place 'cuz there's plenty of room outside to do, yuh know, what dogs do best! I had taken my dogs here for a number of years, and Dr. Parnell was amazing. Unfortunately, she recently left and the person they got to replace her does not have her abilities. I took my senior dog in and Dr. Joynt never touched him (never even came within arm's reach), never examined him for anything other than orthopedic issues, did bloodwork only because I specifically asked him to, and explained away the outlying results. 10 days later I had to take my beloved dog to the... emergency vet on a Sunday evening, only to discover that he had blood around his heart, most likely from a mass, and that his entire abdomen was full of fluid. Two vets have stated this should have been noted at the time of his final exam, had he actually been examined. I will not take my other dog there again, and I do encourage anyone that does take their furry family to see Dr. Joynt to watch carefully to ensure he is giving good care, as he sure didn't with me. We took our English Bulldog here today for emergency surgery for pyometria. Her doctor was wonderful and was able to take her in and have the surgery done today. Emergency veterinary services were going to charge us 5Xs what this vet charged us. They are wonderful with reminding us about all of our animals vaccines and check ups, and I don't dread them because they are so reasonable. I recommend them with no reservations! Read Less

I always feel like my dog Willow is in wonderful hands with Dr. Sara. Recently needed to get some masses removed and the procedure cost much less than I anticipated and Willow's feeling better than ever. It's sad to hear she's moving to another vet, but I'm sure her replacement will be great, despite having some fantastic shoes to fill. We just moved to Stayton so I'm a little sad that it's harder to make the trip to Cordon Rd in emergencies, but I'll always recommend them. Read Less

I'm writing this review after only going to Santiam Equine Veterinary Clinic. The Veterinarian was very prompt (Which is so very uncommon). He is obviously highly educated but didn't make us feel "stupid". He handled our horses gently and smoothly (It was one of my horses first time). He also gave great information to us for our beloved dog. I'm moving back to New Mexico and I wish I could take this office with me!! Very pleased!Read Less
