Dr. Cunningham was the most abrasive veterinarian I have ever taken a pet to. Not only was he abrasive towards me, he handled my kitten roughly while giving shots and while putting her back into her crate. On my last visit (the 4th time I had taken my kitten there-she needed her regular kitten shots), he openly mocked my concern in reference to asking a question about her overnight stay to be spayed. He literally mimicked me saying "Why does she have to stay over night?" in a whiny, high-pitched voice, and then asked if I was "scared" and told me he had been doing this a "long time." He never gave me a reason, he was just wanting to defend himself. I decided that I had given him too many chances and too much of my money at that point. After his insensitive, rude and disrespectful behavior toward me at that final visit, I have decided that my kitten be spayed elsewhere. If he treats HUMANS this way, how will he treat my pet when I'm not around? And we found out that my GIRL cat that he had seen a handful of times is actually a BOY! He didn't even take the time to properly check. I recommend pet owners should go across the street to VCA. Read Less

I saw Dr.Cunningham for a removal of a thorn in my dogs foot. My dog ended up being OK from the procedure. My problem with the doctor was that he was very impatient about answering any questions I had concerning the operation as well as how he did during the surgery. My concerns were that he has heart problems and I wanted to make sure he was going to be OK through the procedure. I gave the doctor my dogs previous veterinarian info to have faxed to him and he failed to notify them and get the reports. He was not concerned about my dogs heart at all and was very frustrated at me asking any questions. I would not recommend seeing this doctor due to the lack of communication skills he has shown in dealing with my dog who I love so much. The medications I received from this clinic were expired and I ended up having to return them to them and getting the prescriptions filled else where. There are many choices out there for veterinarians I recommend not using it this one . Read Less
