I've been taking my diabetic cat Oliver to CPH for his check-ups, food and insulin. The vets are great (especially Dr. Sanchez and Dr. Johnson) however the last vet tech we had seemed like she wanted nothing to do with my cat and was cold and not friendly. And Oliver is a cuddly teddy bear kind of guy who purrs if you touch him so I'm doubting it was him. We've also had a difficult time buying Oliver's food here, it's almost never in stock so I buy it on Amazon now. However, the great service we receive from the office staff and the doctors overshadows these small things. The staff here was really friendly. The wait can be quite lengthy but they take walk in clients so that's very convenient. I had rescued a Dalmatian which was 1/2 of the normal body weight for a dog his age he was very emaciated. It was nice they could see me right away (2 days after we rescued him) and I didn't have to pay for an emergency visit elsewhere. The ladies at the front all seemed really caring and asked about my dog and the vet seemed really compassionate too. They helped me with his stomach issues and theCosts were reasonable. They started with the cheapest remedy and didn't run unnecessary tests.They listened to my input and suggestions on what was wrong based on his at home behaviors and symptoms. I was not allowed to make an appointment so I ended up being there over an hour in total. Tried to force me to put my cat into a carrier when he only goes in one to ride in the car. He walks on a leash and is fine. What really upset me was something that happened this morning that makes me wonder about the employees and what goes on behind where you can't see. I was driving in the parking lot and a car speeds in the parking lot almost hits my car and illegally parks sideways parking sideways not in the lines. I honked thinking this car was going to hit me or something. A employee gets out of the car and is very rude and yells at me!!!!!!! I parked legally and was driving an appropriate speed for a parking lot. This vet office treats us like we are the only people there, and that our children (pets) are their top priority. Our children have had many health issues and they have always been so great when it comes to their care and special needs surgeries. I 100% trust my children in their care and this office is like a family to us. From the fantastic kind hearted vets, to their lovely front staff...everyone works as a team and makes the animals #1. Even though we moved farther away, they are worth the drive and have helped us in so many ways beyond how we can explain!! They treated our recently lost son tigger (pitbull) with compassion and great care, again this place is the best ever and they have great prices!! Here is an example of how much they care... Came home to a card, that was sent by community pet hospital. When opened I read the sweetest, most kind hearted words, from those who also loved tigger dearly at the vet office. This of course made me sob, but I am so thankful for such a loving vet office and the care they had always give Tigger. My rescue is very shy. She really likes the staff here! Knowledgeable and caring. Fixed my dogs re-occurring eye problem. Recently helped her again after a upset tummy. Everyone there are very nice and caring. I have a basset hound who hates having his nails trimmed and makes a fuss every time but they always make me feel welcomed to show up again for his trims! They take good care of Jefferson. I've been going to them for years and have gotten good care. The prices are reasonable but really it's more about the people making us always feel welcomed. I always have a great experience at CPH - Staff is friendly and caring - Vet's the same and knowledgeable - One of my cats has had two surgeries for cancer and you all saved him - I also had another cat with mouth cancer and I was scheduled for surgery but the vet explained that it really wasn't a viable solution - she was older and he recommended I put her down - I did and appreciated the fact he didn't do an expensive surgery just to have her suffer or die soon after - Your prices and more than fair as compared with other vets - In short I am always confident when coming to your clinic - Great jobRead Less

The office staff are great even remembering names when it had been about a year since we had been in. I would highly recommend them. We have always appreciated the high level of customer service and experience at Community Pet Hospital. We took our two dogs in for exams, shots and a nail clipping today. As usual everyone is so nice and friendly and took very good care of our pets. I have lived in Tigard for over 20 years and early on tried other Pet Hospitals.
