So few years ago they were great but now I've called twice and the doctor there never called back when it came to my pet. I've been paying the insurance for over 3 years and for them not caring anymore on returning calls is not acceptable, I will now go make a call to the insurance company and file official complaint. Always check your pet before and after with actual video to document your pets health and always research the meds they give, if I hadn't done so, they would of killed my pet. Read Less

I've been stuck in a Wellness Plan and finally it's over!!! So now I can say what I've been wanting to say for a long time - Banfield of Wilsonville is the worst place to take your pets in my experience - and I've had a lot of experience with veterinarians in my life. The only kind and genuine, truly professional person there was a tech named Ashley who to my dismay no longer works there- she probably finally got wise to the horrible management - Cindy the Manager in particular - and left to find a real veterinarian hospital. Cindy was the most unprofessional, nasty, uncaring person to run anything much less a place where you take your fur babies for help. She should be running a car wash instead. Anyway, beware of this factory - they have no concerns for your actual pet, just the MONEY they can get from you. Read Less

Not at all happy with this pet hospital. When I asked to speak with the manager regarding a 40 minute wait for my appointment to be seen, I ended up with the most unprofessional, uncaring, rude and nasty woman named Cindy who did not show one ounce of empathy for my wasted time.  There used to be a wonderful tech there when I went in named Ashley and since she left (smart cookie - good for her she hopefully found a better place for her talents!), I have had nothing but bad service, ignorant people who could care less about my pet or my time - not even an apology! Either Banfield needs to shut its doors or find a new manager - I'll never take my pets there again! If they were the only vet in town, I still would never go there again. Read Less

They want me to pay the Vet Fee all over again. That adds almost 45.00 dollars to this appointment which will take all of two seconds. He was just seen by the vet. So is this fee really needed??? They go through doctors as often as I change my underwear. The doctors they have know about as much as I do, and sometimes less, which is disappointing because I've never been to vet school. Their most recent doctor was rough with my dog and didn't even introduce herself to me when she walked into the exam room. This doctor sent out the wrong test even after I requested a different one specifically and confirmed with her that that was the one I would be getting. I then had to pay the difference when I brought up their mistake and asked for the correct test to be resent. Very unhappy with my last visit and won't be going back, ever. Read Less

Summary of below: Poorly staffed and what staff they do have is rude and incompetent. I moved to the area in the beginning of the year and needed a new vet for my dog. A coworker mentioned having a good experience with the her Banfield in Hillsboro. So I thought I would try the one here in WIlsonville. From the beginning I didn't have the greatest impression. The staff always seemed too preoccupied to give my dog and I much attention. When I would ask the vet questions I often received "I don't know" as an answer, and that seemed ok to them. There was never an offer to try finding an answer.More recently I took my dog in for her comprehensive exam. When I went to pick her up I was notified that she had an abnormal test result and needed two more tests totally almost $400. The cost wasn't an issue for me, but the information the vet gave me was minimal even when I asked questions.I was told my test results would be back in two days and they would call me as soon as they came in. Well here's where it get's good. It was 2pm of day two and I had not received word from the vet, so I called. I was told that my results were back but I would have to wait for the vet to explain them to me and the vet was currently with a patient but would call me as soon as she was done. Ok, so I waited knowing my results were in and wanting to know what was wrong with my dog. An hour later no phone call, so I called back, the vet is still with a patient and will call me as soon as she is done, again. I received no phone call. (Side note, there was only one vet available each day that week, because the third vet was on vacation. No one to fill in for an entire week? Hm)So when I got off work at 5pm I went to the clinic in person. Again I was told the vet was with a patient and I would have to wait for her to call me. I said I would wait there until she was done. So I was put into an exam room. I didn't have to wait very long for the vet to come in however, she clearly hadn't looked at my dogs results yet and was reading through them while I was there, fine at least I'm finding something out, right? All the results are negative, which is good, except we still don't know what is wrong. But now there is another test to determine whether the original test was picking up a vaccine or an actual disease. What! Why didn't we do this test originally considering we all knew she had this particular vaccine? Well the vet didn't know there was such a test. Do I do the test knowing my dog has had the vaccine and am pretty sure I know what the results will be? Why not just treat her based on the information we already have? Well the test is only $26 and they already have enough of a sample to do the test at the lab, but I still have more questions and want to know why I should do this extra test. By this time however the vet has left me and I'm talking to the tech. The Tech asks me "is she showing any symptoms?" I tell her my dog has no symptoms other than the abnormal test, the tech responds "well that's a symptom". Really lady! So first of all I did say "other than" her test results, and second the test results you found are why I'm here! By the way this gal in particular was rude beyond compare the entire time I was at the vet's office. She was not able to answer my questions so she puts me back in the room to talk to the vet and let me know the vet was informed and is on her way in to talk to me.I waited about 10 minutes before the vet walked by the room noticed I was there, came in and asked me if I had more question. Oh boy. I couldn't help myself. I laughed and told her yes I did. I don't think she appreciated my laughing, but at this point I am taken aback by the way they are treating their clients.I go back and forth with the vet trying to figure out why I needed this test and why we couldn't just treat my dog. I finally figure out if the result is positive for the vaccine then we still don't know what is causing the abnormal test result. Ok, fine let's do it and the results will be in tomorrow, they will call me "as soon as they are in". Well tomorrow was a Saturday, Monday finally came along so I called them. As expected the results are positive for the vaccine and negative for the disease, now what?Well I decided I was done with the way this clinic was treating my dog and myself. My friend talked me into going to the Banfield in Nyburg. What a huge differnce! They were nice, helpful and answered all my questions before I could even ask them, and very informative. Way to go Nyburg Clinic! By the way the course of treatment ended up being the same as it would have been before, if I hadn't gotten the extra test. I do not recommend the Wilsonville clinic to anyone. There was one nice person, the receptionist. Who was also having difficulty with how to charge for a service, and no one would help her either. So they are not just rude to clients they are even rude to their own receptionist. Read Less

While I was there, I got my dogs dental cleaning scheduled ahead of time since it came with my plan and sent home with heart worm medicine that ALSO came with my plan. Great savings, lots of resources and great staff. Check em out!Read Less

Read Less

We take our dogs here for everything.  They aren't pushy and are super caring.  When we had to put down one of our dogs we had to go to the Banfield "Urgent care" in Tualatin.  We got sympathy cards from both Banfields.  It was very touching.  The banfield in Tualatin gave us time with our dog before they took her back and gave us time to get ourselves together before leaving.  Our dogs love coming in for their check ups.  The techs and the vets are awesome!
